Grow diary 11 Stage 1 Days 1-10 By day 4 all was looking good, she had plenty of roots coming out the bottom of the cube. Day 6 I transplanted her to the 3 inch rockwool cubes that had been soaked for 15 mins in this stage nutrient solution and left to drain for 15 mins, then she went into the bigger propagator. Day 10 she had no roots coming out the bottom of the 3 inch cube yet. Over the last few days she has been getting more exposure to the fan, with the lid of the propagator the humidity is on the low side, but i want to get some air movement around her. She has also grown o.k over the last 10 days. She looks healthy enough and is where I would expect her to be in growth. Start of week 3, the three survivors are doing great! I did happen to find some algae growing on top of one of the rockwool cubes. (This was my fault for not fully covering the tops of them with hydroton to block out light.) As an attempted fix, I cut some square pieces of black cloth that I laid of the top of the cubes to block out the light completely. Hoping removing their light source, the algae will die off and discourage any further growth. If it gets any worse I’ll try using a hydrogen peroxide solution. Day 17, the three ladies are looking nice. Starting to see some nice healthy roots populate inside the buckets. I went ahead and upped their nutrients today. We will see how they are doing in the morning. -FloraFlex - 1.5g/gal of each V1 and V2. -Advanced Nutrients - 1/2 strength MGB and hobbyist additives. **Algae update: seems like using the black cloth to block out all the light has killed off that algae growth and I don’t see anymore so it’s working!** Day 18, I thought one of my plants had root rot. Which was weird for it to happen that fast in less than 24 hours since changing the res. Come to find out it’s just nutrient stain from the Advanced Nutrients, so thank god. #1 and #2 which are growing with FloraFlex got FIMmed today. I’ve topped plants before but never FIM. Not sure if I did it right, but that’s the fun in all this, is experimenting to see what works. Day 20, #1 and #2 are responding well after being FIMmed couple days ago. I decided to FIM #3 as well. I also decided to leave the 4th one out of this diary from here on out since she’s behind. We will stick with the original three that survived from the start. So far I’m really loving their bushy appearance and thick leaves. Their roots are coming out super nice as well! Pretty soon these babies are going to just take off!

Everything goes more purple during this 5th week!! Devil cream is developing bud quickly and she is definitely the most rapid plant I’ve ever grow till now. Since I put her outside she was attacked by different kinds of pest, but she is like a rock and seems don’t have problems with them, however I removed 2 or 3 damaged leaves. I’m using neem oil on the soil to avoid bread flies and I washed the leaves with marseille soap, seems working great! Purple is spreading more and more and she is super lovely to see ❤️ It is funny to see differences between same strain plants grown in the same environment, this one is tall and is developing dark purple buds, second one and third one have light purple mixed with green buds with beautiful pink and purple pistils while the last one is totally green and very short Compared to its sisters!! I’m falling in love with these amazing colors and we are just at the start 💪🔥

Nothing but colas on all 3 this is going to be a big harvest. Another 2 or 3 weeks max.

D33 - 19/02 Haven’t changed the reservoir this week yet. A few burnt tips on Northern Lights #2, will probably go a little lighter on nutes next feed - she’s definitely more sensitive to them than the other ones. Overall great looking girls and nice growth. The #2’s are higher than the #1’s, nodes developing nicely and the scrog is definitely helping with lateral growth as well. — D35 Mixed a new reservoir with roughly 19L, at around 70% strength. pH 6.0 and EC 1.1 Humidity has risen a bit, so I installed the dehumidifier again. Apparently the tip burning has stopped, or at least slowed, which is good. #1’s are at around 25cm height, while #2’s are around 40cm height. — D36 Did another defoliation session as the girls really needed it. Cleaned a lot of the big fan leaves, airflow and light penetration is way better now. A few hours after and they’re super happy again.

Did nothing but feed and spray on and under the leafs. Before feeding I brew the solution for 24h. Taken from a larger vat that's aerated all the time. The water itself was filtered by reversed osmose a couple days before. The EC-value is 0.1 Ramping up Par-levels to 480-500 at the end of this week. At the end of the week I sowed the cover crop and mulshed it with Miscanthus

Week 18 (30-6 tm 5-7) 30-6 Temperatuur: 31.4 graden (licht aan) 22.5 graden (licht uit) Luchtvochtigheid: 69% (hoogste) 50% (laagste) Ik heb de trichomen bekeken en heb besloten haar nog een dagje langer laten staan. Watergift: Geen. 1-7 Vandaag heb ik de trichomen opnieuw bekeken en die zien er goed uit! Veel cloudy en best wel wat amber. Ik hou echt van deze trichome foto's, echt mind blowing hoe dat er uit ziet! Dus vandaag gaat de schaar er in! 2-7 Ik heb besloten om een wet trim te doen zodat als ze droog is ze gelijk in de cure pot kan. Geloof het of niet, maar ik ben wel 12 uur lang bezig geweest om alles te knippen 😅 Op 1-7 ben ik in de middag begonnen en in de vroege ochtend van 2-7 was ik klaar. Het natte gewicht van de buds is 283 gram, en het natte gewicht van de trim is 61 gram. Ik ben nu al super tevreden met het gewicht! Dit is meer dan het dubbele aan gewicht vergeleken met mijn eerste grow. De buds zien er ook echt mooi uit. Ik schat dat het tussen de 50 en 75 gram droog gaat zijn. Ik ben benieuwd, nu een paar dagen drogen! Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.4 graden (hoogste) 21.2 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 59% (hoogste) 42% (laagste) 3-7 Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.2 graden (hoogste) 21.5 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 50% (hoogste) 41% (laagste) 4-7 Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.1 graden (hoogste) 22.1 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 53% (hoogste) 46% (laagste) 5-7 Na 3 dagen is ze droog genoeg om te curen. Wel heb ik iets te lang gewacht want de LV in de jar geeft nu 57% aan. Ik hoop dat dit over een dag wat om hoog gaat. Nu een paar weken curen en dan kom ik met de rook verslag 😁 Ik zal binnenkort ook even berekenen wat de gram per watt is, aangezien ik de lamp niet de gehele grow op 100% had staan. Het droge gewicht van de buds is precies 75 gram, en het droge gewicht van de trim is 19 gram. Samen maakt dat 94 gram! (De trim gebruik ik om een CBD cake of bubble hasj te maken) Ik wil iedereen bedanken voor het volgen van dit avontuur! Tot de volgende keer!
