@growdiaries, Here is an example of the picture problem, 1st picture is in new diary mode, 2nd picture is the same photo but in old diary mode and 3rd picture is of clicking of the thumbnail of the 2nd picture in Old diary view. Hopefully this shows what I mean about the pictures not being right in the new diary format on mobile.
@HerbalEdu, thanks, that definitely helps.
I still prefer clicking on the week and then having all the info available than scrolling through weeks and having to click where I want to see details, but guess we won't have a choice soon.
@Shinsimilla, "I don't like only tiny icons for the watering and temp details etc, the old one was much easier to see what you're looking at."
just seen that if you click on them (tiny icons) or nutrients, you have a pop up with the old displays
@GrowDiaries, thks for reading,
i think if you find a way to show more than 6 thumbnails even if you want to keep the distance between each week not too long, may be if you add a button "show/hide more thumbnails" that could do it (like the "show more" from left menu following list with an additionnal "revert to less thumbnail" option.
and also re-adding the photos comment showing on the thumbnails then i could live with the new layout even if not totally sold to it.
(it's real sad to have a pop up with such large unused screen space on pc)
this are moslty my main griefs, and well i m slowly getting used to the new UI, just need to change a few of my browsing habits. in the end both new and old layout have pro and con.
minor stuff on top of my head also:
- on user profile page, it doesn't show the proper % values for "photoperiod" and "autoflowers", for me i think it show 14% photo, nothing auto when it should be more something like 85% photo 15% auto i guess
- smaller amount of watering (less than 1), doesn't show properly on the new diary view few more decimal would be great
- thanks for finally having fixed the broken links to followed strains in the left menu, but the value of new diaries for each strain is incrementing by hundreds each login
