This week has been one of great gains in both size and vegetation we have seen a vertical leap in two plants that is astronomical almost 4 inches in a week! Had to do some pruning to expose new bud and a little bit of low stress training on to plants to see if we can expose light to the underside and perhaps get a little more love out of our lower buds The stalk size on almost all of these plants is almost as big as your thumb but on one it is actually relatively skinny that is the one we’re doing the low stress training on we just started the low stress training and it is taking very well to it One of these plants is extremely dark in color on the vegetation and has typically about 11 fingers per leaf! Not sure what that means yet

Flower week 2 ! She is doing amazing, tallest plant in the tent, she is much happier now with lower water moisture levels. She is growing super fast, every day she puts in weight ! Very happy with this one !

She grows a bit every week. Can't wait for take off. I had a hard time dialing in the environment, but now she is doin much better.

Really surprised with how everyone turned out! Everyone is starting to flower but Kayla definitely got the lead in terms of pistils and bud sites. These ladies still need to be LST every other day. Looking forward to an early harvest!

Week one after germination and these girls are growing about how I would expect. Not much to report on in the early weeks but we have started the alfalfa Ferment so they will definitely be taking off! They still have another week or two before we start the Athena blended but I'm pretty excited to see how well the Athena does....and these seeds of course. This plant has recovered from nutrient deficiency and is growing great. Doing lst everyday and plant is responding great. This is going to be a big girl. Still no signs of flower. The other NL from growers choice I grew took forever to flower also. Monday update - did a little defoliation. Looks a little thin. Should get fuller in a few days

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. (Day 65) - From this point on the plants will be getting nothing but PH'd water and a weekly dose of Real Growers "Recharge". I know that this practice is controversial and that there have been studies that show no appreciable benefit of doing so however, I am at the very least saving on very expensive nutes and reducing the overall amount of nutes being consumed. I expect that Ghost Toof and Mephisto's Wedding will likely take 85 days to finish fully and a 20 day flush might seem extreme but these plants have been given an excess of nutes for a long time before I adjusted their feeding schedule. I believe this will make for a better product once dried and cured. We shall find out.

Veg Week 4 Day 28 to 34 - 4/24 to 4/30 A lot more to talk about this week. It's time to start the AutoPot resevoir feed, 2nd Topping, and Wire Training I waited until I saw 3 new nodes of growth (day 29) and then I topped those branches back to the first node leaving a stump for the new nodes to grab as they swell in growth. The branches are quite more stretched than I am used to, so a break is required on the Y branches as they thicken up. I tried not to break the skin and used knitting needles to smash the branches where I wanted them to bend. All went well. I then used ties to the soil to hold them down while they turn back up to the lights. By the end of the week I moved the wire ties to anchor on the main stem instead of the soil Feed this week was a reservoir feed of 200ppm total before add-ins. I used 200ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and then added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). I then also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 6.1 Feed plan next week will be a another ph decrease and nute increase. One was more bushy and was a little behind. As I said, they had some heat stress and I think the 15-liter pots are too small when the environment is hotter. Still, they are totally worth growing and joy to smoke. They don't need much curing and the weed is very very strong. Going to try this strain again very soon!!

Well am happy with the outcome and the way I grew it. I might do things slightly different next time. Be more proactive instead of reactive. 4.65 oz was the total weight (dried + trimmed) Smoked a little already before curing and was such a smooth and clean hit. No harshness in my throat and it was a clean high but more of a head high. That should change after a few weeks of curing in jars but nonetheless a comfortable high!

These ladies were heavy yielding - just wish the PK booster did not stunt them, I feel they could have even been larger, the buds are sweet and sticky, they smell amazing, they are hard and resinous - they have a beautiful mix of dark and light shades of green with bright orange hairs, very pretty, my friends are already in love with this weed, hits you like a Sativa and as the high lingers mellows like an Indica, I can't, wait to grow this again! The is an urban legend that occasionally a purple strain emerges, and when it does the outcome is legendary, just another reason to try this strain!
