You can really see how the lights shine in comparison to my older ones. The brightness of the leds is next level and I can use their V1 spectrum from seed to harvest. Its a great balance of red and blue in a full spectrum light. The medic grow mini sun 2 is a all purpose light that I can see myself getting lots of use out of in the future. Plus they fit in my tent just as snug as my last ones and that's a big thing for me, I don't like dim corners. I am using the lights at 80% dim level. this will be raised to 100% when they enter flower :D First time useing lights I can dim. they also have an onboard timer attached to them, I will be playing aorund with this to see if its something I want to use in the coming weeks, I all ready have all the external timers so I can see how this is a useful tool for anyone starting off without them. On top of all this I also transplanted my plants into their final pots. they went from a .7-.8L to a 2gal or 7.5L, all the root balls on the plants where perfect, nice white roots, maybe a bit compacted for the size and might explain why I am having some issues with them but healthy none the less. I think they will not start to grow a bit better and I will see less issues moving forward. I still have yet to get a new PH pen but I am blindly guessing the PH by adding 2 drops of phosphoric acid ph down per 1gal of feed solution. it seems to be working out just fine. Hello and welcome to my newest grow! Going to be doing a small pheno hunt for a keeper cut of purple marmalade by Solfire. Speaking of Solfire, want to shout these guys out. Just purchased from these guys the first time and the seeds I received look perfect. They also sent me 3 free seeds which I’m looking forward to growing next. Purple Marmalade is something special too me as I actually smoked this strain in Rochester New York around 2021, I would always pick up 3 new strains a week when I stayed here. For me and my girlfriend at the time it was one of our favorites we have ever had. Super spacey and melted away all stress. Going to be doing a proper hunt where I will keep the rooted seeds as parents and will be taking clones of these for the actual hunt. The clones will be planted in my newest 30 gallon no till bed where they will be flipped semi early to allow all 3 plants to fill the 2x3. The 30 gallon pot is the same soil I have been no tilling in a 15 gallon for the last year and a half. It had gotten compacted in the 15 so I dumped it out, reammended with 3.0, craft blend, and gnarly barley. Also added a gallon of perlite to help prevent compaction again. Poured it into the 30 and topped it off with about 8 gallons of fresh Elite Soil. My thought process is the plants will start off in the new top soil as the bottom cooks, so by the time the roots hit the older soil it is ready to go. I also took a soil sample of the old soil and sent it to my local university to see if the amendments I added will be enough or if I should top dress more early on. Today August 23rd I sprinkle a ton of white clover seeds on top of this pot so by the time I transplant the clones in two weeks I will have a cover crop I also planted the seeds today on August 23rd. I filled my small nursery pots with some new Elite Living soil. I soaked the soil heavily to ensure it was wet and tamped. Poked a small one inch hole into each pot. Sprinkled recharge into each hole, dropped the seeds in and covered lightly. I then transferred these to my small parent tent where they will hopefully pop and veg until I am able to take my clones for the main tent. Germination success is set to 0/3 until they start too pop. Really looking forward to this grow with you guys! God bless! Update Day 4, August 28th: Cover crop growing in well and first seed popped. Good looks for solfire, first time using them. My seeds planted directly in soil almost always consistently pop on day 5. Day early and healthy looking, no helmet head, and can already see true leaves coming in. Beginning

Great easy grow, took well to led grow and nutrients never needed to step back. Needed support fairly early on in grow. Heavy flowers not massive but I guess loaded with oils and good stuff. No apple smell or taste with these two phenos at all. Both super heavy chem affairs. One however tastes a lot like gorilla glue, it is one of the parents. This cultivar has shot straight to the top of my lists of grow again. It’s pure fire.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now almost halfway through flowering which is 4 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster last week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also switched the Medic Grow light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of last week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 44" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 40" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 tent is starting to really fill up and they are just now starting to smell. I was out of town all weekend so I was unable to make a time lapse video but I will update next week. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. And my army as arrived lol its IPM time with in this case is not preventive but its attacking a situation !!!! In my humble opinion wen growing in organics one fight life with more life and in this case i broth the big guns, i am talking about applying nematodes (steinernema faltiae) with you cant see at naked eye but will do they’re job on the soil and take on a microscopical way, i also am introducing some beneficial bugs to be more exact the stratiolaelaps scimitus they are machines killing trips, soil flies and a bunch of other plages we dont want around our girls and i also invited some Noseilus Californicus as a preventive for Any kind of non beneficial mites. With this i recipe i have faith my girl will be in control until the end of the run were i can clean it all up good !!! Appart from the bugs situation and that this girl is always starving dont ask me how but just in case i start adding NPK in liquid mineral way lol she is doing amazing to my eyes, i mean the bud formation its amazing , i can already see a canopy full of golf balls , she is not an easy one to grow but i believe she will compensate me with amazing fruits, lets see … <3 <3 <3 As always thank you all for stoping by, for checking my journey , for the love support and for it all, i am blessed and humble with you all. 1 plant is not looking good; no signs of bugs; yellow spots have seen.

Nice growth and bud developtment. Hps still doing its thing while im sitting back and relaxing. Got to keep an hawk eye on watering. I feed full strenght going over to full canna so they were transplanted into soil. Clones doing good but the Lemon skunk clone dont feel to good. Lets see what the week will bring.

She’s been in flush around 15 Days now, nothing super heavy. Lower leaves starting to fade slightly and she’s still fattening up. Will let her start to fade before I decide on doing anything at all. Her trichomes are mainly cloudy with an amber here and there.

-Seeds were germinated directly in soil 2cm deep with 60ml of pH'd mineral water and covered with cling wrap for humidity. -Lights cycle: 18/6 - Seeds popped after 3-4 days, 100% germination -Cling wrap removed after germination -Day 1 of grow is 8/10/2020 -Day 1-4 seedlings were feed pH'd mineral water -Seedlings received their first nutrient feeding on day 5 -Nutrient water pH'd at 6.3 and oxygenated with air pump + air stone -Mycoroot was fed via top dressing Struggled to get the pH with in range, I had to mess around with pH up and down to get it in the range of 6.3. The growth looks good so far just a bit worried up about the colour of the leaves. Temp varied from 26C-28C and humidity ranged between 42-52%. I had to play around with the oscillating fan speeds and positioning as well as the amount of air inlet vents. I found that just having one opened helped get the humidity up and the temp had only a slight increase. I let the oscillating fan run on its lowest setting and put off its rotating function, I also made sure the fan was not directly hitting the plants which assisted with the humidity micro-climate. The distance of the HPS was at 90cm from top of plants after the popped out of the soil, this was readjusted to 60cm once true leaves were showing. They got the first nutrient feed on day 5.

WELL LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! My beautiful KOSHER KUSH #1 is already being flushed and will be chopped this weekend!! All these amazing colors are just starting to devour the plants with yellows purples and oranges inching closer and closer to harvest!! I will only be growing TOP SHELF FLOWER for my local dispensary after they reached out to me and pre ordered all of it!! I’m using some flawless finish on a couple of the feedings for flush and the other plants are still on a steady dose of flora bloom/ micro , terpinator , and cha Ching .. after a couple more feedings I’ll start flushing the rest of the girls and making sure no more nutrients is left in those pretty buds!! Beginning of 6th week of flowering F36 SD2 smells like a burning tire next to an engine oil spill. The smell is aggressive and gets into your nose. SD3 smells like sweet engine grease with a warmth.The smell is inviting.

No issues with this plant, awesome buds with awesome scent and flavor! Super easy to manage during growth. I'd definitely recommend this strain.
