@einamio,One more! LOL One thing I failed to point out is that your grow is already looking way better than mine did at this point, so I bet you'll have much better end results.

@einamio,For nutes I did Cal-Mag & the 3 Fox Farm nutrients (Grow Big, Buds & Blooms and Big Bloom (all dosed according to manufactures recommendation). For soil I used 1/2 Fox Farm Ocean Forest & 1/2 Fox Farm Happy Frog. I also put in some perlite for extra drainage. I really wouldn't follow my lead on this one though, I only got 12 dried grams in the end. Just enough to show me how awesome this plant can be. I'm anxious to see how yours goes & hopefully I can learn something because I really want to grow this one again. I'm smoking it right now, I wish I could share :) Soooo good! One of these days I might post the grow. I tried to figure out how to do it but I couldn't get the pictures to upload. I'll try again when I have more time. I took daily pictures, kept a journal, etc.

@einamio, I had nothing but problems with the grow, presumably because I don't really know what I'm doing. I'm here to learn. Mine went into flower on day 31 then I harvested on day 43 of flower which was day 73 of life ( I think I forgot to say "of flower" before...big difference!). I harvested because the plants leaves looked horrible & I didn't want to risk the little bit of bud that was there. The tiny frosty buds looked great but all the leaves were dying & not in the way they do when it's the last week or two. Maybe it didn't like that I had my lights on 20hrs per day, but the rest of my plants didn't mind. I probably had the lights too close as well but my light is really heavy & I didn't have anything I could hang it from that was taller. I think the Orion F-1 is probably just not a newbie strain. The 3 that did excellent for me were Blue Cheese, Fat Banana, and Purple Punch (all from Royal Queen Seeds).

@Shelly420, thanks and no, These phenos are genetically spoken some kind of unicorns. I've had a purple queen Auto from rqs 4 years ago, that took 20 weeks til harvest, 1 sweet zz Auto this year, that took 17 weeks and the 119 Day banana started flowering, when her sisters were allmost finished...i cant rely on the given flowering Times because i run them outdoor. Its mostly 2 to 3 weeks more veg and 1 to two weeks less flowering in mid europe.. let your banana go until trichs are good. Mine will Fall Sohn because i have the first moldy Spot spotted today...

WOW! I only ended up with 12 grams from my Oriion F1 so your grow is totally impressive. Mine were just about the best 12 grams of weed I've ever smoked. It was covered in trichomes and tasted & smelled incredible. I'm totally jealous of your grow :)

Best of luck! I received a freebie seed of Orion F1 from RQS. The harvested bud is my favorite of the 6 strains I've grown so far (newbie here) but I had so many issues with my grow. The leaves curled up like tacos almost from the start. I was giving it the same nutes as my other 3 plants I grew with it, and they were all fine. I ended up with a whopping 12 grams of dried flower but OMG, it's the best 12 grams I've smoked in years. I want to master growing this plant but will wait for the seed price to come down on them first. The sheer amount of trichomes that covered this plant were increditble. It was white & frosty, I just wish it gave me more than 12 grams. I ended up harvesting mine on day 43 of flower (day 73 of life), it was ready.

@Green_fiend, Saw it! Ok, that's hysterical & looks like the top of my Fat Banana. It must be dickweed. I wish I could post a picture of min in the comments (or can i??).

Any harvest is a successful harvest in my book (I'm still learning as well).

I've got a Fat Banana Auto from RQS that is currently on day 76 (flower day 53). I'm thinking it should be ready for harvest but there isn't any smell & the trichomes are minimal. I see you are on day 119. Is it supposed to take that long? Info from RQS says flower should be between 49-56 days. I'm a newbie to growing so I'm checking out other grows to try to determine when to harvest. My Fat Banana has HUGE buds on it, it's really impressive. @Green_fiend, Ironically the one I am growing at this very moment has one big ass 10"-11" bud at the top with two fat round ones at the base of that bud. It's pretty comical.

I've got a Fat Banana auto about a week away from harvest. Mine pretty much look like yours do. Mine have massive size buds for the size of the plant (it leans from the weight) and the buds are dense, but there is almost no smell & the trichomes are few & far between. It's on day 71 of life & day 48 of flower. I'm thinking it should be covered in trichomes. I'll know in a few weeks when it's harvested & dried. I hope it's the silent but deadly type, because if it is I will grow it again. It took almost no effort to grow. A great strain for beginners like me.

@Shelly420, haha yea it's a shame I can't have my grow in the open air cos of the smell. But honestly ya grow setup do be sounding kinda interesting, I'd def give ya diary a follow if ya decide to post it

@Densko,Thanks! I haven't killed it yet, but the leaves are all curling up. I'm not holding out much hope. That's ok, I planted 3 other strains & they are all doing great. The RQS Purple Punch is absolutely covered in buds. This is only my 2nd grow ever so it's all a learning process.
