Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Pre-flowering stage, stretching phase. Today exactly 14.41 hours of light. Average week temperatures 80 °F High humidity, some stormy days. New heat wave is comin' Short and bushy plant, unbelievable cheese smell, if branches are incredibly sticky now, what will happen later? No issues, no pests, no need 4 feed.

Flushing begins for the Og kush and blueberry. All three plants are incredibly sticky, stanky, dense and heavy! The OG Kush plants are blowing my mind, I'm amazed at how much they have fattened up the last week. The super lemon haze starts week 7 and is also sticky and stanky, she's also starting to pack on weight and density.

Hi guys So week 2 is here and there in there 3gal pots now, they will stay in there until week 6/7 of veg now until I can finish off the autos. So its going to be a long veg for these then I will be scrogging them. I am starting these on fish shite today so they get some colour back.

Les godets,sont surelevé légérement afin de ne pas les noyer. Départ en lune ascendante nouvelle lune en 19 en gémeaux : il me semble que ce n'est pas si favorable que ça ... on verras :) germination a 7 jours ... j'ai presque eu peur XD. La tige n'est pas encore sortie de son godet. aération de la chambre une fois par jour pour en cvhanger l'air. ^^

Started with LST and did extreme defoliation. Plants were pretty healthy so they will recover soon.

9/3 One of the West Coast OG's, seems to be a bit stunted..the smallest of the lot but has the most pistils so far. 11/3 lsd has started flowering! Have been doing some light defoliation here and there and some lst to open them up.

Started intense stress training by bending the main stems below the canopy line. She has stopped smelling completely which is a good sign the flowering has flipped nicely!

AMAZING WEEK! The environment is reading for flowering. Lighting, feeding, watering, air temp and CO2 are all stable and should give my plants a stress free life. Humidity is still high, so I'll need to come up with a plan for dealing with that ASAP. I've introduced CO2 into the grow with my brand new AirBomz unit. It uses a light sensor that releases CO2 when the lights turn on, and then uses a timer to release every 2hrs until the light switch off. I doubt I'll reach the 1200PPM stated by the manufacturer, mainly because I'm running an extraction, but I figure some is better than none. Cool controller also included. After doing some reading I can see there's two things that I need to look out for: A) Switching off the extraction so it doesn't suck away the precious CO2 before the plants have had a chance to absorb it B) Making sure the room doesn't get too hot whilst the extraction is off, causing heat stress My solution is: A) Switch off extraction for 15mins at the AirBomz 2hr interval B) Use the Temp Controller the switch off the circulation fan when temp exceeds 27C C) Controller then switches on the active intake when temp exceeds 28C D) Temp is held at 29C whilst the extraction is off D) Extraction turns back on after 15 mins, temp drops below 27C E) Temp controller switches off active intake... F) ...And switches on the circulation fan G) Repeats every 2hrs NEXT WEEK: Work out how much the girls are drinking! I'll know when I change the reservoir.

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.
