This diary documents my very first photoperiod growing a Panama Red grown in a 4×4 Spider Farmer tent using a single-plant DWC setup. I used the full General Hydroponics Flora Series (Micro/Gro/Bloom), Armor Si, Cal-Mag, Hydroguard, and KoolBloom during late flower. Every adjustment was made by watching the plant’s actual behavior rather than following strict charts just learning as I went, responding to changes in pH, PPM, and environment, and trying to understand what the plant was telling me. Since this was my first photoperiod, the focus was curiosity and improvement. I documented everything: germination, early root development, topping at the 5th node, my own style of LST, heavy defoliations, small mistakes, environmental fluctuations, recovery, and the full flower cycle. The purpose of this diary isn’t to show a “perfect grow,” but to show the real process of learning, adapting, and seeing how far one plant can go when you pay attention and stay consistent.
