Week 9: Transitioning and Training The Durban Poison photoperiods are officially settling into their long-term homes and showing some impressive vigor. After the successful transplant into the 25-gallon fabric pots, the root systems are clearly enjoying the extra breathing room. This week is all about managing that explosive growth and setting a solid foundation for the structure of the plants. #Environmental Conditions Location: Outdoor Deck Climate: High plains (Variable temperatures and shifting winds) Sunlight: Full sun (approx. 14+ hours of daylight) Garden Updates & Maintenance The focus this week has shifted from recovery to Low Stress Training (LST). Given how tall this Sativa-dominant landrace can get, keeping the canopy managed is a priority.Train: Implementing a DIY bamboo trellis system. I’m gently pulling the main branches outward to encourage lateral growth and ensure better airflow through the center of the plant. Irrigation: The dual-timer manifold is up and running. The custom-drilled hoses are delivering a consistent soak, which is crucial as the Colorado sun starts to intensify. Nutrients:Sticking with the **FOOP Organic** regimen. The leaves are a deep, healthy green with no signs of transplant shock or nutrient burn. Pest Management: The **African Marigolds** are positioned as sentinels around the fabric bags. So far, the companion planting is doing its job—no signs of mites or aphids. Observations The nodal spacing is starting to stretch slightly, which is expected for Durban Poison. The stalks are thickening up nicely, becoming sturdy enough to handle the afternoon gusts. Plans for Week 10 * Continue adjusting the ties on the LST setup. * Monitor for any early signs of "the stretch."

Leaf cheated death 1 more time. Went outta town and my plant sitter flaked. Came home to a wilted almost dead 1 leaf and hadn't even been in the flower tent for a whole week. Seems to be ok now. As far as living or dying. Probably completely fucked my yield I'm imagining. So many dead leaves. That's why I hadn't updated. He didnt want u guys to see him like that and I didnt wanna waste the time if he didnt make it.

Growth kind of exploded in week 4. The LST and topping leads to major bush properties. I keep the plant in check by removing major leafs and metal hooks.

Week 3 Update Day 18 (VT18): The nutrient comparison has been running for a week now. While it's too early to draw conclusions about plant performance, the effort required for preparing the irrigation water is clear: GHF is the quickest, followed by BioBizz, and Advanced Nutrients takes the most time. The new pots are amazing—no water leaking out the sides during watering, and the zipper feature for moisture control is a game-changer! Attaching today’s pictures along with a poll for your input. Cam Check Issue: While away, I noticed on the cam that GHF#2 has started curling its lower leaves. It’s well-watered, treated identically to BioBizz#1. Should I repot with fresh soil? Day 20 (VT20) – GHF#2 Emergency: As the title suggests, GHF#2 is in serious trouble. I’ve ruled out overwatering, tap water issues, CalMag deficiency, and soil quality. BioBizz#1, which received the same treatment, is fine. The only variable is the GHF nutrients added during repotting: 2g GHF BioBloom per liter 1g GHF Enhancer per liter Symptoms: All fan leaves are curling from the bottom upwards, while shoots remain unaffected. Unsure what’s causing this, I replaced the substrate entirely with BioBizz LightMix and skipped any additional nutrients for now. The discarded #3 plant was on the windowsill but has been returned to the tent as a backup. It’s looking rough but might be better than losing GHF#2 entirely. Unfortunately, this development jeopardizes the nutrient comparison for GHF, as I’m confident it’s not overfertilization. Let’s see if GHF#2 recovers in LightMix. If it does, the issue was the nutrients. Day 23 (VT23): BioBizz#1: Thriving as expected, consistent with past grows using BioBizz. GHF#2: Still struggling, with all fan leaves curling. Growth is significantly slower than the others. AN#4: Incredible growth and root development—roots are visible everywhere after just five days. Unfortunately, GHF#2's condition has worsened: curling is now spreading to the shoots, moving from the bottom upwards. Growth has stalled almost entirely over the past four days. Next Steps: GHF#2 is likely beyond saving. I may replace it with #3, though its week on the windowsill has stunted its growth. Catching up to AN#4 seems unlikely. I’m considering moving BioBizz#1 alongside AN#4 in the main tent, while #3 gets 1-2 weeks in the smaller tent. However, I’m unsure if #3 should remain with GHF nutrients. It hasn’t been fed yet, and starting an organic regimen this late might not work. Side Note: My girlfriend insisted on saving #3—seems like fate played a hand, and so far, she’s been proven right! 😅 Attaching updated pictures for your insights.

Hi there ! So from today 600W LED is placed in with 18 hours on and 6 hours off light schedule. Ventilation works at the same time as the lamp does. Watering: It will happen with 25 ml a day so 2× 12.5 ml water per plant. Fertilization starts on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. LST is also done as it can be seen. They don't look good this way but they just need to grow and get stronger it helps to yield more with the side branches. I will use FIM as well when they are ready I think at week 4 or 5. Day 18: OMG, I just realized I think I placed too close the lamp so I can see signs of burn of the plants. I mean some leaves get crispy in the edges. It is a brand new lamp and it was I think too close. I changed up higher. Hope it will be okay. Today was very hot outside so temperature went up as well even when the ventilation is on I saw it was 30 degrees. Too much. I opened the tent to have better air circulation and the temperature went down. Day 19: A bit hurts that I burnt them no nice but I also know that is is not a big problem. It will be gone as quickly as they grow. Anyways all fine part from this small beauty damage. Day 20: Now it clearly can be seen the damage that the LED lamp made because of me. Not nice, but it won't affect the growth. Well, I want to remove those leaves when the plants get matured to be nice. Next week I think I can do it. Everything else okay. Day 22: Haha I just actually removed the damaged leaves and now they look so pretty and healthy. I did not even have to wait until next week. All good nice girls there !!!!!

Hey there! I’ve only just started using this site and I’m halfway through this grow so I’ll try and fill in the veg and early flower up until this point. This girl really is on auto pilot. She’s just getting bigger everyday with some really good resin production so early I’m really optimistic that this will be a great harvest. 🙌🏼 She’s a really decent size and has responded incredibly well to LST in Veg. The only defoliation I have done up till this point is if bud sites are covered. Any pointers are always greatly appreciated.

Woche lief soweit ok.

PLEASE READ TO THE VERY BOTTOM. so you'll be thinking WTF is this I'm seeing ? weeeellll....I put myself on a task to see what I could do to grow decent grade cannabis with minimal supplies that a newbie would use for example.... outdoor dirt, expect I mixed 25% canna pro soil , cheap nutrients, non PH'd water and leaving it outside to feel the wrath of mold and things like that..... it was started in march under a 300w cfl for 1 week then left outside, I had fungal issues because I was water the leafs and leaving it out in the heat done on purpose), I left bugs on it and just general things that would happen to the newbie outdoor grower. it wasn't till I seen pre flowers I started using my indoor and general garnering skills to get the plant back to normal. I wasn't doing this for yield I was doing this as a bet and to prove.... you don't need all this fancy stuff or to be brilliant..... all you need is good genetics and a bit of love, care and skill with plants and you'll be rewarded for your time. also growing any cannabis plant in non ideal conditions probably isn't easy for the newbie grower but this is just to show it can be done in the UK even when you Fu#k up on purpose or not.... you'll still get nice cannabis.....NOW... after the tangerine autoflower is done I will be starting my next round of photoperiods in my tent so now I can bring you along and show you how I would normally grow cannabis instead if these kinda rubbish examples and show you some good looking, well grown buds along with a few other auto house plants☺.

Not much to say this week they only grew two inches last week so the stretch is over now. One of them is getting really frosty the other not so much but it is a little behind schedule since it sprouted crooked and took a little over a week to fix itself.

Fed at start of this week with 2 litre each with bio blizz schedule. Very clear signs of nitrogen deficiency in higher up leaves now, hopefully I am now feeding enough nutes. trichomes still looking clear to me hopefully only another week or so until it’s ready to harvest.

Hello friends. I've not done anything really to her this week. She asked for nothing really.. maybe the odd bedtime story but otherwise she is just resting and recovering from last week's toppings. She has pushed new growth that has supposed me. I need to cut off the next set of nodes but I think I may wait a few days and do the final topping all in one hit. I can't get her into flowering room for another 6-8 weeks so I have some good time to shape her into a sixteen cola mega beast..(I hope). If I do the copy chop cho later this week ishall update some pics of the torture.. ...update..... Did the final topping for 16. She has some interesting variations in growth rates at each node.. I think all the twisting has an effect on how the next node grows. I think I see a way by twisting the branch through a full rotation between nodes you can affect how the next branch set grows... It's just an observation ATM but I will maybe experiment with another plant to test this. She seems okay after the torture. I will leave her to grow out for a few weeks now I guess🤔 Thanks for looking. Stay safe😷😷 Keep growing and stay happy.🌱🌿😜🤪👍
