Dark Devil Auto®

The Dark Devil was easy to grow outdoors in the Netherlands. The first 9 weeks The weather was good, nice warm and sunny. The last 2 weeks where wet and not very sunny. For one of the plants I had one top with some fungus, but the damage was low. Tha olants stayes short and compact, basically they are one big top. The colors where disappointing, most stayed greenisch and only one is purple. The purple one is not harvested yet. I didn't weigh all my tops in wet condition, some are drying for a week now. I have some pics with my hand as reference. And an estimated wet wieght based on one of the tops, 49 grams including stem. So approximately 150 grams for 3 plants.

Airy bud, dark purple flowers almost black in the sunlight. Not much of a smell right now.

These plants grew fast and very tall. All growth was exceptional and fairly standard until flowering. The genetic variance in flower quality is extreme. Ranging from 7g of recoverable trimmed flower on 1 plant to 107g on the best. A massive amount of material went directly to bubble hash because it was so loose and larfy I didn't want to see it after shrinkage.

Harvested at 10% amber or less, it has a nice daytime effect.

My issue with these plants was not having enough light. I fed them well but they didn't seem to grow into anything substantial due to being in the corners of the grow tent for half the grow. Normally id be pretty disappointed with such a low yield, but given they're the starters to my perpetual grow cycle, I can look past it.

If you want purple weed this is the strain for you. so sweet and sticky

Great strain for relaxing and showing off to your friends, the buds are dark purple, and resemble dried lavender when ground! This strain has a lot of bag appeal and taste great to boot. The plant itself is a very picky eater, always seeming to want more until she doesn't. very big stretch. Quite foxtaily

The development of each plant has gone according to plan. Nothing untoward has happened. I am very satisfied with the genetics. Thank you DarkDevil®️

smell, fast hit, euphoric.

This strain is a nice hybrid. I feels like more of a daytime smoke to me but there’s some of that nice indica body buzz in there, too. This strain certainly has beautiful colors but the genetics are very prone to foxtailing. It all made for a very interesting looking plant. It was definitely a fun grow and she finishes quickly. This one took 73 days from sprout to harvest.

Pleasant high, not too intense. Very enjoyable. Smokes really well too

These plants don't show when their thirsty, there would be almost no drooping until they were really dehydrated (don't know if that's an autoflower trait), so check the soil, not the leaves. A bit sensitive to nitrogen, I mistimed the transition off of grow nutes and gave them nitrogen toxicity. If you're going to grow this strain start your taper down of nitrogen as soon as you see the flowers forming. Because of the slow start because of being too dry, and the sub-optimal finish because of nitrogen toxicity I didn't get to see the full potential of this strain, but despite both of these issues it looks amazing (4 out of 6 went very dark purple) and smells amazing (citrus forward with strawberry after notes). I'm so into this strain! I'm going for a round 2 with my 6 remaining seeds so I can see their full potential.

This plant ive noticed has a tendency to foxtail. Every single one i grew foxtailed. But fuck, their a beautiful plant. I would def keep growing them because of the color. I love it.
