Week 3 of flower So we had a power outtage due to a storm that came through. Lost power from 10a-6p which is most of my day cycle. So there is that. The plants looks really well. Noticed a bit of spotting so I added some cal/mag with my last watering. Buds are hella frosty you can definitely see the Banana Butter cups coming through. The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Had a small issue this week where temp dropped a bit, I was on vacation for a few days and a window got left open to the room the tent is in. The room got down to 62f with the lights on. lights off temp wasn't much cooler. I noticed some canoeing on leaves near the center of the room, I am hoping this was just caused by the temperature stress that happened by the sudden drop. I fixed the temp and issue and it should be back to normal. Trichome's look great under microscope. Getting tightly packed and very cloudy, very little amber color at this point. Cheese #1 Has swelled up quite a bit over the last 5 days, The buds on it are noticeably larger than the ones on Cheese #2 I have moved the led light to cast more on cheese #2 in hopes to get the buds on it to catch up to #1 Still dealing with small calcium deficiencies, I will do a light flush this week of 1/2 strength nutrients and Cal at 6.5 Mid Weekupdate: Flushed plants with 1/3rd nutrient dose and full strength cal mag. Adjusted ph. to 6.5 to allow for better uptake of calcium. The calcium issue isnt bad just some small spotting but I am trying to get ahead of it as there is supposed to be 4 weeks left on the strain. The buds have started to tighten and get more dense. Hairs are about 40% red, some are receding into the bud. Smells like citrus.

Papaya sherbet really doesn’t like to be drenched. She likes her pot to stay more dry but she is a beautiful specimen top for days. Still trying to dial her nutrients in. She’s a picky eater but fire genetics. I grew the papaya Auto flower and loved it so cannot wait to see how the papaya sherbet turns out. 💪🔥

Day 58, 7th of November 2020: The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12... I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plant remains in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... Amazing really really beautiful lady this one....strech is on the way..... 😅 Nice smell Inreally like this strong stable genetics. Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;) ;)

No bug or disease problems. I even took her off veg nutes way too soon and she recovered like a fucking champ. I’m popping two more this week. Unfortunately i didn’t weigh it because Of some very unfortunate circumstances that I was dealing with at the time. I essentially had to vacate my premise within 24 hours. A few days after harvest. Anyways. I ended up smoking the whole thing with my friends and it was straight fire. The terps were crazy also. Super sweet. After curing she had a very sweet smell like bubblegum / grape. This was only my second harvest ever.

Week 8, Day 51, Day21 bloom, Cosmic Queen has leaf droop from lac of water. She is using more water than the Stomper so I watered 1-1/2 gal to Forum Stomper, almost 2gal to Cosmic Queen PH6.3, 5ml/gal Cal/Mag, 0.5ml/gal Orca. Queen came back up next morning. Day 53 made 4gal Worm Tea; 3tbls Molasses, 2cups Worm castings, 1cup Coffee Chaff, 3bags Green Tea, 5ml/gal Cal/Mag, 10ml/gal Seaweed/Fish extract, 0.5ml/gal Orca, aerated 24hrs. Day54, Bloom24 watered both with worm tea 1-1/2gal to Forum Stomper, 2gal to Cosmic Queen. Added 2nd DIY Co2 bottle and run to both circulation fans.

Started Training Late! Was on summer holiday for a week and only started training now. Above are the plants during training as well as a few hours after training. Autos are definitely more delicate and the two runts are growing slow but yet still showing some progress. Changed my bulbs back to the CMH set to 400w each (2) Also gave them a good amount of water as the FloraCaps aren’t covering the whole pot I felt like it was necessary to wet the entire grow medium well for a change. Some of them were a bit far along for training but I did the best I could. Also the Purple Lemonade and 2 other plants are showing signs of flowering.

Rolling into week 7. Time to dial down the nutes and start my UVB regiment. I use Reptisun 10.0 bulbs due to LED UV's giving far less than optimal performance. Reptisun 5.0 bulbs work 2. I only run them from week 7 to flush and for only 3 hours a day within the current light cycle. Update day 45: After doing a trichome check, it finished EARLY!! Time to do a quick flush then harvest. I was going to add the nutes to the fresh water today 😂😂

Get ready for some serious bloom action! 👌🏻 Day 14: Keeping the momentum rollin' with the light at 25%, hitting 420 PPFD from a cozy 50cm distance, maintaining that solid DLI of 32 over a full 24 hours. Hydrated with 300ml of pH 6.5 water, plus a mix of power root and terra grow to keep the roots happy. Day 15: Steppin' up the game with the light at 25%, now hittin' 470 PPFD from just 30cm away, bumpin' up the DLI to 40 over 24 hours. Same hydration routine, 300ml of pH 6.5 water with power root and terra grow. Day 16: Keepin' it consistent, light still at 25% with 470 PPFD from 30cm, rockin' that DLI of 40 over 24 hours. Watered 'em with 300ml of pH 6.5 goodness, along with power root and terra grow. Day 17: Time to crank it up a notch! Light's now at 50%, hittin' a hefty 850 PPFD from that 30cm distance, with a DLI of 50 over 20 hours. Gave 'em a double dose of hydration, 2x 300ml of pH 6.5 water, along with power root, terra grow, and a touch of pure zym for that extra boost. Day 18: Let 'em chill today, no watering needed, just letting them soak up that light and grow! Day 19: Back at it with the light at 25%, now hitting 610 PPFD from 30cm, maintaining that DLI of 50 over a full 24 hours. Gave 'em a good drink with 400ml of pH 6.5 water, plus the usual power root, terra grow, and pure zym combo. Day 20: Steppin' it up again, light's now at 50% with 800 PPFD from 30cm, rockin' that 24-hour cycle. Hydrated 'em with 2x 500ml of pH 6.5 water, plus the whole shebang power of PLAGRON root, terra grow, and pure zym. Can't wait to see what the next few days bring. The plant is ok, we are near the harvest. Because she is the smallest , she drinks less than the others plants I have. Also I've done some research for my problem, and I'm gonna wash the buds. I have read a lot of opinions and all the people that at first were sceptical, say that now they doing it all the time, so I'm gonna try it! If the flavour and the overall experience is good, I'll do it also on my gorilla. And what's your opinion on "bud washing"? Let me know in the comments! Here the weather is gonna be bad for the next days so I'm a lil worried because I'm so near the harvest and I'don't want to fck up things now.
