When creating Ice Bomb we wanted a strain full of flavour and a heavy coating of ice white crystals. It is a three way hybrid of Vanilla Kush, White Rhino and our original Bomb #1, making it extremely potent and one of the most exciting new genetic crosses available.

The finished buds are incredibly resinous and are covered in a thick bed of ice white crystals full of THC. When cured they have an intense flavour and smell that is an appealing blend of chocolate with hints of vanilla. Ice Bomb is indica dominant, staying quite short but also extending outwards to form a fantastic bushy plant that will tend to produce a large single kola, whilst still producing heavy yielding side branches. During flowering the buds and leaves can develop a purple sheen making it particularly attractive. Ice Bomb is very consistent and hardy and it will grow well even in difficult or less favourable conditions.

This strain is ideal indoor & out and will thrive in SOG and SCROG systems. Indoors the plant is a good producer with yields up to 500g/m2. THC and CBD are both very high (THC +20%) making it ideal for medical use with relaxation in mind.

Mostly indica strain smells like strawberries and very frosty. Will update at smoke report. Update: after processing, and curing it has a chocolate, fruity, strawberry smell. Taste like chocolate, with a flowery fruity zing. Very pleasant indica strain with a kick.

Ice bomb- bomb seeds START: The seeds were taken out if packadge and place into water for 18 hours . Next, they go into a medium ziploc brand bag Starting method : The seeds went into a cup of water for 18 hours . Following that they went into a damp paper towel ; folded up , put in a medium ziploc brand bag closed up . That bag will go on a heat pad which has a probe and temperature control. I do my best to keep the temperature at about 26°C . Check the seeds every 12 hours untill I had some gorgeous root about an 3/4 of an inch long . SEEDLINGS: To start I use the standard red solo cup protical, they grew very nicely into their first set of leaves, no stress issues what so ever up until this point . Starting off with 72 hours of light under fluorescents. VEGETATION: Once the seedlings enter into a 1 gallon pot in my mind it's a vegetative stage. They recieved an 20/4 lighting cycle for the next couple weeks. Now here comes the curveball. My father got sick and my choice was stay and look after the company or fly half way across the country . So I took the flight . I return 12 days later? These plants had no water, no love , nothing for those days. Anyways to skip the sob story and keep it scientific we will say on day 13 without water is my return home . Only one plant lived ... barely. At this point it would be easy to pack it in. The top of the plant had one leaf left with a small amount of green; aside from that it was burnt , dehydrated , the whole list ! RECOVERY: The plant had around the clock rehabilitation. This included sitting under a 150watt fluorescent light at a monitored distance to ensure no further damage . 2 weeks into recovery it is starting to get the top foliage back. 1 month later it's looking pretty damn good , 2 months she is fully recovered. At this point I take clones from that plant , leaving a week or two before placing them in their flower area . FLOWER: So and old grower trick passed along to me is to feed the flower nutrients and then leave the room dark for 24 ^ hours . In the early stages of flower I tried the 3"×3"flexable SCROG which after a few weeks I ended up just taking the thing off ( as shown in my grow diary ) leaving the stems with no support really what so ever . With ice bomb it was able to take the stress of the buds without snapping so they were just sitting there almost seemingly weightless . Really didnt notice the smell much untill the end stages of flower at which point it will smell smell like gods V*Gina, a pungent thick aroma , with notes of chocolate, cheesy , with a light skunky after taste. They had 6 hads of straight water . They sat at 20.9°c / 48% rhm. Now in jars were they will sit being opened on the daily until they are ready to show off!

Thank you Bomb Seeds—this grow was the bomb! ***** I can’t tell you how easy these plants were to grow! They germinated easily, thrived in my little shower grow, tolerated my newbie handling, me being away for 2 weeks at Burning Man, 2 transplants, spider mites, power fluctuations and my PTSD from The Thomas Fire. They trained nicely, resisted a fungus gnat invasion, pmd, and were never fussy about nutrients. My only complaint was getting a ball, and it’s hard to complain because I keep my grow space open and it’s not well light sealed. ****** These were also easy to trim without a lot of leaves in the bud. I dry trimmed and I went pretty easy on it. ****** The best thing about Ice Bomb was the scent of these big ole buds! Much of the flower it smelled like vanilla and sugar. Towards the end, the scent deepened into a milk chocolate. The color got a little rosy but mostly I got good sized chiffon buds loaded with billowy yellow calyxes and brown hairs. Very sweet flavor, lots of frost! Great for a stealth grow because it’s less skunk and more floral. ******* I let trichomes go to about 30-40% amber. The buzz is very strong, heady, with a good body stone. ***** The texture of the buds is like spun sugar after some cure. ****** A rerun of some of my notes from the last week, week 25: ****** For my next grow I would like to add more light or switch up to COBs move into a larger space, be it a tent or a diy grow room, augment my soil with coco as well as perlite, if not switch mediums entirely, be more gentle with transplant and add enzymes and bloom boosters to my supplements. ******* Thank you Bombseeds for sending me these fantastic beans and for your help and support. Thank you to WhiteWidow for hooking me up with Terpinator, and special thanks to Terpinator for sending me your very easy to use and effective product. ******** —Fairy __about me: I am a 54 year old woman with a California Prop 215 compliant medical grow. Cannabis helped me detox off of bupenorphine (Suboxone), an opioid medication used to treat opioid dependence. I was on large doses of fentanyl and morphine for several years prior to Suboxone, and at one point was taking 17 prescription medications for neuropathic pain caused by a spinal cord tumor, endometriosis and interstitial cystitis. I am currently off all prescription medications and continue to use cannabis for pain and stress reduction, primarily in the evenings. Being able to grow my own has offered me more control over quality and trichome ripeness, both of which are crucial to effectiveness for me. ____ Follow me on Instagram @thefairybudmother if you would like to know more about me and share in my advocacy of cannabis as medicine. I believe all cannabis use is medicinal use. To your health!
