We aren't using a sensor for ec or ppm but our controller is a credit card sized computer with a camera we use to read visual cues like people do and notify the grower.
We've upped the concentration to the recommended dosage for seedlings (1/4 tsp per gal. equal parts) because we noticed yellowing and Kindbot gave us a heads up.
