🍑 Passion Fruitz by Zamnesia Week 11 | The Solo Survivor Is Still Writing Her Own Story 👑🍑🌿 Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! 💚🌱 And our solo survivor... is looking absolutely beautiful. 🍑👑🌿 This girl continues to do something that she's been doing from the very beginning: She takes her time. 😂 No rushing. No panic. No sudden sprint toward the finish line. Just Passion Fruitz... moving at Passion Fruitz speed. And honestly? I'm completely fine with it. Because although she isn't racing through the flowering process, she is developing beautifully. She's green. She's healthy-looking. She's building flowers. She's covered in beautiful white pistils. She's producing resin. She's filling her space. And every time I look at her, I see another little sign that she's continuing to move forward. Slowly. Steadily. Beautifully. 🍑🌿 So this week... let's give our solo survivor the spotlight she deserves. ──────────────────────── 👑 THE SOLO SURVIVOR ──────────────────────── There's something special about having a single representative of a genetic line in a room like this. When you have multiple phenotypes from the same genetic family, you can compare them. You can look at differences. You can see how they express themselves side by side. But with Passion Fruitz... this girl is our solo survivor. There's nobody else in the room telling her story for comparison. So everything she shows us becomes part of her own individual identity. And what an identity she's developing. She's been the slow girl. The patient girl. The girl who looked at everyone else rushing into flowering and basically said: "Yeah... I'll get there when I get there." 😂🍑 And now? She's there. She's flowering beautifully. She's just doing it on her own schedule. ──────────────────────── 🌸 SLOW DOESN'T MEAN STOPPED ──────────────────────── This is probably the biggest thing I want to highlight this week. She's slow. But she's absolutely not stopped. There's a difference. And I think the photographs show that really well. Look at those flowers. Look at the amount of fresh, bright white pistils. Look at the new floral growth developing around them. Look at the resin beginning to cover the surrounding structures. She's moving. She's just not moving at the same pace as some of the other girls in the room. And that's okay. Actually... it's fascinating. Because one of the easiest mistakes we can make as growers is assuming that every plant should follow the same calendar. Week 10. Week 11. Week 12. And we expect every plant to look exactly like the textbook picture for that week. But plants don't read calendars. 😂📅🌿 Genetics have their own rhythm. And Passion Fruitz has made her rhythm very clear. She's taking her time. And she's doing it beautifully. ──────────────────────── ? WHITE PISTILS EVERYWHERE ──────────────────────── The first thing that really catches my eye in these photographs is the pistils. So many beautiful white hairs. They're reaching out in every direction. Almost like tiny little flags saying: "Yes, we're still working." 😂🌸 And that's actually one of the most interesting things about photographing her right now. She's not giving us a massive visual change in terms of pistils suddenly turning brown and retreating. Instead, we're seeing continued fresh growth. New white pistils. New floral development. More structure. More resin. It's almost as if she's extending the flowering chapter rather than rushing toward the final pages. And I'm perfectly happy to keep reading. 📖🍑🌿 ──────────────────────── 📸 TWO MORE STACKS FOR OUR SOLO GIRL ──────────────────────── And of course... we had to get some macro photography. Because when a plant is moving slowly, photography becomes even more valuable. Why? Because sometimes the changes are so gradual that you don't notice them with your eyes. You walk into the room every day. You see the same girl. She looks beautiful. You walk away. Then you photograph her. And later, you put the images beside the photographs from previous weeks. Suddenly... you see the evolution. That's what I love about stacked macro photography. It freezes these tiny moments in time. And these two stacks give us another little window into what Passion Fruitz is doing. 🌸 White pistils. 🌿 Green floral structures. 💎 Increasing resin coverage. 🍑 More definition. And most importantly... continued development. She may be slow. But she's definitely not standing still. ──────────────────────── 🌿 SHE'S STILL FILLING HER SPACE ──────────────────────── Another thing I really like about her this week is the way she's continuing to occupy her space. She's not suddenly exploding upward. She's not doing some crazy stretch. She's simply continuing to develop the architecture she's already built. And that's where the tucks come in. Because this week we did a couple of tucks with her. Nothing dramatic. Just helping guide some of that growth and keep her developing comfortably within the space she's been given. And honestly... I really like seeing the difference. A small adjustment here. A little tuck there. And suddenly you can see how the plant's structure is being encouraged to make better use of the available space. It's another example of how sometimes you don't need to do something dramatic. A little guidance. Then let her continue. 🌿👋🍑 ──────────────────────── ? A FEW TUCKS – AND BACK TO LETTING HER WORK ──────────────────────── The tucks were probably the most physical interaction we had with her this week. And that's about it. We're not trying to completely reshape her. We're not trying to force her into a different phenotype. We're simply helping guide what she's already doing. Because I think that's important with this girl. She already has her own rhythm. She's already showing us how she wants to grow. So rather than fighting that... we work with it. That's the whole philosophy. Observe. Understand. Guide when necessary. Then step back. And let the plant do what the plant does. 😂🌱 Passion Fruitz doesn't need us constantly standing over her. She just needs the space to continue being Passion Fruitz. ──────────────────────── 🍑 HER RHYTHM IS HER RHYTHM ──────────────────────── I've said this before... but I think it becomes more important every week. She's slow. And I'm okay with that. Because if she were racing toward the finish line and looking unhappy, that would be a completely different story. But that's not what we're seeing. We're seeing a beautiful plant. Healthy-looking foliage. Strong flowering development. Plenty of fresh pistils. Increasing resin. And a plant that continues to progress. Just... slowly. 😂 She's basically walking while everybody else is jogging. And she's somehow still making it look elegant. 👑🍑 That's Passion Fruitz. ──────────────────────── 💡 THE SAME PHOTONS – HER OWN RESPONSE ──────────────────────── And of course... nothing has changed specifically for her. She's still living in the same 8×8 environment. Same room. Same lighting philosophy. Same general irrigation. Same nutritional foundation. Same environmental conditions. And yet... she continues to give us her own expression. The two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures are now part of the room. We've reduced the output to approximately: 💡 ~59% power from the plug giving us around: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy with the actual intensity changing according to plant height and position. And Passion Fruitz is catching those photons just like everybody else. Her large leaves are intercepting light. Her flowering structures are developing within that illuminated space. And the plant is turning all of that captured energy into continued growth. The photons don't know she's the slow girl. 😂💡 They just arrive. She decides what to do with them. ──────────────────────── ☀️ MORE LIGHTING CAPACITY – NOT MORE WASTE ──────────────────────── I really like what the additional Future of Grow fixtures have brought to this room. We're not running everything at maximum simply because we can. That's not the point. The point is having more capacity. More flexibility. More ability to distribute useful light across this enormous canopy. And then controlling the output to where we actually want it. Around 59% from the plug. Approximately 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy. And that gives the girls plenty to work with. Removing any yellowing bottom leaves from all plants. Blue Afghan has started greening at the top and buds are developing nicely. The Mac N Jack and the cherry garseeya are competing for fastest flowering, buds are gonna be massive and I have a feeling the Blue Afghan will catch up nicely.

8/14 Everything looked beautiful this morning. Seems like I've got the watering schedule down better. I do have one gmo that looks hungry so I need to increase nutes. At least on that plant. Toasted toffy has little spits that could be water marks, pests or septoria. I don't think it's septoria. In the pastvi lost far more leaves when I had septoria. I've been crazy busy. I'm surprised things are going this well. I need to put up the final supports so I can add to them once I've got big heavy buds. I was really stoked to see everything doing so well. The plant in the 50gallon is the furthest in flower. I'm so grateful to have the ability to grow high quality cannabis for myself amd my wife. There's nothing quite like it. That hash I made turned out great. I think I'll press it today. Supports will be done this week. Saw a few aphids on the plant I cut down. Earwigs aren't here this summer or there would be NO aphids. Plus when I cleaned out the insides this morning I found some dead leaves WAY in the middle by the stalk. They would've eaten that shit if they were here. Birds and other predators seem to be keeping pillars at bay. I'm not seeing the damage and when I do sfind one it's absolutely tiny like a newborn. I'll think about whether I need to spray BT. 8/15 That fucking cancel button always fucks everything out. I was done no I need to start over. Didn't water last night. Found pm on my gmo in the 30. Interior of the plant. Should've defoliated better and earlier. Oh well. I'll treat with k bicarb or plant doctor. I'll have to think about it. Other plants are looking good. Well they all are. I just hate pm. I can't isolate it due to local laws so it is what it is. Nothing I haven't dealt with before. Watered today. The middle gmo in the 30 got 1.5 gallons. The other plants each got a gallon. Including the one in the 10gal and 50 gal. Its supposed to rain but only like .1. I also chose to feed today. All plants got a gallon. I DID NOT WATER THE EVENT HORIZON IN THE MIDDLE AND THE SHERB PIE AS THEY WERE PRAYING AND HEAVY. I need to get these supports up. I'll update as I go. Oh and one thing I remembered is that, I didn't properly sanitize the trellis nets I installed on the plant that has pm (non visible today but still). I harvested the plant that used that bet last year was harvested in two stages. The bottom I let go way later and ended up with a little pm on the stuff I left for hash material and it got some pm. I wonder if that's whete this came from. 8/16 Death in the family this morning. I couldn't decide if I should use organocide plant doctor or not. It's a systemic It's been discontinued and reformulated. It's a systemic fungicide. Instead I mixed two tsp potassium bicarbonate with a little dawn in a half gallon mister. I used gloves and defoliated everything that had pm on it. I checked the plants next to it and luckily it hasn't spread yet....but it will. I feel safer using the k bicarb. I'll do more research and try to find the best way to tackle this. I don't want to get rid of the plant and due to local ordinance I can't isolate it. If I can keep it to this one plantvthat would be fine. I'd just use it for extracts. So glad I didn't use all that netting and put up tjosr supports. I'll need to disinfect them if I decide to use them. We'll see. Plants are coming right along flowering. WENT BACK OVER AND DEFOLIATED A BUNCH OF fan leaves and interior stuff to promote airflow. Still saw pm on that plant u had treated earlier with k bicarb. I can't isolate due to laws and I'm not willing to discard this massive monster cropped plant. So I'm going to treat it. I started by removing everything infected and improving airflow on that plant and all the others. I didn't make it to one event horizon. I plan to treat the infected plant with Organocide Plant Doctor since its what I have on hand and I've had good luck. It's a systemic. After I treat the one plant and see that it didn't hurt the plant I'll use a preventative dosage on the other plants. I've battled wpm several times. This is something I'm very familiar with. What sucks is it's totally my fault it happened due to grower error. This has set back me puttingvup my supports as well. Plants look good woth a haircut. Also the toasted toffy had some leaves removed with spots that looked like septoria. I think nutes havecreally kicked things in gear. Now there are little buds on plants. 8/17 BAGS still seemed heavy so I didn't water. It's been MUCH cooler. It's 63 at 9am. It would normally be 80 by now so maybe they aren't using as much water. I watered the the toasted toffy I missed last round but the Sherb Pie still had weight to it. I also watered the GMO on the far side and the one in the 30 as the seemed a little lighter. I looked in and I couldn't find a SPOT of powder mildew on the plant! I know it will come back but on this 100% rh day there isn't a spot I can find! I'm going to go check on them later today. Do some more defoliation and treat the plants with Plant Doctor to try to mitigate the spread of the P.M. Very suprised the k bicarb worked like that. WENT BACK OVER AROUND 11. I WATERED THE TWO THAT DIDNT GET WATERED LAST TIME. THE EVENT HORIZON AND THE SHERB PIE. IT WAS COLD AND OVERCAST. TEMPS HAVE BEEN MUCH COOLER. SOON AS I WATERED THE SUN CAME OHT AND THE TEMP WENT UP. I WENT THROUGH THE PLANTS I MISSED AND SEFOLIATED LEAVES AND INTERIOR BRANCHES TO INCREASE AIRFLOW. SURPRISED TO STILL SEE NO PM WITH 100% HUMIDITY. I WENT THROUGH EVERY PLANT. ILL NEED TO GO TJROUGH AGAIN BUT TJIS IS MUCH BETTER. THE TOASTED TOFFY THAT MAY HAVE SEPTORIA I WILL TREAT TONOGHT WITH PLANT DOCTOR. I REMOVED ANYTHING LOOKING INFECTED. I LSTed THE BIGGEST BRANCHES WITH CLIPS TO THE BAG AMD TWINE. SO AIRFLOW IS MUCH BETTER. I THEN REMOVED A BU CH OF THE MIDDLE. I COULD TAKE MORE BUT ON OUTDOOR HARVESTS THAT LITTLE STUFF GOES IN EXTRACTS. I PUT A FEW HOURS IN TODAY. I did more defoliation on a few different plants. Including the healthiest GMO. It seems like things should be further in flower but it is what it is. I'm not doing clones again. I might just order that. My commercial buddy told me that he wouldn't use the plant doctor and not to "spray shot all over my plants". He's probably right. I see something small and try to overcurrent. I dont see any more septoria looking leaves on the toasted toffy since I lsted it and removed damaged leaves. I was going to use the fungicide plant doctor on that and then use it ad a preventative. He's probably right. I've put a lot of work in defoliation and such. It WILL spread but it hasn't yet. I removed what I saw. I was going to hit it again with k bicarb but it said it should be weekly treatments.i hope I'm doing things right. I shouldn't be this worried about pm but I've got am anxiety disorder. I'll fully sterilize (AGAIN) my posts and trellis netting before I instal it. I'll probably go check on them later. The weather just abruptly changed one day and I go from watering twice a day to hardly at all! Everything but the sherb pie and the seedling in the 10gal are vigorously flowering. Upping the nutes was a smart move. The seemed to like it. I'm gonna check later and as soon as I can I'll hit that toasted toffy with plant doctor. That's tied for furthest along in flower. I MAY NOT HAVE USED ENOUGH OF THE MIXED UP SOLUTION ONVTHE TOASTED TOFFY. IT HAD BEEN WORKING AWESOME AND NOW THAT ITS TIME TO REAPPLY I NOTICE A FEW LEAVES THAT LOOK INFECTED. OVER THE NEXT WEEK ILL BE MONITORING THE RESPONS FROM THE PLANT DOCTOR. I'M CONSIDERING APPLYING PLANT DOCTOR TO THE REST OF THE GARDEN. 8.11.25 Day 105 Day 56 since 12/12 Last night I took off all the fan leave and chopped her before light on today. She smells amazing, sweet and fruity. The entire plant weights 1.25 kg. We will see how much dry weight I get.

Planted the seed straight into the medium, water was PH’d before given to 6.3 and humidity dome placed over the top.

The Bruce bangers are huge and falling under there own weight but no complaints here. They are starting to produce alot of trycomes and put on weight. I'm feeding them 600 ppm every 2 days and they could still use more just worried about burning but so far they are just hungry. I harvested the white widow girl they are hanging and will give a final harvest dry weight when they are dry. 2 of the widows got some good purple but all are fire. 🔥 thanks for looking happy growing and god bless.!

Finally started seeing some baby buds! YES!!! I really start running into issues with humidifier staying on so I've basically gave up on it, at some point around here I added a heater near the inlet fan and it's jumped the temp numbers up quite a bit Some log entries: 1/21: Fed w/ 2 gallons for all 4 15ml big bloom, 10ml grow big and tiger bloom, 2.5ml cleankelp. all units per ga h2o 1/24: Fed w week 7 noots, trimmed 1-4, heavy on 1 & 4

Found large numbers of spidermites as well as some thrips. Luckily all were on my marigold plants, a few had wondered on to my ladies but the issue has been contained with minimal harm to the plants

Had another major defoliation this week to uncover more flowering sites and to help lower the humidity, given a top dress of bat guano too and upped some of the nutrients. Still have more shades of green in there than I would like, as said before all clones from the same mother.. all photos taken day 25 of flower

Starting this week there will be a Mars Hydro VG40 at the bottom to boost the lower buds, they will not be as dense but will be good for some hash that's why I leave them be. Just a quick update: I removed a few more leaves here and there and did one last round of LST (low stress training). 🌿 The plants are looking great, and I'm going to let them recover now before sending them into the flowering stage. I'm really excited to see them start blooming in 2-3 weeks! Also, a quick update on our temperature issue: today, the temperature stayed below 26.8°C, which is great news! However, we still need to find a solution to keep the humidity levels up. Our 360 m³/h exhaust system isn't able to maintain the required humidity level. I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better. Does anyone have tips for a good humidifier or other methods to control the humidity and temperature? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Day 37: Hey everyone! Tomorrow, we're planning to buy some Cal-Mag because we suspect the yellowing leaves might be due to a calcium-magnesium deficiency. We're also going to get a pH test kit to make sure everything is balanced properly. Do you think this is a good idea? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Day 38: Hey everyone! Quick update: it turns out the yellowing leaves were due to a nitrogen deficiency. Another quick update: after increasing the fertilizer yesterday to address the nitrogen deficiency, it should take about 4 to 5 days for the yellow leaves to turn green again. 🌿 We're already seeing improvements! The plants have grown significantly and are developing a dense canopy once more. It's great to see them bouncing back so quickly! Day 41: "Hey everyone! Quick update: we've removed the bands we were using for LST (low stress training) and are now letting the plants grow freely. 🌿 We plan to keep them in the vegetative phase for about one more week before transitioning them to the flowering phase. Excited to see how they continue to develop!"

It is flowering so patience is the name of the game

8/3 Went over to treat the 10th planet that needed water with plant doctor around 10:30. I was in the garden at 6 but didn't have much time. That plant seems to be curled up or "droopy". It DID need water. I defoliated a few sep leaves off it but I didn't see any today. I guess I don't ever really see the leaves "up" or praying like I do with the rest of tge plants. It's starting to flower like the rest though. Today is the day everything is supposed to get its second or third plant doctor dose but I decided to wait until they need the water. I don't think 24hrs will mean much. I've been staying on top of defoliation but I'm seeing some pillar damage. I'd like to spray bt but what my buddy said about spraying with septoria is still in my head. Maybe I can use citric acid. That way it won't "wash away" spores it will just eat them. At least I think. And I hope lol. Birds get most of the pillars but I hand pick some too. I need to pick up nutes. Wondering if I should just get grow big again. I don't use much but plants are switching to flower and leaves are fading. I have big bloom and kool bloom bit neither have nitrogen. I still need some sort of nitrogen. Especially since that could be a deficiency. Not sure if it's the transition or a condition with the sep. I see some interior small leaves bleeding out and some dying. I'm wondering if what I thought was earwig damage years prior was really a combo of sep and they just ate the evidence. I'm super grateful though. I've got some resilient girls and they're doing well. The special kush in flower is gorgeous as well. Looks like I'll have an early plant. Short flowering time on this strain. Smells pungent. 8/4 Treated everything in the garden with plant doctor except the 10th planet I got yesterday. I need to take a closer look at that plant. It rarely looks "happy" like my others. I'll check it again later. 3tsp per gallon and 1gal a plant. The 10s got a half gallon. This seems to be working great. I have some defoliation to do on the tenth planet I was talking about earlier. Everything is in some form of flower. The flowers on that early special kush are getting bigger. I'll update this later.
