Hey there Bud, looking good! Mephisto is all autos, so I wouldn't top them. I think for autos you are generally never advised to top them, training is recommended though. I think the whole game with autos is babying them to not stress them out or stunt them since they are on a timer. If you look at my grows you can see how long it takes to recover from screw ups (I post it all). So plant ties or a trellis net may be preferable to help avoid defoliating more than is necessary. That leaf that is touching the soil is a cotelydon, the first leaves that come out with the taproot. They will eventually turn yellow and fall off. Or just turn yellow, so don't freak out if that happens later. You could pluck it, but I'd just leave it until later if it was me. Good luck on the grow, you're off to a great start
