05/16/2019 Og kush has put on some growth maybe a clone or 2 to cut this week not as fast a grower as Banana og cut, but already got that og stank

Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiod plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. Jet Fuel has just undergone the topping of 8 florets, you can see the 4 fresh florets just cut. We are therefore at 8 very small branches growing, my plan for photoperiod plants is to get to 16, wait a few days and go into flowering. 16 florets as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the florets to split them, we always take care not to damage the new growing florets. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and in perfect shape at this moment and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now I'm a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil and start and only add nitrogen if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what it does to you. Remember the cold temperature makes the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer so be careful to give the right amount and to dry the plant in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances. Finishing off the first week of flowering and watching the buds grow :) All strains seem to be happy with with 1L water with 12ml nutes 25/75 veg/bloom each, every other day. Missed the defoliating deadline in veg mode but have done some very light defoliation this week, I should do more I know and will once flowering is a bit more established. A bit more LST, again on the careful side. The next grow will get the full treatment :) Of course things were going too well, a couple of hours ago while I was working on climate stabilization contra running costs (I got my first power bill since grow start) I noticed 100's of very small ants all carrying eggs exiting the base of my Gorilla Glue's airpot. I had been trying to work out why she in general seemed a bit laggy. Now I might have the reason, grabbed the Neem as 1st defense and gave what I could see a good spray. For those that I couldn't see and were probably munching on the root system and tunneling through the medium I added 4 tablespoons of fresh coffee grounds and 6ml of Wood Vinegar (pyroligneous acid) to 1L water and gave the Glue a soaking. This all happened just before lights out so now hopefully by lights on the ants will be gone and the Glue will start to perk up. Yesterday I flipped the switches on the LEDS to include deep and IR light to the spectrum. All in all a good week I think, any tips and advice always welcome :) *Update Gorilla Glue is looking much better 12h after the treatment for the ant infestation. Coffee grounds and wood vinegar, natural, safe, effective and cheap as well. I have Cinnamon as well now, so I'm well prepared for any future ant invasions :)

smooth sailing with the new ph meter and the ladies are loving it. I am very pleased with how the flowers are coming on and they havent even reached the flowering stage yet! I will be starting the bulking nute in about 1-2 weeks and then well really see what these ladies are gonne do!!! Only things I really did this week is a little defoil here and there, feed and refresh the co2, I like when things are easy lol 😁

Week #6 Gnomo Auto/ Kannabia Week 6 Dec.2-Dec.9 Gnomo Auto she is in week 2 of flower and looking nice she has really grown the last 2 weeks both vertically and horizontal as she's bushy but starting to stretch.

The girls go gently into red blooms - finally. It smells beautiful, but not much. I am bothered by the pH of the soil, I think it will be high, so from next week I will start adding PH Down from Jungle Indabox - the nutrients I use. Maybe the leaves will be fixed. I hope so - the girl is strong. 😍

One more week to catch up on

Welcome to week 5 of flower. Things have gone very well so far a tiny amount of burning on a leaf text but I have corrected it before it became a real problem. I cut back the nutrient level to 2 mg of micro Bloom and flour as opposed to three and things seem to be going pretty good. The bud sites are fattening rather nicely considering it's only going into week 5.

Sadly none of my 3 gorilla glue cookies did not germinate so I planted a 2nd lemon pie witch came straight up in just 2 days

13.4. - Slowly switching to bloom ferts. Also added Bud Candy to the mix. I had to defoliate a bit more as the humidity is raising during the night, even with dehumidifier. Watered 💧 15.4. - Seems like plants like the new mix. 4 of 7 plants already in flower. Jack even started to form the first buds. Watered 💧 17.4. - Plants look nice, buds are forming and each day I find more. Unfortunately, one plant (Gorilla) is probably some bad pheno and has a lot of thin leaves. However, it also starts to form some buds sites so nothing is lost! Watered 💧 19.4. - Week wrap-up: I'm totally out of free space. Plants took over the whole growbox and they're thriving ! However, I'm spotting some signs of nutrient burn/deficiency, so I gotta change up the mix again. I guess I will try to remove the Bio Grow. Watered 💧 13.4. - 19.4.2024
