And so you should, the flower stretch is a part of the bloom phase

I think one of my phenotypes was like this. Never wanted to finish/ripen. No amount of nutrients were ever enough. Maybe it just needs a real looooooong cure. Mine is developing into a beautiful floral and tropical banana smell. You can tell it's gonna taste gorgeous in a few weeks.
