<span class="link_user">@India_Calcoen</span>, <span class="link_user">@Kushycat</span> starting from the bottom, I remove any leaf pointing to the center, any leaf shading budsites. Move around the plant as you go. Limit to 25% or less. Always leave the crown with at least 3 leaves. Be reserved until you are comfortable with the process. And give time to recoup.

What I have learned, or at least read in books and guides, is that you should cut away the leaves on the inside so that light can get in, so if you want to remove something, I would do that. But there are certainly better or more experienced people here who can tell you more about it. Nati can definitely tell you something about it <span class="link_user">@Natrona</span>.
