Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing amazing! TickTockCroc is back for another grow! ┏(＾0＾)┛ Last time, I did a Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies grow in my closet using a small pot. Yielded 22g dry weight (lol). Didn't do any ph monitoring or temperature control until later. This time... I'm determined to do it better! For this grow I will be doing: 2 x Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies 2 x Fastbuds Gelato I AM DOING A SEPARATE DIARY FOR EACH STRAIN. THIS DIARY WILL ONLY BE UPDATING PROGRESS WITH THE GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! For this set-up, I decided to get a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2.0m tent and a carbon filter with fan. Also using fabric pots instead of plastic. For lights I'm using my old 600W Viper LED. I love this set-up!! This diary is starting on Day 7 from seed for the GSC. They just got moved to the tent yesterday (had to wait for it in the mail, got excited and germinated seeds too soon lol) and so they were in the closet until then. There has been no fan to circulate air or remove heat, and I think that's why the first set of leaves are curling a bit. Annoyingly, I have to wait for distilled water to arrive in the mail so I can calibrate my PH meter, so have not been able to ph adjust water. It has had one watering of evian water so far, so hopefully thats OK. I am using BioBizz Light Mix soil and using BioBizz nutrients. I will update which specific nutrients when I can. Take care for now, folks! *EDIT* DAY 10 UPDATE: I've uploaded a day 10 video update! So today is day 10 and I fed them their first feed yesterday. I've added the nutrient details to the diary. They seem to be LOVING it. I also noticed some pale spots on some leaves - perhaps exterior nute burn as I splashed the leaves by accident. We'll see.

Damnnnn this was so nice im going to grow it twice 😂 Day 1-26/04/22 I’ve placed 22 of the 25 seeds in glass of water for 24hours!!!!! - Day 2-27/04/22 seed been placed on wet paper towel!!!! - Day 3-28/04/22 most of them have popped gonna start putting them in soil today and tomorrow. - Day 6-01/05/22 nearly all of them have popped out the soil 20 of the 22 so hopefully the other two are out by tomorrow!!! - Day 7-02/04/22 everything looking good will start giving them abit of root juice tomorrow 21 of the 22 are out. 1 is still behind we will see if ur comes out tomorrow!!!!

Here we go again. 2 criticals, bubba Cbd, and dinamed(from left to right) Still alot of work to be done to finalize the grow room. I now have to replicate this setup on the far side of the room only deeper, for flowering. The setup was built with diversity in mind. I should be able to switch to almost any recirculation style hydro in a matter of hours.

On Feb 24 applied LST, girls responded perfectly. Leaves tucking on daily basis. 2 watering with 1L each on Feb 24th (half nutrients dose) and second one on Feb 28 alongside with 2 foliar feedings(100ml water and fish mix). So far this grow is just a pure joy. Both girls are strong and healthy. Nun bin ich in der siebten Woche sie ist in der letzten Woche und gute 10 cm gewachsen die Blätter sind sehr schön Und grün auch so macht sie einen guten Eindruck die Seiten arme kommst sehr schön heraus und sie wächst und wächst, heute am 24. September habe ich sie gedüngt mit Green House Bio Grow empfohlen werden 3-5g Substrat pro Liter da mein Topf 2 Liter hat habe ich heute 6g als öbeeflächendüngung einmassiert. Außerdem habe ich enhancer benutzt und auch hier als oberflächendüngung. Es sind 0,5 Gramm pro Liter da ich 2 Liter habe benutze ich ein Gramm heute jedoch habe ich ca 0,5 g auf die Oberfläche gestreut und dann nach gegossen noch schaue mal ob sich das bewährt.

Week 5 the girls are packing on size day by day The feeding has definitely picked up they are dinking about 18 gals of water every day to two days The gorilla cookies and 2 of orange cookies are nice and tall at the 51.5 inch mark The wedding cheesecakes are short, squat, and loaded with some sweet creamy cake smelling buds they are about 33-38 inches tall The smelling it the room is truly amazing fruits and pies is what it hits my nose like lol

Back on track today is Day 35. In the past I have fed lightly I dont like burnt tips but with the variety of strains in this grow with the co2 I bumped it up a little. Some strains like the Polar Vortex 6 are much more sensitive than some others so it was unavoidable. Other than the tips they are all doing pretty well. The Cherry kush mints in the 4x8 in my eyes is clearly a beast it had the shortest veg time and caught up to most of the big girls. Also its development has been impressive with a unique terp profile at this stage. The sleeper is the garlicane 5. I've grown most of these once or twice before but with the upgrades and the co2 that one has developed nicely and looks like it will put on some serious weight. Bonus material- my cannabutter pics. No smoke report for a while but I can give you an edibles report in a few hours 😂 Plant #1 suffered gravely and thus was harvested early, dried, and turned into beaaautiful butter/edibles hehe. The rest of it is box drying and I'll be doing the same with that. The top of the plant (first harvest of sorts, after bud rot discovered) was 49g dry, not inc ofc what was binned. I'll let you know the dry weight of the rest but no point giving you a smoke report. She was cut early and suffered a looooot The purple lemonade began as the underdog and quickly took over as my #1 babe. It was far more resilient to environmental conditions and changes- and let's not forget that they went through a hurricane with me and power out for a few days! I don't find her strong on the nose at all despite how big some of her buds are, and how frosty. Very piney, and that dominates everything else. Very excited to see what terps come out more in the cure though- I hear great things about this strain. She was cut today and is hanging in a dark closet with small fan, RH 65% and temp 22c. I did not take a wet weight, but she's heavy. Super looking forward to smoking this one, after a few more weeks of TLC... Sigh. Always we try to wait haha. I will report back when I have more for you all. Thanks to everyone that answered my questions and supported me through my first grow. I've definitely got the bug now and there'll be no stopping me haha Will be back with smoke report and dry weights laterrr 🇨🇦 --- Nov 12 - Plant dried for 6 days. It is a lot airier than I thought it was going to be, so most of it ended up as shake for edibles or something. I ended up with 38g of big bud, 33 of smaller, and over 40g of larf and shake. Even the big buds are airy though, not dense at all. A little disappointing for sure, but I made a lot of mistakes so it isn't a surprise. It is now in jars with humidity packs and I'll report back in a couple of weeks or so with a smoke report :)

Hi everyone! It's my first time on GrowDiaries and I am super stocked about it! Will be growin some badass strains from Russian original breeder-seedbank Kalashnikov Seeds. All seeds germinated perfectly and I can't wait to put them all in soil right away.

Was a pretty smooth week for most the girls. Showing some steady growth. I topped all of the plants around day 12 other than the slurricane 7. Ph got a little high since the nutrient level was too low to buffer it at the beginning of the week. Slurricane 7 and sugar cane are the ones that took some damage. I think they will be ok though. I upped the nutrients to 1/4 tsp per gallon and the ph has held stable since then. Should be able to start some training the middle of next week and looks like we might be going 2 more weeks on veg before flipping them to flower depending on how this upcoming week goes. Guess you will have to show up next week to find out...

Oh, I am nervous. Its my first time in a long time...…. hopefully this doesn't end as bad as the first time these feelings came up. Very quick and very disappointing.😅 11/26- At around 7:30pm these autos got put into Ice Mountain Spring Water temped to 68 degrees. After just 3 hrs 2 have already sunk to the bottom. 11/27- Its been 12 hrs and all but 1 of the Cinderella Jack have dropped. 11/27- The last straggler sunk after 18 hours. At around noon, I transferred the seeds into paper towels. Then put the paper towel into small baggies. 11/29- Seeds have been germinating in paper towels for around 30 hrs. They are starting to show taproots. The Fastbuds are just that FAST. They were showing taproots in under 12 hrs. One was over a half inch. 11/29- At around 6pm, I transferred these little ladies into a cup and a half of some naked Happy Frog and placed in the germination dome. 11/30- At 2:30am these gals got their first dose of light. Since I'm a born again grow-virgin and have never messed with autoflowers. I'm going to just keep the traditional 18/6 lighting schedule. 11/30- With less than 6 hours of light I already have 2 sprouted around 1 inch. The Fastbuds green crack seeds seem to be outperforming the others. The Dutch Passion seeds are performing too but the Fastbuds are impressive. Note: These seeds are germinating under a 7.83hrz frequency. It is coming from a small 4" subwoofer connected to 2 small speakers hung in the top corner of my tent. I plan to continue though to harvest. My thinking that if our goal is to mimic the conditions outdoors why not amplify everything we can. 7.83hrz is the natural frequency omitted by the earth and can be nothing but beneficial. To my research it should help the plant develop on a molecular level.

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success !
