🍮 Chem Brûlée – Pheno B Week 5 | A Different Rhythm, The Same Beautiful Journey Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! One of the greatest joys of running a phenotype hunt is watching two sisters grow side by side while revealing completely different personalities. Same genetics. Same environment. Same lighting schedule. Nearly identical nutrition. Yet each plant chooses her own path. Chem Brûlée Pheno B is proving exactly that. Although she shares many similarities with her sister, she’s writing a story entirely her own. ⸻ 🌱 How We Got Here For anyone joining this diary for the first time, this entire project is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed technique. Instead of providing a long vegetative period before switching the lights, the plants receive a 12 hours on / 12 hours off light cycle from the very beginning of life. This allows every phenotype to decide naturally when it’s mature enough to begin flowering. Some start earlier. Others prefer to spend a little more time building themselves before making that transition. That’s exactly what makes this project so fascinating. Nature decides. I simply provide the environment and let each plant express herself. ⸻ 🌼 Week One of Flower Although we’re now five weeks from seed, this marks what I’m considering Week One of Flower for Chem Brûlée Pheno B. The transition is now undeniable. Fresh white pistils are appearing across the growing tips, signalling that the plant has officially entered her reproductive phase. Over the coming weeks these tiny white hairs will multiply rapidly, forming the foundation for the flowers that will eventually cover the canopy. This is where the magic really begins. ⸻ 🍃 Big Leaves, Beautiful Health Just like her sister… The first thing that catches your eye is those incredible fan leaves. They’re huge. Wide. Deep green. Full of life. Healthy fan leaves are the engines powering everything that comes later, capturing light and converting it into the energy needed to build stems, roots and eventually dense, resin-covered flowers. Looking across the canopy, she’s showing exactly the kind of vigorous growth I hope to see during this stage. There is one damaged leaf visible in this week’s photographs. That one is entirely my fault. Sometimes, while working around the plants, accidents happen. Fortunately, it’s nothing more than cosmetic damage. The rest of the plant continues looking exceptionally healthy, and one damaged leaf certainly won’t slow her down. ⸻ 🌿 Gentle Training Training continues to remain intentionally simple. Rather than forcing the plant into unnatural shapes, I’m using gentle Low Stress Training, carefully bending and repositioning growth to improve light distribution throughout the canopy. Leaf tucking also remains part of the daily routine whenever needed. Small adjustments performed consistently usually produce better long-term results than aggressive training all at once. The goal isn’t to control the plant. The goal is simply to help every future flower receive as much light as possible. ⸻ 🌡️ This Week’s Environment The environment continues providing ideal conditions for this stage of development. This week’s averages included: • Day temperature: 31.1°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 67% • Nutrient solution: 24.2°C • Root zone: 21°C • CO₂: 639 ppm Humidity remains intentionally a little higher while the plants are still stretching and producing fresh vegetative growth. As flowering progresses and buds begin to stack, humidity will gradually be reduced to provide the ideal conditions for healthy flower development. Watching the room evolve each week has been incredibly satisfying. Every update feels like another step closer to seeing this full canopy covered in flowers. ⸻ 📸 This Week’s Photos This week’s update includes a variety of different perspectives, including bird’s-eye views, side profiles, detailed close-ups, and room shots documenting her progress from every angle. I always enjoy photographing plants this way because every perspective tells a slightly different story. From above, you can appreciate the canopy. From the side, you can see the structure. The number of white pistils should increase significantly as flower formation accelerates, and the plant will begin directing more energy toward building future bud sites. Training will remain gentle and minimal, allowing her natural structure to develop while simply improving light penetration where necessary. Vamos familia sexta semana de floración de estás apollo black cherry de SeedStockers. Que ganas tengo de ver el progreso de esta variedad, las plantas están sanas, se ven con buen color. La cantidad de agua cada 48h entre riegos. Esta semana añadimos nutrientes de la gama Agrobeta. Las plantas están bastante bien subió algo la temperatura esta semana pero por el momento no les afectó, a ver si consigo bajar un poco la temperatura estas próximas semanas y acabamos todo bien. Me pasé de mano con la comida pero solucionaré con agua destilada en un riego. Estas próximas semanas veremos como avanzan y como engordan las flores. Semaine 2 de la végétation, purple shine arrivé à 4étage de feuilles , ça va être le moment de lui appliquer la première taille. Dans son air pot 1L purple shine développe un joli réseau de racinaires. Le 15/04 première taille application+ application foliaire de geisha, au lendemain de la taille purple shine semblait aller très bien l'apport foliaire geisha lui a fait un grand bien. Cette seconde semaine de végétation purple shine a commencé a profiter de tout les nutriments de croissance contenu dans la gamme terra samouraï de @shogun(terragrow, katanaroot, silicon, calmag, geisha foliar)

No complaints this week. All the ladies are growing strong and healthy I have my 2nd trellis positioned exactly 12 inches a part from the 1st trellis. As you can see. There are many Colas that are over a foot long. I do believe that I will yield more from this harvest than the last. Only time will tell. I will keep yall updated in my next upload, Happy growing 🍃😎

Servus Also die Woche hab ich big geupgradet und mir einen neuen Wasserbefeuchter geholt der ist aber auf grund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit direkt kaputt gegangen 💀 Aufgrund dieser unkontrolierbarkeit der Luftfeuchtigkeit in einem so kleinen Raum hab ich dann eine recht effektive Box in meinen Schrank gebastelt (achso kleiner seiteneinschub PC Lüfter egal wie alt sind super einfach am ein altes USB Kabel anschließen und alles ist in sane ) Zu dem habe ich LST betrieben bei jeder Pflanze mit einem individuellen "Förderplahn". Zu dem habe ich alle mit einem "wurzeldünger" gegossen (widentrieben mit Wasser püriert und dann nach 20 Minuten wieder rausgesucht(also wenn ihr grüne kleine Dinge auf dem Boden seht ist das (bisjetzt) kein schimmel)) Habe auf der in dem großen und bemalten Topf irgendwelche spinnenweben und kleine rote Fischer gefunden hab davon schonmal irgendwas gehört und die schnell weggeräumt habe an den darauf folgenden Tagen keine roten Punkte mehr gesehen Kann mir irgendwer beantworten wie weit eine Pflanze ca zum toppen sein muss? Will das nicht zu früh machen um die Pflanze nicht unnötig zu belasten aber auch nicht wenn die Blüte schon los geht und ich habe angst das ich dieses interval verpasse Hab heute am 9. Endlich meine Erde bekommen und habe umgetopft dabei sind mir leider alle stammwurzeln abgebrochen weil mein erdmix in den tontöpfnen geklebt habt wie angetrocknetes essen (2 der Töpfe haben das umtopfen nicht überstanden )ich hatte mich für tontöpfe auf grund der Verfügbarkeit und der überlegenen luftzirkulation entschieden werde das aber nicht wiederholen insofern noch umgetopft werden soll 2 von den Pflanzen werden eventuell nocheinmal umgetopf weil sie erst in 5 l Töpfen sind (auf pastik) für die andere habe ich direkt einen 7 l tontopfgefunden das sollte denke ich reichen Was sagt ihr reichen die 5 l Töpfe oder denkt ihr ich sollte auch hier noch auf 7 aufstocken Achso die Erde ist die haferde von sonnenerde diese scheint mir ein gutes Gesamtpaket mit guter preißleißtung zu sein wird sich ja noch zeigen aber die Konsistenz und wasserbindenden Fähigkeiten sagen mir jetzt schon sehr zu Zu dem hab jch das LST unter brechen das der bruch der stammwurzel wahrscheinlich genug stress ist Wie fatal ist es das die stammwurzel gebrochen ist ? Habe zu dem nochmal diesen "weidentee" gegossen in der Hoffnung das das den Wurzeln beim regenerieren hilft setzt euch gerne auf einen Gartenstuhl und genießt den Anblick wie ein Anfänger alles neu lernt und alles altbekannten Fehler wiederholt oder mit einfachsten Mitteln beste Blüten florierenlässt Achso zu dem ist einer der USB Lüfter auf einer der Ladys gefallen die ist aber so eine kannte das der Lüfter einfach stehen geblieben ist (konnte wirklich egal wie gut ich gesucht habe keine Verletzungen an der Pflanze finden) also füttern richtig fest machen denn wenn der über seine eigentlichen 16 und nicht nur über die 5 volt USB verfügt hätte hätte ich jetzt eine 5gk salatschüssel in der fast nur Erde ist und das wollen wir ja nicht LG eure Herz Damen

Hello Growmies, The ladies are doing good. Still drinking 5 liters a day. Stopped giving Nitrogen this week bc PH kept falling to 4,2 plus they are kind of dark green (Tropicanna Banana for shure) so I cut N out and gave more PK 13/14 for bud development. Outside temps are still in my favor so I still got that cold dry air in my apartment. Hope that lasts for the next 3 weeks. Not running in any major problems.

It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

Today is 11/7/18. Watered GDP #1 and bagseed #1 today with nutes....... I am going to post these pics as a reminder for myself and as a leraning tool for anyone that like visuals. I am learning that these babies can be thirst buckets...I was making sure I don't do the newbie mistake of over watering...well, underwateringcan be just as bad. I been watering apprx. every 2 days...but this is what happens when I don't ...they end up frowning and hugging the pots. But I was informed, the smaller the pot, the more frequent I will have to water. They are in 1 gallon pots...The roots are not visible through drain holes; therefore, I haven't transplanted into 2/3 gallons. Today is 11/8/18, I decided I will be transplanting GDP #1 and Bagseed #1 into 2 gallon pots. They did fully recover from dehydration. GDP#2 will remain in the 1 gallon pot for a lil while unless roots start appearing through drain holes. This plant has been tempermental from day 1. I don't understand why one side of the plant responds well to any training I have done (lst, manifold, topping, etc): howerever, the other side seems to have problems and take awhile to recover. It was suggested to throw it away long ago....I am a new grower and I felt I should keep it as a plant I can LEARN from, which I have learned a great deal. Today is 11/9/18. watered thoroughly because I didnt when I transplanted. Defoliated Bagseed #2. Today was photo day. Today is 11/11/18, I did a moderate defoliation. Today is 11/12/18, watered w/nutes only. Today is 11/14/18, watered with cal-mag only. Today will water with nutes and after tonights lights end their 18 hour light cycle, 12/12 will begin.

Parece que ha terminado de estirar. Practico una defoliación intensa para airear los futuros cogollos y dejar mas espacio en el cuarto de cultivo. Agrupo de nuevo las macetas en su lugar optimo para asi rellenar por completo la carpa @marshydro. Me quedé algo corto de nutrientes pero estoy muy contento con los resultados, cada vez le voy encontrando mas su punto optimo. Siempre es mejor quedarse corto que pasarse.

Vamos actualizar la séptima semana de floración de estas Biscotti de RoyalQueenSeeds. Un SOG que empezó mal pero que se ven con un buen color y avanzan progresivamente, se marcan un color increíble y las flores van formándose, así que a estar atentos. La humedad es perfecta, la temperatura la e podido corregir y ya la tenemos 22 grados. Añadi la base, Blue line B de Agrobeta. Esta semana añadí tucán, silver, mega Pk, tricoma, explotacogollos y terminator también de Agrobeta. Estoy controlando el ph está alrededor de 6- 6,5. Normalmente riego cada 24 horas y más o menos cada planta está tragando 1 litro de agua en cada riego. Vamos viendo cómo progresan estas últimas semanas.
