PRO-MIX decided to expand the number of winners. Sponsor might have troubles sending prizes to Europe, equivalent prizes will be arranged in these cases. PRO-MIX will contact users living in Europe regarding this.

Considering the remaining number of technical errors in the Grow Question section, it was decided to suspend the "Grower of the Month" contest during February. It is planned to completely resolve the problems by March, at which time the competition is scheduled to resume. If you encounter problems with the questions, please use the feedback form at the top of the webpage. We will also look at how this pause will affect the quality of answers. Depending on how this will turn out, the GotM contest may be reworked.

I feel some of them are not fully resolved like quoted above but lets give it another week to see what happens. LOVE the fact they are reaching out and communicating this though. it was needed, hopefully more of this will happen moving forward.

@@GreenThumbedGrower, Thank you for your comment Regarding photo sorting. if you are using a mobile device. Try holding your finger on the photo and then dragging it up or down. You will understand when you can start dragging - a green highlight will appear. On the desktop, sorting works as usual. If this doesn’t work for you, write to us in the contact form with a screenshot of the screen, we will try to solve the problem as soon as possible.

The other problem that needs fixing asap is the inability to drag and drop pictures in the diary weeks. Some of my diaries have pictures of nutrients in-between each day of pictures and it just looks messy. You used to be able to rearrange the pictures but now you can't. Please fix this!!!

@Coco4CocoPuffs, due to our mistake, previous contest was open before the all the details were finalised, so we had to take it down. This contest is released with all preparations ready. It will stay for entirety of its duration and beyond that (like any other), so it's safe to apply your existing diary or start a new one here. Good luck and apologies for our mistake from before.

@HighMountainGardening, Premium Cultivars notified us of the updated rules to avoid any confusion. Now you can see them all in the rules section. The end date is incorrect and will be updated shortly, there is still plenty of time if you want to participate. The most important rules are these two: 1. Have to Be In USA or Canada - the grower must be a resident of USA or Canada (or should have some other option to take his or her prize when it will be shipped to either of these countries), or the sponsor wouldn't be able to send you your prize. 2. Premium Cultivars strains only - only diaries that use Premium Cultivars genetics can participate.

@GYOweed, the duration of the contest will be extended in the near future - as soon as the sponsor informs us of the desired end date. The current end date (Jan 1st) is incorrect and was due to our mistake, this contest should last longer.

@Ezzjaybruh, one month ago we had a technical problem with a system responsible for updating diaries. The issue should be fixed now - if the issue still remains, or if the bugs are related to other aspects of the website, please provide additional details, either in reply to this comment, or via email to [email protected]

Seeing a lot of good entries, Seedsman decided to pick 2 additional winners. Both will receive Seedsman Promo Box + Seedsman Classic Collection.

@Zurban_Poison, shouldn't be long actually, a few more days from now on (I hope). The thing is, winners for Diary of the Year contest are supposed to be chosen by jury not connected to Growdiaries or sponsor companies staff, this should ensure a fair choice. Initial plan was to find 3 juries and each would choose one winner, sounds easy enough. Unfortunately, not a lot of people that management selected agreed to get involved with contest where prize pool is this big. In the end we got an agreement with two jury, Jorge Cervantes and another one, we wouldn't name him out now - due to Jorge' achievements and reputation, it was decided that we should let him choose 2 winners. Jorge did his part, the second jury did not - he is ghosting us since mid-February. For now, we have 2 works marked as winners, but the third still isn't selected. Debating on how to proceed ultimately led to an answer that we should ask Jorge to select the third winner as well. Which brings us here, repeated postponing was related with trying to get in touch with second jury, attempts to find another one and now we are waiting for Jorge' judgement - we collected all the info about diaries that could help make a choice faster.

@m0use, according to rules, DotM winners from each month are added for participation (12 entries from each months' DotM). While Roberts sure got 2nd place in DotM October, he also got 1st place in DotM April (https://growdiaries.com/giveaways/Diary-of-the-Month-April-2022), this brings him to the participants. 3rd place from October wouldn't be added until this grower gets 1st place in DotM (or gets 2nd and 1st place already participating, 3rd place and first two places already participating etc).

Due to an *extreme* ratio of old diaries to new diaries, following changes have been made to this contest: 1. Only diaries created after 01.09.2022 are allowed. Old diaries removed from participation. 2. RQS launched a giveaway to supply lucky growers with everything needed for new diaries, link could be found in description. 3. Contest duration has been extended (will be extended further if giveaway shipments will be delayed). (Update)4. Prizes are changed from RQS growing supplies (part of the giveaway now) to RQS vouchers to spend on their website (picture representing prizes will be changed in near future): 1st place - 600€ 2nd place - 400€ 3rd place - 250€
