Strain Description: Opalo SWAG is line-bred from our famed SWAG OG line, if you want to learn more about the lineage, check out the detailed SWAG OG strain description. It has been separated for 3 generations and selected for outstanding flavors and beautiful almost Candy-look-alike flowers when grown under the right conditions and selected for the right specimen (variegated). Within this strain, you will find many flower types, as shown in the Photos. From solid, heavy-yielding Hybrid flowers with the density of an indica and the size of Sativa strains. On the other hand, there are swarm-buds (fox-tailing), which look like a Dr Grinspoon on Steroids. What is uniform across this line is that the majority of Phenos will produce potent buds with invigorating Flavours. The most common one, which we call the SWAG chemotype, features a Savoury,-Umami terpene profile, which will get you hungry just by smelling the flowers with hints of Gas. Others lean more into a chemical direction, with dominating fuel and hair-saloon aromas. The most outstanding for our palate was from a single-leaflet specimen producing green crystal-covered Foxtail-flowers, which smelled like Sour Green apples with a hint of fuel. Definitely one of our personal favourite strains. For most people, the SWAG leaf morphology will make it unrecognizable as Cannabis. Moreover, due to Opalo SWAGS beauty, this strain enriches every ornamental garden, while producing potent and flavorful flowers like no other. Morphology: Large range of Phenotypes. Often Single Leaflet SWAG phenotypes, variegation being the most frequent coloration, albinos have been rarer observed in our test run. Green Plants tend to be very vigorous and more on the heavy-yielding side when the right flower structure has been selected for. On rare occasions, regular Cannabis leaves might occur, from 100 plants we had 2 with regular Cannabis leaves. Aromas & Flavours: Desert, Umami, Savoury, Delicious, Appetizing, Fruit Liqueur, Hairspray, Fuel, Sour Apples Effects: Highly dependent on the Phenotype, often heavy-hitting hybrid high. Development: Green Opalo Swag plants have shown to be extremely resistant to fungal diseases and barely affected by any pests. Rather easy to cultivate and in regard to nutrients might prefer more alkaline soils than regular strains. The variegated specimens are a bit more sensitive to extreme humidity or strong sun but have shown to perform well in Northern European climate, which is rainy, humid and cold, as well as Mediterranean climate conditions. Indoors can be trickier to cultivate, consider higher pH requirements than with regular Cannabis.
