@cheetah844, you've really been looking into it .. I'd rather cut the whole plant an hang it than let it wilt .. that just my opinion , there is some good videos on YouTube on how they do in the bush in California .. obviously massive crops an take along time to get it all done ..
@Go4Gav, will do. I also got curious about just not watering the plant and letting it wilt and die as a drying & curing process. I googled it but haven't found much on it & was worried about potential molds. It'd take longer to dry obviously but say if I have allot of plants one day it would be a very easy drying/curing process until I can get to the trimming.
You have any thoughts on that process?
@Go4Gav, thanks I appreciate it! I think I'll cut off all of the fan leaves. I feel they'll get crispy & as soon as their touched they'll crumble onto sticky trichomes. I'll pull a couple branches off & dry singly but leave sugar leaves attached. Then dry the rest of the plant without fan leaves whole.
@cheetah844, I've a few friends that have done this .. I've even tried it once on 2 small plants I had , you can see them hanging on one of my diaries .. they definitely dried slower that's for sure .. an for the mold Im guessing if your humidity is low enough an nice gentle breeze around the room it should be okay .. the leafs hang over the buds this way and kind of cure it I guess .. I only done it the once because I bought a waste of money trim bag and a very leafy plant.. the buds did smell lovely and were nice an solid .. guess just try a few branches that way your not at a full loss .. see which tastes an looks better
