@HerbSanta, I wasn’t real thrilled with this grow. I - as well as many other outdoor growers - struggled with septoria due to unusually wet and cool conditions.
I’m not much of a smoker - I make tinctures and edibles with my grows - so taste isn’t something I can comment much on. But I think the septoria may have left an earthy taste to my tinctures, but you don’t really notice it in the edibles (mostly maple gummies).
With THC in the 20-25% range (via t-Check), yeah… it’s a good couch-lock buzz.
@HerbSanta, I really dont feel like I did anything special lol, used a 50/50 blend of Fox Farm Ocean Forest and Happy Frog but I believe some of my issues have been caused by the FFOF so ill be running mostly Happy Frog next. And so far the phenos have been pretty consistent when it comes to flavor, very very sweet and yeah it does have a hint of some sort of Blueberry. But when you squeeze the nugs and smell it, ALL 3 of the Blueberry plants from Seedsman have smelled just like Blueberry Poptarts its amazing.. definitely recommend giving this stuff a run.
@RickSanchez, Thanks! My 2 are mid chop. I took the colas and giving the branches a few more days. This strain grows sooo perfect. Really pretty side branching, im happy with the yield, and they finish on time. Its a true 8-9 week done! Things just went so right this time.. the leaves were always praying for more, it drinks water so fast. I took it easy on the nutes and accidently gave it ml instead of tsp. So im gonna run it back and give it way more food. But even with minimal effort, it yields really nice and the buds glisten. I gotta wait for a bit of cure, but either way this was a confidence boosting grow for an auto. Take care and goodluck on your next grow!
@Fresco, ya ive looked at tomahawk, catalina winemixer, orange blossom, stardawg.. its so hard to choose. Most werent available until early first quarter but i snatched up a sale on Grape Jelly and Purple Punch that were in stock. They're just babies right now, long way to go. But if all goes well i'll eventually get around to some of the other strains. Catch em when they're on sale!
@HerbSanta, Hey! I advise you to take a tomahawk from green point, at first its cones seemed small to me, but now they have become huge, even despite a lot of stress. True, I did not take the original variety, but the seeds from the person who propagated it. but I think the difference is not very big :)
