~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/7- Here we go with the new addition to the FastBuds family, Papaya Sherbert fem photo. I placed one seed in a glass of lukewarm tap water (non-chlorinated well water). Within 24hrs there was a root beginning to show coming out of the seed. I then placed the seed between two moistened paper towels that I then put in a vented plastic container. I put the container in a dresser drawer where it would be warm and dark. 5/9- When I checked on the seed yesterday, there was a substantial root about 1/2" long coming from the seed. I then planted the seed, root first with just the seed head exposed, in a 2" starter pot filled with peat that I pre-moistened with 6.5ph well water. I placed the starter pot in the bottom of a Solo Cup that I had cut in half. I then placed a clear Solo Cup over it to act as a humidome and placed it under the lights in the grow room. Today the little Papaya Sherbert showed her pretty little self and so begins this journey together with her! 5/12- Two days ago the Papaya Sherbet sprouted her first true leaves and today she's really showing some vigor and some impressive growth! Today I went ahead and transplanted her for the first time into a 2qt pot filled with pre-amended coco/perlite. Before placing the Papaya Sherbet into her new home I coated the hole with Xtreme Gardening MYCOS, then placed the Papaya Sherbet and watered her in. 5/15- One week from breaking ground and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet feminized photoperiod is looking fantastic and doing great with a second set of leaves now out! She's liking her bigger pot and is really beginning to take off now. I should be able to do her final transplant, which will move her outside, next week as our weather is rapidly improving... COntinued to apply small amounts of pressure with LST but aside from that, letting her do her thing. Had to leave her for a few days and she got dehydrated, after a feed she perked up again but she's now started sucking all the nutes out of her lower growth. Here in week 5 she starting to produce little Budlets she's moving fast I'll reamend the soil with some Earth Juice dry nutrients for bloom she gets worm castings Cal Mag and hybrix molasses once a week during this week I'll also drop the light to 20 inches

After a few days of supplementing with co2, the plants grew very quickly

Buds are definitely getting bigger the smell is so stab you in the nose potent it almost makes me sick up close. I really can't believe this is an autoflower that I barley trained. Definitely will be producing anywhere from 80-100g+ by the time its done I think is a good estimate. What I failed to mention in the first update is every branch has outgrown the main cola. It is buried but still growing strong apparently. It's impressive actually it grew like that without training. All those branches will be thicker than the main cola by far they already are. It's got me so excited this plant is frigging huge although short it is wide. It's so big the base of the main stem is probably the size of two fingers and it has roots growing out of all sides and a mess of roots underneath the cloth pot

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Day 29. Things still ticking along nicely. Saw a few leaves on my Sativa dom Pheno exhibiting Ma deficiency so gave an Epsom Salts foliar while Lights out was happening. Also upgraded my mechanism for holding flood pipes in place. Have the girls on Wooden Risers now to allow the bottom of the pots to fully dry and to allow the smart pots to do their thing. They're all starting to fill out a bit now so hopefully not long until flip!

Divine indica is growing great. She has about a week of bulking left. She has some nice fat colas developing. She has a light nitrogen deficiency going on. I am okay with that and did add more when I topped her solution off. She has been very hungry and thirsty. Everything is going really well. I have the light on at around 70 percent durle to avoiding it getting too hot or intense on colas. Trying to anyway.
