Started week off with a medium defoliation. started the girls on a PK booster. Additional details in video.

This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

Day 71 from seed the plant seems to be coming along nicely and flowering stretch has come to a end . I cut some of the lower branches that were carrying some flower because there was no way they were going to develop on time with the higher branches because of lack of light penetration at that lower level and since nothing well happened to those lower branches she can start concentrating her effort and energy on to the higher buds. Pics are from day 19, which is the day I topped all the plants. Topped them for a second time a little early - should have waited a couple of days for the new growth. No real damage done though and a lesson learned. Topped to the 3rd node, stripping everything below, and topped each "stork" at the next node creating 4 main branches per plant. Seen a little cal deficiency, but increasing the feed concentration to 2.5ml p/l of each will nutrient type sort that out in the coming week. Will be transplanting to 5 gallon pots in the coming week, once the plants have bounced back from the heavy mainlining techniques they've just been through.

This week was awesome, i cant stop stressing these plants, i know its an Indica strain.. and i know that maybe there is so much time lost on the constant recovery.. but i know that this will result in more branchess Awesome work HSO.. I cant wait for flowering.

Diese Woche gehts nach draußen, denn das Wetter ist gut und die Eisheiligen sind durch. Die Tropicana Cookies hat ihren Endtopf bezogen und darf jetzt als erste im Außenbecken schwimmen. Das System besteht aus 2 Solarzellen. Die linke betreibt eine kleine Luftpumpe und hat sogar einen integrierten Akku, sodass sie auch nach Sonnenuntergang noch weiter pumpt. Bis zum nächsten Morgen schafft sie es allerdings nicht. Die Leistung ist eher mäßig, aber ich habe durch einen anderen Schlauch und einen durchlässigeren Airstone alles rausgeholt, was möglich war. Die rechte Solarzelle betreibt eine kleine Teichfontäne, die ich direkt gegen den Deckel spritzen lasse. So läuft die NL am Deckel und am Topf entlang bekommt dabei viel Oberfläche. Ich hoffe damit die NL zusätzlich mit Sauerstoff anreichern zu können und die NL an sich so weit in Bewegung zu halten wie in einem RDWC. Die Zelle ist nicht besonders Leistungsstark und dadurch pumpt die Pumpe tatsächlich nur, wenn die Sonne scheint. Ob das reicht werden wir in diesem Experiment feststellen. 😅 Dann habe ich zusätzlich noch den Eimer Isoliert, indem ich einen 40L Stofftopf drüber gezogen habe. Der Schatten schützt den schwarzen Eimer vor der Sonne. Die Steine auf dem Deckel schirmen den Deckel ebenfalls ab und halten abends ein wenig die Wärme, sodass der Eimer langsamer und hoffentlich etwas weniger in der Temperatur schwankt.
