About 10% amber so I chopped them. I would have liked 20% but I got impatient. Healthy strain. If the CBD does as good as they grew I will be happy. I'll post weights once dry. Well this crop is disappointing as far as yield goes. NL 1 - 16g NL 2 - 23g I triggered these at about 24 inch so I will grow till 36" before budding next crop. It is disappointing but it is better than last crop so things are improving. I also had some lighting issues which are now figured out so that kept them from reaching full potential. Now it cures. Smoke report when ready. OK, it is cured enough for a sample. It needs maybe one more week to cure out the last of the nasty uncured tastes. Nothing spectacular in flavours, kind of reminds me of a kush without the spice. Fast hitting buzz and feels like a sativa. Not great but not bad either. I hope the CBD part is strong. I get a short term relief of pain but the great pain killer effects only last an hour or so. Would I grow it again? Well I still have a few CBD seeds for next crop so I will know better by then whether I want to continue down the CBD trail. I have one more Northern Lights CBD and two of the White Widow CBD seeds. Buds are a bit fluffy, could be denser but I had some lighting problems in the last few weeks. Onward to the next crop, its getting better each crop.

Well this crop is disappointing as far as yield goes. WW1 - 16g WW2 - 15g WW3 - 18g I triggered these at about 24 inch so I will grow till 36" before budding next crop. It is disappointing but it is better than last crop so things are improving. I also had some lighting issues which are now figured out so that kept them from reaching full potential. Now it cures. Smoke report when ready. OK, it is cured enough for a sample. Tastes much like regular White Widow with a bit of citrus added. Again not spectacular taste but it is different from the Northern Lights although they smell similar. The buzz is more Indica like, seems to slow down the clock a little. Couchlock is very likely with enough puffs. A very powerful hit, only a couple tokes leaves the ears ringing. CBD effects maybe better than the Northern Lights. Would I grow it again? Well I still have a few CBD seeds for next crop so I will know better by then whether I want to continue down the CBD trail. I have one more Northern Lights CBD and two of the White Widow CBD seeds. I would not grow it just for the taste only the CBD. Buds are a bit fluffy, could be denser but I had some lighting problems in the last few weeks. Quebec Super Skunk

Oh these poor Skunks. I did not do them justice at all. They started out as healthy as the Fruity OG with beautiful shape and foliage. I messed them up by getting too happy with the trimming shears. And nute locking them twice at the wrong time. And transplanting them from buckets into bags a week before budding when they were already too big to transplant. Plus the lights were only 300 watts of white full spectrum for most of the grow with me gradually adding 170 watts of coloured LEDs in the final month. The plants would have been much better if they had gotten that extra 170 watts for their full life. I gave the plants 2 x 12 hour days of nothing but Blue light. I noticed the buds developed a little purple colour and the frost looked thicker. The aromas got really strong by tonight. I got a hint of that roadkill skunk in the last week so if this cures with that strong aroma I will grow this one again. Again, with proper care this could be a nice producer. Dry, cure then PUFF. Notice the photo. The 3 skunks are hanging from the 2 hooks on the left. Ya, the smallest bunches. I will be lucky if there is a 1/4 oz. Oh well, next time. Weight when dried. Smoke report when cured They dried out a lot faster than I wanted. A whopping 12 grams so 4 grams per plant. Now hurry up and cure damn it. After a sample of near cured bud I am not really impressed. Very little of that roadkill skunk aroma or taste. Super Skunk is a cross of Northern Lights and Skunk #1. It tastes more like Northern Lights. It does hit pretty good, like Northern Lights, nothing wrong with the buzz. This is a pretty good strain, just not what I was looking for. After an email to QCS they recommended Skunk #1 so once the CBD run is finished I will do Skunk #1 and maybe Acapulco Gold.

Fruity OG Kush

I decided to chop them early today. Despite all the damn rookie mistakes I made with this Fruity OG she came back pretty nice. She got nute locked twice and flushed twice, triggered too early by mistake then forced back into veg, she was a month earlier than the Skunks because of germination problems with a batch of seeds so she should have been into bud much earlier. A very healthy strain that can handle anything. I will grow this one again simply cause of how tough and easy to grow they are. With the proper care this strain could be a great producer. Dry, cure then PUFF. Weight when dried. Smoke report when cured They could have dried a little longer so it will be lots of jar burping. Nothing amazing as far as size of buds go but they look pretty good and smell great, hoping the cure brings out more of those fruity flavours. 55 grams is not great but actually better than I figured. Cooked off some ISO oil from the sugar leaves. Kicks like a mule. It even has some of the fruity flavours. just about 2 grams. Final Smoke Report Out of all the fruit strains I have tried this has the strongest fruit smell yet. (except some exceptional BC Blueberry I smoked a ton of) I smell mostly mango and a bit of citrus with that spice of the Kush. It makes you want to stick your nose in the jar for more than just one whiff. The smell stayed in my nose for a few minutes. The taste is just as fascinating. My first impression was mango with blonde hash and then the OG Kush part takes over hanging around for a while. A pleasant easy smoke. The high kicks in at the top of the head like a sativa then a bit of that indica body fuzz mellows it out. With 1% CBD it seems to numb pain a little as well. Overall, Taste and Aroma 5 Growth and hardiness 5 Worth growing again 5 Fruity OG Kush will stay on my grow list. This was one of the freebie seeds from my order from QCS and will be purchased soon simply because I know I will be very sad when I smoke the last of this. Fruity will be back.
