OG Upsetter was the result of a programme designed to boost the production of a strain called Mob Boss. Mob Boss had thrown up a pheno-type that seemed exceptionally promising but which needed help in the production department. Crossing it with Guide Dawg elevated production to realistic levels.
OG Upsetter is ready to harvest at 8 weeks of flowering indoors with much-improved yields. Its buds are dense, crystal-covered and display some lovely blue and purple colours especially with cooler night-time temperatures towards the end of flowering. The small percentage of African Sativa genetics has given this weed an open, expansive effect with no upper limit, when smokers/vapers think that the effect has levelled out the sativa side creeps up taking you higher and higher. This is no seat-of-the-pants ride though as the indica genes provide a warm and comfortable stone that cossets the consumer giving perfect relaxation. This is one big, comfortable, expansive high.
