Using the scrogg net was a good idea, wluld have overgrown orherwize, its eating alot, trying to keep up, some minor spots showing on random older leafs, but nothing except that maybe a bit tiny leafs. But the budsites omg, one plant and all this, doesnt account for all the buds below the net you cant see, its föowers all the way down and they seem to get enough light, truly a monster plan.t. Changed bath added calmag, and it ate .3 ec over night, dunno if thats good or bad, my humidofier broke so laying wet towels lol.. I sowed cantaloupe bag seeds directly to flower box drip irrigation.I transplanted my white widow seedling to flower box. So the new line up this run is cantaloupe, blueberry, Girl Scout cookies and white widow. Cantaloupe seeds sprouted and i will keep the most vigorous grower.bb is throwing pistils.GSC is producing first set of true leaves. At the end of week 2 cantaloupe has first leaves so does white widow. My Gsc has first set of true leaves and my blueberry is putting out pistils and trichs.Things are going well

Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. Responded really well to the bloom nutients. Massive stretch and so many bud sites. I will defoliate at the end of the week and LST as needed. Defolitated, removed smaller buds at the bottom. The bud stacking and volume of this strain is amazing

Today, I started off this week with a drain/clean of the AirCube reservoir, after which I filled it with 80L of well water and added in the Plagron Nutrients (Green Sensation first, then 'A' & 'B' base nutrients, finally the Royal Rush). After the nutrients were added and the EC checked ( it's 2.0), I ph'd the solution to 5.7 @ 68℉. 12/22- I'm continuing with six feeds per day @ 900+/-ppm's, the HLG 650R is at 100% power 28" above canopy and they are getting 4 hours of additional UV during the middle of the light cycle. Tent temp's are running 68-75℉ at a RH of 40-45% and co2 levels are running 650-900ppm. 12/24- The #1 and #2 plants continue to be the better looking of the bunch, with the #2 being the 'one'. The #3 plant continues her struggle but has a generous coating of trichomes covering her flowers! 12/25- ~🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS!🎄~ 12/26- Seven weeks of flower and only a couple more to go! May, 18th Amazing, thats the word that hits this Lady No big talking , just doing AMAZING!!! Started with additional Bloom Nutrients today

20/06/24 (FD 22): Stretch is about done, the smaller skunk plant decided to overtake it's sister and measures now nearly 60cm! I felt like the ladies really needed a haircut, so I gave them a nice one. Took off ~1/3 of the lower leaves + shoots and a bunch of upper fan leaves to bring down humidity & allow for a better air circulation! Weather is still quite shit and it's hard to get dry air during the night time, I just hope I have a good enough ventilation system to prevent mold... Also cranked up the mars hydro TS1000 to 100% and I hope buds will swell nicely from now on!

Week 4 - It’s Friday again, and that means it's update day! Another week has passed, and as usual, there's plenty to report. A lot has happened, and once again, I’m bringing you along on my journey as a total beginner in the world of growing. Every week is a new learning experience, and I’m excited to share what’s been going on in the tent as my Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies continue to grow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 43-55% -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) Watering Schedule: -Day 24: 1 liter -Day 26: 1 liter -Nutrients are applied with every watering Light Adjustments: -Light distance now at 50 cm -Intensity increased to level 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update The most noticeable change this week has been the incredible growth of the plants. I’ve uploaded some new photos for everyone to see, and it’s amazing how much they’ve shot up compared to last week. The differences in growth behavior between the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies are becoming even more pronounced. The Amnesia Zkittlez has more than doubled in height since last week, shooting up and stretching outward. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Cookies hasn’t grown as much in height, but it has become noticeably rounder and bushier, almost like a pufferfish. It's fascinating to watch these plants develop in such different ways. While the Zkittlez focuses on vertical growth, the Gorilla Cookies is spreading out horizontally, forming a dense, compact structure. All around the plant, small flower sites are emerging, extending from within the plant and beginning to take shape. This difference in growth styles really highlights the unique characteristics of each strain, and I’m excited to see how they continue to evolve. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Defoliation This week, I’ve also focused heavily on training the plants using Low-Stress Training (LST) and some selective defoliation to optimize light exposure and encourage better growth. I applied LST more aggressively over the past few days, using clips to gently bend the stems of individual branches outward, almost to a 90-degree angle. This technique has helped the plants spread out horizontally, allowing more light to reach the inner and lower branches. I’ve been adjusting the clips nearly every day to refine the structure and ensure that the light penetrates deeper into the canopy. The goal is to encourage outward growth and create more space for the lower branches to thrive. In addition to LST, I began selectively removing leaves. I started with the first set of fan leaves, followed by leaves growing inward toward the plant’s center. These were either shading promising bud sites or simply not contributing to the plant’s energy needs. I’ve also removed the lower bud sites, which likely wouldn’t have developed into anything substantial. This way, the plants can focus their energy on the more promising, higher-up buds that are receiving better light. Throughout the defoliation process, I’ve been careful not to remove too many leaves at once. I’ve only taken off leaves that were either blocking key bud sites or were small and shaded, ensuring that the plant still has enough foliage to continue its healthy growth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering Routine There haven't been any changes in my nutrient schedule or the way I water the plants this week. I’m still using the same BioBizz nutrients at the recommended dosages with each watering, and the watering process itself remains unchanged. Each plant receives a consistent 1 liter of water every couple of days, and so far, the plants are responding well. However, based on some recommendations I’ve received, I’m planning to introduce CalMag from BioBizz into my watering routine over the course of the next week. This will help ensure that the plants have enough calcium and magnesium, which are essential for strong cell structure and nutrient uptake, especially as we move further into the flowering phase. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections and Lessons Learned As I progress through this grow, I’m realizing how much more there is to learn, especially when it comes to managing light exposure and training techniques. It’s been rewarding to see how the plants respond to LST and defoliation, but I’m still figuring out the perfect balance. Every small change seems to make a big difference, and I’m constantly amazed by how quickly these plants adapt. Being a beginner, this process has been both challenging and exciting, and I can’t wait to see how the flowering stage develops. This journey has been a humbling experience, reminding me that growing plants isn’t just about following steps, but also about observing and learning from the plants themselves. Every day brings new insights and challenges, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see these changes reflected in the health and growth of the plants. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead In the next week, I’ll continue to monitor the pre-flowering phase closely. I expect the water and nutrient demands to increase even more as the plants transition into full flowering, so I’m preparing to increase the watering amount to 1.2 liters per plant soon. I’ll also be keeping an eye on the structure of the plants, especially the differences between the Gorilla Cookies and Amnesia Zkittlez. I may begin defoliating some of the lower leaves to give the plants more room to breathe and allow light to penetrate deeper into the canopy. There’s a lot of excitement ahead as the flowering phase approaches, and I’m eager to see how the plants respond to these new stages of growth. Plants recovering well …heat is causing some problems in the indica room otherwise all is well …1 more week till flush then 1 more week after that til harvest

Week8 D1 Flush has begun for Rainbow Belts and Blue Dream- BD and RB are about 10-15% amber trichromes so I will shoot for 25% to get that nice uplifting high. Expecting to harvest BD and RB in about 5-7 days. They were watered with 6.3ph water 2 gallons each and that will most likely be last- once they dry out i will move both into a dark tent for 48hours and then chopping them down. W8 D2 looking like 5 or so more days before we chop blue. W8 D6 One more flush yesterday- harvested 4 tops that were hanging on rainbow belts- all trichromes nice and milky. The whole girls probably have another 4 - 6 days to go then I'll do a 48hour blackout and harvest. Wish me luck!
