@Kelly420, Oh and one more thing, with the szhlux pt8000 lights you can set it on different modes. 1 mode has only 3 rows of lights I think, next mode has 6 rows of lights, the other mode allows the lights to change depending on temps. Which modes do you keep ur lights on?

I have tried a grow with the same lights. My babies only grow to size of week 2 and they get stunted and don't grow any more. I'm seeing ppl with same lights and many different day/night temps and such...idk why my babies won't grow

I have a question/concern. Twice I have tried a grow. Bought reputable seeds, bought tons of dirt and coco, humidifiers and all the necessary equipment. BUT... My babies only grow the first 2 leaves past seedlings, then the first set of leaves, stay small, get stoned some how and don't grow big at all. They stay small. I see many on here using same lights I got which are the szhlux pt8000. I'm not sure what's going wrong. It's happened twice with two different grow attempts. They get stunted and stay small. Any advice would be so very helpful. The lights have settings for having 3, 6, or all rows of lighting on at a time, could this be where I'm failing at???

@beenSlayin, And the soil/medium used ? What did you use and what ratio of it? I had a bunch of seeds I started and they all got one set of leaves after their starter leaves and stayed stuck there and didn't grow...:disappointed:

@SkaterSkates77, that light does put off 1000-1400 umols at 3 feet away, so it should be good. My tallest top struggled because of too much light. I also was running CO2, SO most of my tops were sitting at 2000 umols, but honestly, the best looking bud growth was around 2 1/2 to three feet from light, greenest and frostiest

Also, having the same light I'm wondering did you really have that huge light very close to the plants? I'm new and trying to learn so I can have a nice first grow. I have bought a few of those lights and am wondering what's the proper distance from lamp to plant. For some reason I thought it had to be about 3ft away. Please advise

@BeenSlayin, Can you tell us what type of grow medium you used? What ratio of medium to soil, or only medium?
