Beta-minus decay indicates a nucleus with too many neutrons, electron capture a nucleus with too many protons. How can potassium 40 simultaneously have too many of both? The answer reveals one of the peculiarities of the nuclear forces. Everyone has roughly 140g of potassium = 0.016 grams of Potassium 40 = 5.643ounces The charge radius is a fundamental property of the atomic nucleus. Although it globally scales with the nuclear mass as A1/3, the nuclear charge radius also exhibits appreciable isotopic variations that are the result of complex interactions between protons and neutrons. Indeed, charge radii reflect various nuclear structure phenomena such as halo structures6, shape staggering7, shape coexistence8, pairing correlations9,10, neutron skins11, and the occurrence of nuclear magic numbers5,12,13. The term ‘magic number’ refers to the number of protons or neutrons corresponding to completely filled shells. In charge radii, a shell closure is observed as a sudden increase in the charge radius of the isotope just beyond magic shell closure, as seen, for example, at the well-known magic numbers N = 28, 50, 82 and 126 (refs. 5,12–14). Awesome Week💚 Following some great discussions with more experienced growers, I really think we got things back on track! 🙏 To those Growmies I really raised the ppm this week we topped out around 630 PPM This was in an attempt to balance out some nutrition issues. I think the ladies have responded very well. 😃🌱💪 Raised the light up to 24in as well a few days later after seeing positive changes due to feeding regiment. Started preflowering, showing pistols on all plants. Counting down these last 7-8 weeks when the ladies beauty comes out 🤩 Will update throughout the week with photos and videos. She is pumping out so good now. When I opened the tent before I was blown away with her scent. A very pungent sweet citrus smell with hints of berry. Will be doing another flush tomorrow. And will be preparing for the harvest. Am absolutely over the moon with her. I see where I can make improvements for a better yeild next time but the quality of her is outstanding by the eyes and nose.

Day 14. Second dose of nutes. Day 17. Trimmed leaf and bent plant over LST. Day 18. Side branches coming in nicely. Day 19. HST side branches.

At 84 days from seed, 29 days into bloom, she is drinking about a liter (1/4 gal) per day. The stretch has stopped. I continue to defoliate lightly so light and wind can get to the bud sites. Her harvest window will start in another 30 days so there is not much to do but wait. Highest temps in the tent this week were 79F, lowest were 73F. I read somewhere that purplish tones are more likely to show themselves if you have cool nights. Unfortunately, as I'm growing during the summer without AC, I don't think I'll be able to create cool enough nights to see purple leaves. She smells great though and is putting on weight well. I am excited to watch her develop. I am also trying out Terpinator for the first time. I am using it at much lower dosages than recommended. I plan to increase the amount I put in when I get comfortable that it won't burn my lady.

Still on rain water... looks better! Now in 9th week of flowering, I removed almost all big leaves from motherplant. Clones look OK, buds getting bigger and bigger. 2023/04/21 : I vaporized about 0.5g of dried popcorn buds from mother plant. I was high at the begining and stone at the end, I fell asleep watching a movie. The bad news is I found some seeds in these buds : it won't be sinsemilla! 😪
