Yours may go longer it looks like... mine had mostly brown pistoles by day 57 but continued to swell the buds long after that.

@HighRoller909, so I’m not sure what you mean. Two weeks ago I thought the pre flowers which were very small, looked like male. Last week I thought I saw pistles. Watching it this week the male parts have very clearly shown themselves as well as a small inflorescence of pistoles mainly near the top of the bud. I’m tempted to just keep growing it out. I din’t Have any nearby neighbors who could have plants blooming that the pollen would wreck. I really like the plant and would like to see how it colours up as the cool weather sets in. Maybe I should put it up as a question and get some other opinions from more experienced growers. Maybe it’s normal for males to produce a few female flowers in Central American sativas. I know hermaphroditism is common among them. I don’t think that whatever is happening is induced. Plant health has been fine. I suppose the fact that it was a late planting could have some influence. I’ve never grown outdoors before. Cannabis science has come a long way since I had my little cabinets back in the early 90s. Hence the Old Dog New Trick nickname. Sorry, I’m pretty much a noob when it comes to growing today’s varieties. I grew the same strain outdoors this summer and just harvested what amounts to one rather respectable bud. The whole plant consisted of about three branches, none of which were more than 40 cm in length. All three branches ended up covered top to bottom in dense sticky buds. I have read through all the diaries of this variety and see that there is quite a large spectrum of plant types. Mine looks and smells good though hope yours turns out well too. Lower yellow fans late in flower are usually just the plant moving nutrients from old growth to new. Hopefully if someone sees a bigger problem they will step in and correct me.
