I find myself constantly flip flopping during a grow. Like no im not gonna train or top this plant and the next thing i know im doing the opposite. Im a believer in trusting your instincts tho so go with it

These genetics are vigorous and impressive. Are the undersides of your strawberry gorillas leaves have a reddish/purple tint to them? I have one now and it's beautiful. Good luck mate and go easy on yourself. Mistakes are our most reliable tool for learning.
