Everything is going good happy with the progress, I flipped the lights about 5 days ago and put another net up yesterday just to see the stretch progress, I started to use bio bloom and bio topmax with feeds. Hopefully I start to see some little buds forming. 😃

Topped the plant in day 29 from seed. Nutrients concentration is dropping 10-20 PPM every 1-2 days. PH is drifting up every day, I have to drop the PH every 1 to 2 days. Light intensity for this week is at 46% ( Fluence Spydr 2i) . After toppling I dropped the light intensity to 36% for a day.

Week 5 day 35 today I turned the plants 180° and defoliated not too sure if I absolutely butchered them but its done now time will tell....they've been watered straight after also I've noticed no yellow tips or deficiency on leafs all through pur which is shocking...this strain is the best one I have grown soo far I've done about 5 so far over 10 years with big gaps so learning again for sure slowly 👍 would like to grow this again soon but properly next time... temps are around 26-27 still using the cfls to keep temps up and is going well so far. Im looking for seeds for next time I want to grow but can't seem to find this strain anywhere 😕

DAY 28 Flowering: Hi all. I hope we are all well and sane with our family and friends intact. It has been a very strange week with some brilliant fortune that led to a slight dilemma. I had entered an online comp to win a p4000 by viparspectra. As I had used the xs1500 i was eligible to enter a picture for their photo competition. I never expected to win and there were some really nice entries too . It was a vote and not a sponsors choice for the win so this was an even more positive result for me . The light arrived and curiosity had me opening it !!!. With a 1ft wider coverage in flower and the issue of bunching up I was managing , it felt like a no brainer . After a very quick set up and hang ot was full power and full steam ahead. I hope this explains the change you may notice in the pics now. These ladies have grown very very bushy now and needed the spacing out a little too. I did het busy removing some more of the big fans too and had a little clear out of some small piffle... They are all really strong when I try to move their limbs now so I hope this is a future cast of big fruits to hold on them !!. There is a really nice sweet smell coming off the Amnesia haze and they are beginning to get quite tacky to touch now too. With 400w of full spectrum including so e it and far reds , we could have some sexy bud pirn glistening in no time. Lol Be well growmies. Until the next one.

Day 57 total (for plant 1) Day 8 of flower (for both) 2020-06-28 New week, changed the nutrients from 1000 to 800 ppm because I kept having to dilute with CaliMagic water last week. I tried jumping up the nutrients too quickly. No burn but the nutrient intake wasn't nearly as fast as the water intake. Pre-flowers are coming out all over :) 2020-06-28 Plant is still drinking far more than its taking in with nutrients. You really have to drop them a bit when you go into flowering because they start guzzling... Trying to keep them around EC=1.6 but I might have to go down to 1.4. Regardless, they are clearly happy and growing like crazy. Flowers are starting to emerge at the beginning of week 2 of flowering. I think that's a good sign. I continue to have to defoliate, especially plant 2! It's making these huge fan leaves every day. 2020-07-01 I typically have to top up Plant 01 every other day with water, so thirsty and growing so quickly, I wish it would stop.... I am posting an image of what I think is springtails. Gonna ask a grower question about it. 2020-07-04 Springtails don't seem to be hurting much. Tested and they seem to be fairly resistant to bleach AND hydrogen peroxide... They also seem to eat their dead very quickly and they congregate in clumps. They are bizarre to watch. Seem to have gotten a bit of nutrient burn on plant 2. I've kept the nutrients about 1650 but the ppm in the water keep going up because of the water usage. I keep diluting it down over the course of the week and it seems to be working.

The seed bank sent me these instead by mistake. Was asked to send them them back but decided to go ahead and keep these. I'm going to run these on a full Terra Power line up. I'm a bit concerned about root rot and bad bactria and all but I have nutrients to counteract this and break down dying roots. I feel obligated to run a full DWC enzyme grow as I have all these great nutes and 2 Sep buckets. So I'm gonna run this as a enzyme living grow and the other is a toss up for enzymes. This plant is 80-100cm so I think mainlining this 1 will be the way to go, or not, I'll be mainlining the soil/coco SLH so maybe I'll leave this 1 to be a massive bush not lollipop needing to be done I reckon. Looking forward to getting this going. Gonna read through all my nutrients and pick the best enzymes and make sure I do it right. Will be starting her on a light diet as soon as she shows some leafs. Very small amount like 3-500ppm. 1/5/22 VD1 she has popped and was started on a light mix. I just added some distilled water to my mix for my soil terra power grows and added 1/3 extra water. No need to PH it. By adding mystical green it stabilizes PH and when water gets taken up it should still hold your set PH from start to beginning. This is something every1 needs to get that uses DWC or get something similar that helps keep PH in set level in 15L or a wk later in 5L. The PH should still be the same. In other nutrients this isn't the case. When the water is taken with the nutrients the stabilizer is left behind to keep the PH stable but this all depends on you keeping your water level and nutrient level up as it goes down while your plants eat. That's why ppl get massive PH/EC swings when your The 3 Nutrients above were just for seedlings. They were left in the rockwool as they would have been left in the soil. They aren't been used since she showed face today. 2/5/22 5x bigger than yday. Looking small on top, she's growing a little to fast by the looks of it. (Not enough energy on the surface to support root growth) she only came out of the shell yday was about .3cm out of the rockwool. Bout 1.5cm now. 4/5/22 Decided to put her on the root stim La Calavera. Aka Voodoo juice. I found a chart saying I should be giving it. 6/5/22 So, it's begun. I've created a negative pressure environment, 1st time, let's see if it makes an impact. On wk 3 onwards I'll be running the intake extraction for 5mins every 30mins and I'll have 2 co2 bags up. If the RH becomes a problem or temp I'll put the extraction/intake back on 100% of the time. The extraction fan/intake is set at a ratio of 2 to 1. (100% extraction 50% intake) making a negative pressure environment, best way to show you have done this, the walls in your tent should cave in lightly Same Day: Okay, so this my last update. Going to run fans the same right up until flower and then I'll be sealing up my tent and adding 2 co2 bags. And will be adding a dehuimifier and setting at 45% it checks every 30mins and if it's gone up it'll turn back on and bring down to 45 or set RH, so no co2 will escape. The temp will be bordering 30-33c and then when they go into their rest window they'll be transferred to to a negative pressure environment with low temps and 45-50%RH. I'll only be able to do this for the 3 weeks of pre flower. And maybe some more, it depends how hard the dehuimifier will be working, but i want dense buds and only way to improve that is by introducing Co2 and then a negative pressure cold environment for terps. Then I'll be putting them back into full negative pressure environment and the Co2 will be useless, again all depends how it's gonna affect my bottom line. That and I only have 2 intake fans. I'll be going into detail about my Co2 adventures the week before I'll be prepping them to be able to withstand high temps, so I'll gradually bring up the temps the last wk of veg 28c max and that way when I push it to 30-32c in pre flower she won't stress as much, I'll have to add frozen water bottle or set up a copper chiller pump to run into my DWC tanks, as it's only for 3 wks I think I'll stick to the frozen water bottles, if I can't maintain 78f 20c in my buckets I'll build my own chiller that'll run copper pipping into cold water and then into my tanks and recirculate it. Boy oh boy, the final day of the first Medusa F1 Hybrid 1/5. Seed to harvest in 93 days. The first medusa F1 grew super fast. Her vegetative period was very short, showing white pistils at day 18 already, but grew into a beautiful lady. The first medusa was only subjected to LST and a little defoliation. The other Medusa plants from my diary (2/5 and 4/5),were topped and this definitely increased the amount of flower sites. Nevertheless, she grew thick and fat with heavy buds smelling like a sweet petrol station. The pistils turn bright orange and many calyxes are formed with hardly any leaves in between. I noticed after week 11 she started producing new calyxis with white pistils and therefore I waited a bit longer. I would recommend this and wait a bit longer to see if it happens for you too. Some trichomes were starting to turn amber and I maybe could have waited a little longer, also for the lower part to develop more. She was cut down on the 18th of July and was placed in my dark dry tent for 13 days at a temperature of 18 °C and a humidity of 60%. A long and slow dry is important to preserve terpenes. After 13 days, on the 31st of July, the branches were making a cracking sound when bending, so I decided to take the branches out of the drying tent and trim them. My 4 x 200W lights (on the box) only pull 50W from the wall so I think they are not super good. I made pictures with a Nikon camera and a white background. I smoked some and she tastes peppery with a sweet aftertaste. I will smoke more after a good long cure for at least 2-4 weeks in my jars. Check the progress of my other medusa F1 diaries and see the full experiment if topping is beneficial for these F1's. I would recommend trying out these amazing genetics and see for yourself. Great job Royal Queen Seeds for breeding these cultivars.
