@ATLien415, sweet. Bunny's coat is even red and purple hue on the back. depending the light she receives. I had her at a shelter for abandoned cats, after a first pretty shit life, she now has a great 2nd one :smiley_cat: Cat are so cool, favorite stoner buddies !
@Snakeking, I forget to mention that this temple ball is a mix resin glands collected through a 73 µm and another 25 µm mesh bag. There is almost no contaminants at those two mesh sizes and you get primo hash. I also wash with a 160 µm and get another 5 gr Temple ball but with more contaminent and it was much less shinny but the smell still awesome. Now time will do its stuff :pray:
@Snakeking, Thank you buddy !
I made the hash from trimming and small buds. I obtain this 35Gr out of 400+ Gr of trim. I could have washed it one or two more times... but as I tried to get the best quality, I limited to 5 washes to avoid some green traces which proves that contaminants have made their way through the wash bags... Watch Frenchy Cannoli's tutorials on Youtube ! This guy is my master as many other hash passionated enthusiasts :pray: They also just launched for 4/20 a full free 1:30 documentary about him. That's so inspiring.
@SWITCH420,
Hey man,
Thanks a lot! Always nice to hear some kind words :smile:
So yeah, the Cool Cure is honestly pretty awesome.
Harvest, pre-trim → dry & cure cycle takes around 8–10 days, and your stuff is good to go.
That said, I still let it cure in jars for at least 4 weeks (no burping) before I actually touch it.
What really makes it worth it for me are:
- the preserved terps from the gentle drying process
- the crazy stickiness of the buds even weeks later
- and full control over the entire drying & curing phase
But it really depends on your personal consumption - if you’re just a casual user, the price is definitely steep.
Here in Germany, unlike in the States, we usually don’t have central AC in our homes. So traditional tent drying always comes with compromises in terms of quality. So I can’t really compare results to setups where each room’s climate can be individually controlled.
The Cool Cure makes things much easier - you stay in control of your environment the whole time and basically can´t "overdry". If you're on a budget, you might wanna check out "Dryferm Bags". Heard some good stuff, haven’t tested them myself yet though.
Happy growing!
And if you’ve got any more questions about the unit - feel free to ask.
@SWITCH420, Hey, quick follow-up - got a tip from a buddy: https://vivosun.com/crowdfunding/vcure. Supposed to offer the same functionality - and some improvements - as/over the Cool Cure but at half the cost. Definitely looks like something to keep an eye on !
@SWITCH420, thaks for the info! I must admit that my way of making hash is much more primitive. I never perfected it:upside_down_face::slightly_smiling_face: No aging, no heat, no nothing....just a 70 μm sieve and ice water. This and the tutorial will most certainly enhance my skillz:+1:
@KurtHighgrade, good question mate !
1/ Heat press your resin in between two layers of plastic free leaves (You can find some @ The Press Club or by looking for "Paper Hash". with a glass bottle felt up with boiling water Do that during 30 min to a hour.
2/ Then, it gets really soft and malleable like warm marshmallow All resin membranes have exploded, mixing all the compounds all together !
3/ Rub this mass of resin between your gloves (get some good quality gloves and plastic free if you can... does it exists ??).
4/ seal this ball in a paper hash for aging it I age mine for 3 months minimum. I like to forget some in the house ... more it's aged, the better !
4/ For much more tips and full open source tutorial Check out French Cannoli on Youtube. He explains it so well. I promise you'll get some shinny balls too if you check it out :call_me_hand::sweat_smile:
Have a good day.
@KurtHighgrade, hey thank you Kurt ! I think it's because I washed it with ice cold water ;-) I love the process so much ! All about slow craft and patience :call_me_hand: Have a great day., thanks for the vibe.
