"Nutrition tailored specifically to plants growing in coco!"
Temple Rise A & Temple Noon B is a two part based nutrient package designed specifically for plants growing in coco. Plants growing in coco (coir/coconut fibre) require a different ratio of nutrients to those growing on soil or a rockwool-based hydroponics system. This is because of the need to counter the naturally high potassium and sodium levels in the coco, and to take advantage of the coco's natural ability to hold and retain certain nutrients while others are leached through in the run-off.
Indica's Temple Noon B is designed to compliment Temple Rise A to supply the right nutrients at the right levels to ensure the plant receives the correct dosage of each essential nutrient.
The potassium level in Temple Noon B is lower then you will find in a dedicated hydroponic or soil fertilizer. This is to ensure that your plants do not suffer from phototoxicity that will result if too much potassium is available to the plant in the vegetative phase. This can occur if high potassium fertilizers are used on plants in coco fibre that already have a naturally high level of available potassium.
The high calcium levels in Temple Rise A has a dual function;
1) it provides the plant with this essential macronutrients.
2) it drives out phytotoxic sodium for the coir that can remain a problem even in high quality coco that has been thoroughly washed and buffed.
The nitrogen in Temple Rise A is in the form of nitrates. This is a readily accessible form of nitrogen, and additionally overcomes many of the issues of salinity that can occur when growing in coco. The magnesium levels in Temple Rise A are also high, this is to ensure that the Ca;Mg ratio is in the balance required by the plant and to prevent ' lime induced chlorosis'. The micronutrients in Temple Noon B are chelated with specific compounds designed to work with the pH and chemistry of coco fibre to ensure that the micronutrients remain available to the plant.
Application:
Shake bottle before use.
Once you have transplanted your cuttings, empty your tank/ reservoir and fill with fresh water. Apply at 4mL/litre of Temple Rise A. Stir the reservoir and then add 4mL of Temple Noon B. Stir well again
After addition, check the pH of the solution is at the optimum for crops =5.8-6.2, pH will vary depending upon local water quality and any other additives you are using.
Leave the solution for six hours before applying to the plants for the first time; this allows the solution to get to room temperature and allows any chlorine from the tap water to gas off.
