Day 56 - Easy goings. Large and in charge. Flower is fully under way. Really wonder what this one would have done under a larger light that would let it spread out more. Sitting at around 38 inches tall at this point, 49 inches wide.

Day one of Early Veg For these Hydroponic systems. . . . The water pump for the aeroponic system was blocked from running. . . We adjusted some materials for the system to work more effectively. . . . Due to the water pump running without a chiller, the water temp was at 33C which is much too high. . . . We set the pump on a timer that will turn on for 15 minutes every hour. . . . We also turned on the AC to cool down the room. . . . Hopefully with all of this, the aeroponic system will be running with little to no problems . .

Okkkkkkkay, i fucked up a little over the past weeks but sometimes keeping everything together is hard. But I managed to fix her, fresh water change, new nutrients and new Training so she can spread a little wider and also gave her a little trim. So pH is 5.5-5.8 DLI is at 30. i wanted to turn it down a little because she was looking really sad. but she is finally recovering, new growth is a nice green color. Having her this long in veg is really weird haha

I’m going to leave the seedlings in the small brown pots until their 1st node and then I’ll transfer them into bigger plastic 3.5gal pots with 80/20 soil to perlite potting mix. One Dosidos is looking a bit behind and the one with the weird leaves ended up catching up to the Northern Lights, maybe even growing faster than it. All Dosidos’ ended up dying but one and I’m sure it’s on the way out. Northern Lights has had no issues and growing perfect.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. These clones were mixed up & are either Orange sherbet or Tropicana cookies or they could be both! Unfortunately from experience growing them before they are very hard to tell apart untill late flowering. Originally grown in DWC ,all 3 got root rot at one stage Due to extremely high temps around 35°c. Had them in a 4x8 tent, running a 6 Inch adjustable speed exhaust fan which couldn't get temps lower than 33°c in our summer heat of 40°c days & nights! Moved back into 4x4, fan works good in this size tent reduces temps 28° to 31° max. Had to cut out rotten roots on back 2 plants & put them back into veg for 2 weeks until they came good, I also took them out of DWC & put them into recirculating hydro & put back into flower. Since then they have really taken off & are very healthy & lush. The 3rd plant at the front is 4 weeks into flower this one also got root rot at a different time, but I left this one in flower. I trimmed the root rot out & have had some issues with her, I also changed her from DWC to recirculating hydro as it's more forgiving in the heat & it's how I've always grown until recently doing DWC without problems in the past. All the bigger shade leaves have turned yellow, not sure if it's still something to do with root rot or a deficiency of some sort. Just trying to get this one over the line at this point 🤞🙏 increased light wattage from 480 to 730watts running 2 viper spectra lights (250watt) inside my Mars Hydro FC-E 4800.

Paper towels placed between two dinner plates, placed on heating mat. 48 hours all seeds had tap roots. Placed in solo cups filled with coco loco, and sprinkled a little Great White in the holes. All seeds sprouted with in 36 hours. 76-78 degrees with 80% humidity. 100% Germination - AMAZING! #nomids

Puede ser falta de calcio, potasio, magnesio...no lo se. Les he echado uns buena dosis de potasio y las que están más afectadas les he echado sgua limpia y un poco de potasio. -una de las GG le falta poco para cortar. El resto les quedará poco menos de un mes

10 semanas desde germinación día 11 de abril hasta corte viernes 25 de junio (día 69 corte) cultivada en maceta de 11 litros con tierra plagron all mix, inicio de floración en semana 5, día 20 de mayo

Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

Day 22 25/07/24 Thursday Still no Feed/water since Tuesday. Been a humid and overcast two days so not as much evaporation as normal. All plants happy and healthy 💚 Video updates Day 23 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update. Day 26 29/07/24 Monday Nice feed today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. They each had 300ml with small run off. All looks incredibly happy and healthy! The Auto Kabul that was mutated and twisted has pulled herself through and is just a bit shorter than the others. Day 28 31/07/24 Wednesday End of week😁 De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚
