hey mate,I saw your question on my page, you don't get notifications when someone types and replies in there so I'm answering here. Autos or photos, doesn't matter in coco.People saying "autos are fragile at the beginning, don't feed" , this is wrong. I've seen autos thriving in first 2 weeks with my feeding regime yet I've seen photoperiods that were so fragile in veg. That depends on plant's genetical codes. Coco has no nutes in it, is a very good medium to learn about your plants. You have all control on your plants,it pushes you to observe the needs of the plants and treat them right. Things change very quick in hydro setups (coco as well) , you see a deficiency,it goes away after next feed... Coco + good nutrients + sufficient light = big, quality yields. All of this applies to both autos and photos.Since your medium doesn't contain any nutrients in it, you should start from day 1 with low doses. Because if you don't feed, little seedling won't be able to find nutes in root zone and start to pull energy from its cotyledons, later on you'll see it stays small with pale leaves and seems stunted. Low doses like 1ml/lt CalMag + 0.5 Base nute(A&B) for the first week or so. If you do it right, plant will establish roots in only 10 days and show explosive growth afterwards. Also, do not forget to water the pot before planting seeds, with about 0.5lt water.Add 0.5 ml/lt calmag + 0.5 ml/lt base AB in it and then plant the seed after watering.I do this for the seedlings to find food after sprout.
