Plantastar 600W

OSRAM Plantastar 600W is a single‑ended high‑pressure sodium horticulture lamp for open or enclosed luminaires. The 230 V E40 bulb draws 600 W and produces about 90,000 lumens with a warm 2000 K spectrum optimized for flowering while supporting vegetative growth. LEDVANCE’s datasheet notes photon‑flux maintenance above 90% after 12,000 hours and a B50 service life of 32,000 hours. The clear T46 outer bulb measures 285 × 47 mm, weighs roughly 150 g, and can burn in any position. It is operated with conventional control gear and an external ignitor; hot restart is not supported. In practical setups with a suitable reflector, a single 600 W Plantastar effectively covers around 120 × 120 cm, delivering about 1100 µmol/s PPF for dense, even canopy illumination.
