Why would you want amber trichs? That means your thc levels are dropping. You Ideally want 90% cloudy 10% clear for the max thc and terps.

if your plant was flowering before you switched to 12/12 then its DEFINITELY an auto. Photos will literally ONLY flower if they get 12 hours of darkness. Some strains and phenos, especially strains with haze genetics like northern lights, can take a lot longer in flower even if they are autos. Also, the plants in the picture are MORE than done. You want 90% cloudy trichs with 10% still clear, and 0 amber trichs. You also want 70% of your hairs to be red with 30% being white still. The remaining 30% white hairs will mature and go amber during drying, and the remaining 10% clear trichs will turn cloudy. Once cloudy trichs start turning amber, that means your thc content is going down and it wont be as potent or tasty. Also, just cause a plant turns herm, doesnt mean the bud is bad? Its if it goes herm and starts producing seeds right away. If yours is DONE like in these pictures, and just started throwing bananas or seeds, its still completely potent and good smoke. You honestly come off as some novice grower with ADHD that got wound up and got mad at a perfectly smokable plant. Ive had MAC that ended up producing a few seeds right at the very end of flower, and yet when I tested the THC it was still at 24% and had 3% terps, and smoked absolute fire.

Dang, should have harvested a bit earlier, amber trichs means you lost some thc potency. Being locked in the couch with cbd filled amber trichs doesnt mean the weed is stronger :/ You want 90% cloudy trichs with 10% still clear, and you want 70% of your hairs to be amber, with 30% still being white. Once harvested and while drying, the trichs and hairs will continue to mature, and by the time they are dry they should be perfectly ripe with 0 amber trichs but 100% cloudy and 100% amber hairs with none white or brown.
