Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Last week vegitation

Week 5 flowering for our banana purple punch from fastbuds 420! The buds are starting to get fatter day by day, we continue with our food program. This week again we gave sugar shot, sticky fingers, bloom booster, silica, amino and master root all from xpert nutrients. All good at the moment 🤗

Grow in super soil these autos have really packed on the weight! They’ll be getting chopped down in a few days! These phenos got super dense nugs and keep swelling

Plant is still tiny, grew 5cm / 2". It looks like it's slowly dying. The original leaves at the bottom went brown so I removed them. Some of the upper ones don't look great either. It's not a calcium deficiency. The bottom of the pot was very dry so I rinsed the soil with plain water. The dryness is the result of: A) me having to add a heater B) the blumat auto watererers focussing the wanter in specific areas. The roots clump around the waterers thus everything else drys up. I need to water directly from now on and look to fix this problem going forward.

Low stress training has began to 5 of my plants and i will do the rest of them in this week. Grow running perfect with good conditions. Plants are looking heathly and respond well to my nutrients, and i will start to incrense the nutrients i am giving to the plants. Watering 0.5 L water each plant every day for this week with the following nutrients 4L Water with Micro Grow Bloom B52 VoodooJ Rhino Tarantula 1ml 1ml 1ml 1ml 1ml 1ml 1ml

Looks great, she's gaining nicely. But could take another 2 weeks before ready. Clones failed, they were already flowering, but was taking them off anyway I'm speculating her to be a 40gr-plant 🤞🤞🤞 Trichomes getting ready, too soon! Starting a few amber trichomes, still little amount, got some time, but will cut her soon, she's not the thickest 😞 could have been a lot worse though. Will have a few weeks extra to the stash 25/11 still mostly white overall

I highly recommend this strain to anybody who want a crop full of flavours , be careful about the smell , it can be hard to keep it stealth at the end of flowering and the drying weed is smelling from the kitchen to the garden ( and it's drying in the bedroom with Mrs Spinner beeing hungry at me every single days 🤘🤗

This strain has smelled dank from the moment her first crystals arrived, just like having a few oz GSC laying around. She's currently drying and there has been no grassy hay smell to cure off like usual. My dry room just stinks like Girl Scout Cookies
