At about 32 hours, I transferred them to the Root Riots, which brings us to the next exciting stage. Day 84 (day 21 flower): Major defoliation on both the Brain Cake and Bakers Delight. Both the ladies are getting sticky! The Brain Cake smell is pretty neutral but the Bakers Delight has a bit more smell and reminds me a bit of a Tangine Kush (Rare Dankness) I grew a while back. Changed the water reservoirs to the flower bloom booster nutrients (Plagron green sensation). Day 86 (day 23 flower): They seem to be coming along nicely, a tiny bit of progression in the buds since defoliating. The Bakers Delight is more sensitive to nutrients so added some tap water to dilute the nutrients a little (TDS 510 -> 470). Day 87 (day 24 flower): Both doing well. The Bakers Delight seems to be reacting positively to the slightly lower nutrient concentration. Both water reservoirs between 5.7 and 6.3 at all times and around 20-21c. Day 89 (day 26 flower): Everything seems fine, water stats are stable, for as far as I can see no deficiencies or excess, bud are growing in height and seem to be producing nice amounts of thc giving the buds a slightly grey color. Some of the pistils are turning orange very early, might be due to stress the past weeks, or the new full spectrum light or just genetics. The Bakers Delight currently has a stronger smell, also a more peppery background. The Brain Cake has a neutral fresh 'plant material' green hash smell, nothing special going on yet with her odor. --> Slowly been hanging the light closer, at 50cm from the Brain Cake and 60cm from the Bakers Delight, will slowly lower till its approx 40cm from the Brain Cake and 50cm from the Bakers Delight (because the BD is 10 cm shorter...). Hopefully this will get the top buds to get even bigger and stronger and hopefully aswell the bottom buds will pull some weight and most importantly the bottom buds need to ripen as fast as the top buds which is usually the main issue when they dont get enough light... Curious to see how it plays out. Might need another minor defoliation around day 40-44.

All three plants are now in flower, with the #2 & #3 ahead by about a week. I have done LST on all three, tying down branches with horticulture wire. I've also done some defoliation on each plant as they got extremely bushy and were getting zero light down into the lower sections of them. All have responded extremely well to the training and are looking great! Tomorrow I will empty and clean the reservoir along with the 'brain bucket' as the water has really gotten funky and has an odor that I don't like. Going forward, I'm going to be doing weekly changes on the reservoir where I'll empty/clean/refill and add fresh nutrients. In between changes I'll just be topping off the reservoir with straight water and only checking the PH. 11/7- Yesterday I emptied, cleaned/disinfected and refilled the reservoir and 'brain bucket' with well water. After filling, I added Plagron's Cocos 'A' and 'B' in equal portions, Green Sensation, Royal Rush and Power Roots. I also added a dose of silica to this batch @ 1.2ml/g. The plants are all doing alright, the #3 does have some spotting beginning on her leaves in in margins, and has never had the darker green of the other two pheno's. 11/9- I'm continuing to adjust the LST wires on all three plants to try and keep as much light penetration down into the centers of the plants which has been working well. I have also removed a shade leaf here and there when necessary. The plants are really doing well in this AirCube system and I'm slowly getting a better handle on its 'in's & out's'. I did also check the ppm's of the return solution to see if there was a wide variance from what was going in, and all was good with only a 50-100ppm difference. 11/11- The spotting on the #3 pheno has cleared up nicely, and she's the tallest of the three plants @ 24". The #1 and #3 plants, although not as tall, have flowers that are getting a beautiful dark purple coloration in them, while the #2 pheno's flowers are pure white, with only a slight hint of purple coloration showing. Tomorrow I will be doing a drain/clean/refill on the AirCube system, along with fresh nutrients, which the girls should really enjoy! There's two weeks of flower behind these girls, with another six to eight to go which will be getting more exciting as the weeks progress... For sure this strains genetics are strong. She is really blowing up with growth. Almost a foot tall and extremely strong structure.

Flowering week 5. PH: 6.1 / Saturday - Sunday EC: 1.44 PH: 6.0 EC: 1.52 / Monday - Tuesday PH: 5.9 EC: 1.60 / Wednesday (04/03/2026)- The plant drinks, ph stays 5.9-6.0 and the ec is slowly decreasing.

Some strains are hitting their limit—slight nute burn detected. Dialing back the ppm.

Fun grow, treated each plant with a different growing techniques - Fim, Top, Lst, super-cropping, etc. Surprised on yield using basic $130.00 Bestva. Dry weight over 1/3 of a pound. They hung for 5 days. I put time into flushing and Trichome viewing, willing to sacrifice THC content for a more energetic medicine. I nailed the harvest based off of partly/mostly cloudy trichs(pic above). The weed is gas, top-shelve, better than the 21.5% thca GC I purchase through dispensary. Very, Very pleased with results. Biggest mistakes made on this grow: 1) 2 initial pots too small for 10 week veg requiring a tricky late veg transplant. 2) not using cal/mag in mid Veg. 3) allowing humidity to drop too low while drying buds in tent - final product is a little brittle.

Pre-flowers have appeared!! ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------- Aug 9 Found out the hard way that my ph meter needed adjusting. In fact, now that I think about it, I didn't test it when I purchased it so it may have been off slightly the entire time 😱 Was off by +0.7% Also may have thrips, but I don't see any. Perhaps the white spots on the leaves are ph related? Funny story though, within 10 minutes of having had the white spots pointed out to me, a ladybug flew into the lung room. Caught it and released it into the tent 😈 If I find her corpse within a few days, we'll know there are no thrips! Removed the two affected leaves anyway. ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------- Aug 10 Ordered nematodes and 30 ladybug larvae, just to be safe. I'm also contemplating setting up a ladybug hotel/lodge for a year round supply of predators 😈 (Hopefully) Chased out the bad ph with a new batch of feed. 6.3%ph and didn't even need PH Min!! 2/8 Week 13 ! Her drinking is falling, almost a quart less today. Moving into flush range as the hairs are beginning to curl and seeing some small showings of amber. Reducing the Bloom nuets to 5ml until I see its time to change again, increasing PK slightly. Prob two days then go to full PK (15ml) to take her into flush. Plan a fast flush with an agent to speed things along. 2/9 Fed 5ml/gal CT Bloom A/B 12ml/gal Peak Another day 2/10 Leaving feeding as is, building nicely leaving the plant positioned as is think this is the best compromise between all the plants in the tent. Not sure how long this will go at this point, but not cutting her short for anything. Pics 2/12 Beginning to back off the PK leaving the CocoTek at a low dose. Plan to have the PK gone in a day or so but leaving the CT until flush. Just following some new ideas on using PKs and Finishers. Pics and vid of buds using a couple of filters just trying to show these two foot long buds without messing with the dark cycle. Hope it helps 2/13 Pics that you can actually see! Due to some issues, one is on this grow (I need to increase potency on Tara), changing out the HPS for MH for a while, may finish under it depends on the other grow. Looking at the trics I have decided to drop the PK and go to normal levels of Bloom nuets until flush. Continuing to keep her cleaned out as much as needed so light gets all the way down. 2/14 Pics of the rearranged tent to end the week, Realize now how much time switching the lights to 12-12 has added to Tara's finishing time. These ladies are doing quite well and we have had no issues to mention for the week. They are all happy, healthy and strong. Kabul is the tallest of the three, White Widow is not far behind and the White Russian is a stout plant with a lot going on. So far they have been untouched and we do not have plans of manipulation for them, nature shall take her course.
