Don't let anyone tell you different. Unless you get a LED that is so bright you need c02 along with it, your harvest with cmd will out weigh any low end LED grows. As for watts used, you only use less with a LED if the LED is less watts than the cmd. If you use less watts you'll definitely have less bud. the spectrum from cmd is also very close to the sun like led. Cmd is much better than hid. Now if the good led lighting wasn't so much money, then I would prefer the good led over anything else, due to less heat issues., but for near 2,000 bucks for a high end led, they can stick them up their ass...
Enjoy your grow my friend. I had to react to the question you posted... I also use cmd inside my 5x5 tent, with amazing results. My big room still running HID lighting. Cheap affordable lighting instead of ripoff artists selling led at unaffordable prices. The little savings in energy doesn't justify the prices for a good led and no increase in harvest against Hid. Nope, the prices are not justifiable....
I’m growing in a shed in the garden I did have the tent in there but couldn’t get enough in to last between harvests so just built a stud wall and used some old doors I had so now Iv got 1.4x1.9x1.9 so Iv got nearly 3 metres of floor space and nearly 2 metres high Iv lost a lot of room due to the box fans going to be taking them out and trying something different
Hi Cat, I've been lurking and watching your GDP grow with interest. Great job! I have 2 GDP (and also 2 Blue Dream) just finishing their fourth week in flower. Nice to watch you and sort of "see into the future" what is - hopefully! - in store for me, in a few short weeks.
Our techniques are similar, and I picked up on a few things that will be helpful to me. In fact, I just tied one of the Blue Dream plants into a fan shape with a flat profile - very similar to your plant. Anybody who thinks that LST stops after vegging is really missing out!

Noticed you grow alot of Grower Choice. I've ordered alot of their seeds but havent tried any of them yet. I've ordered more seeds than I will ever need in this lifetime.. But I wanna see what Growers Choice strains are all about.. Are their genetics pretty decent in your opinion?
