I didn't actually use Calnesium, I used Future Harvest's other CalMag product, Organical Magic.

This was my second run with House & Garden's Cocos line. I've had pretty good success with it so far, but feel as though House & Garden have to complex of a product line that can quickly break your budget.

I've had three full runs through this tent already and so far it's been great. I originally purchased it because it's all I thought I could fit into the space I have. Though I probably could have gone a bit bigger. Nonetheless it's been just enough space to run 2 plants in 1 gallon pots. The biggest issue I've had with this tent so far is that it's difficult to keep temperature / humidity stable in such a small tent. Opening it for just a minute will drop the humidity significantly. Because of this it can also be difficult to vent heat. I'm currently using a 4" exhaust fan but I'd benefit from upgrading to a 6".

The Mars TS is an alright light for the price. It's efficiency is pretty good for a cheap LED, but it also has some confusing flaws. The short ends of the reflector don't angle outwards like the longer sides do, this means that the light spread along these sides is actually greatly diminished. At best it's suitable for a 2x2 space. Additionally though its heat dissipation isn't awful, it does produce more heat than the Reflector 96.

This run was an experiment where I took clones during flower from my first bagseed grow. I don't know any specifics about the genetics, but it's indica dominant that will show purple colouration late in flower, especially when exposed to colder lights off temperatures. It seems to be prone to developing nutrients issues mid flower. This run most of the top fan leaves turned a yellow/rust colour, became dry and curled in late flower.

The Mars TS 1000 was an improvement upon the Mars Hydro Reflektor 96 I was previously using. It ran a touch hotter so I had to add an extra fan to the tent to compensate. It’s not the best light, there are certainly much higher quality “quantum board” style LEDs with better chips, but for the price (less than $200 cad) it was worth it.

House & Garden nutrients worked very well with the high frequency fertigation used for this grow. I didn’t experience any major issues, but did allow the EC in the root zone to climb too high halfway through flower which resulted in some burnt tips and some coppers spots in fan leaves. The nutrient calculator on their website is easy to use, but tended to result in a much higher EC, so I compensated by diluting it more. Considering the wide array of products House & Garden makes it's interesting they don't make a Cal-Mag product. The owner of the local hydro store highly recommended House & Garden, but suggested I supplement with Organical Magic by Future Harvest.
