Ice Cream Cake

Dense, closed structure. Hairy. Green dominant, very sticky to the touch, still carrying a bit of moisture, but already announcing itself before you even break it open. Pungent sweet at rest. Dry aroma: sweet, gas with cream up front. Underneath there is sulfur and skunk. Intensity of smell 9 out of 10. Complex but not scattered. Ground, it shifts. The skunk and gas take over, what was compact opens up into something more direct. Same profile, just louder. Lit, the skunk holds. Flavor goes sweet with an unexpected menthol note, arriving only with heat. Dense smoke, full-bodied, not harsh. Goes down clean. The onset is fast. Hits the forehead first with subtle pressure around the eyes, cerebral before anything else. Then the body settles in quietly underneath. Deep and comfortable, awake anf functional, but in a weird way. The kind of high that keeps you present without letting you be particularly useful. Great strain, highly vigorous, great internode spacing and lateral branching. Day 70 harvest, could probably have chopped her a little earlier. Terps came out creamy, cakey, hint of citrus and caramel. Solid harvest from her, over 4oz for her and just under 8oz out of a 2x3 was solid results for the free cuts. Ice Cream Cake is a great smoke, needs to cure but the smell off her is killer. High is heavy indica, smoke is just ultra smooth and creamy. Buds are dense and purple, just caked.

The buds have the most density you can possibly have in bud. Un real. This came with threat of bud rot which I had just a very small amount of in some of the very top buds. These were completely removed and took bud only from the next node. The bud dried a touch more than I hoped at 11 days and I lost some smell and taste but when smoked it does still have some taste close to a fried cream taste. Very smooth smoke. Absolute dream for making rosin etc. So much dusting! Very effective smoke nice relaxing buzz. Over 6 ounces from one plant in 3 gallon pot. With 200 watts used.
