I'm glad girls recovered. To be honest, I had my doubts, root rot is a b* haha. Luckily you diagnosed them and treated them on time. Happy grow !

, yeah, I believe hydroguard will solve your issue. I also ordered it, but I don't live in the US and shipping has been a pain in the a.....in the meanwhile, I submerged roots under H2O2 @ 3% for an hour, painted reservoirs (they were kinda translucid), and added a new air pump, as the one I had was unsufficient for my setup. Water temp was fine. After that healthy new roots started growing from old ones and plants are growing nicely. Looks like in your case hydroguard will be sufficient. Hope your plants recover. Dude, are you sure your problems are being caused by ph fluctuations ? What about root rot? Are roots looking thin and fragile? I'm running my first RDWC and I'm having problems with root rot. Leaf symptons from my plants look very similar to yours.
