Days 64 - 70 I just returned from my vacation, and I'm happy to report that the automated watering system worked flawlessly. Although I'm using water-soluble fertilizers, it seems the CalMag from BioBizz settled in the solution, preventing the plants from absorbing it properly, as we can see in the pictures. Aside from that, everything is going smoothly, and the girls are getting closer to their harvest day!

So I would say this is day 77 start of week 11-06/12/22 she’s looking better new growth is nice and green but will need to give her more time I think before turning over

A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. This week was very relaxing, i add only PH+ (again ;), Calmag and PowerZyme. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. 5/11 I DID NOT WATER. A COUPLE LOOKED DRY BUT STILL HAD HEFT AND I COULD FEEL MOUSTURE IN THE SOIL. I should've taken more pictures. I forgot it's a new week. Oh well. I'll be back over and I'm planning to bring the girls outside for the first time if it warms up a little more. It's windy as fuck but I can put them in the garage with the doors open. As long as that's not the direction of the wind. I raised the L.E.D light and lowered the hps. I also TRIED to FIM a 10th planet and an mk ultra. I may have just topped them. We'll see how it turns out before I do anything to the others. Pink kush grows slow and compact. Very similar to my experience with purple punch. I have two plants that have slightly twisted leaves. Nothing else is wrong with anything. Looking at the stippling on the leaf I think it might just be either low humidity or slight wind burn or a combination of the two. Now that I've looked again I think it might just be the first 5 finger leaf on those pink kush that I mat have mistaken. I'll keep an eye out. I feel better having done some research. I'll put some more pictures up and I'll update what it is that I get done. EDIT: WENT BACK OVER AROUND THREE. EVERUTHING LOOKED GREAT AND THE LEAVES WETE PRAYING ON SOME. I MAY NEED TO WATER SELECT PLANTS TOMORROW. I'LL PLAY IT BY EAR. LOWER THE HPS AND RAISING THE LED WAS A WISE CHOICE I THINK. OH AND THE "TWISTED" LEAF I WAS WORRIED ABOUT IS NOTHING. WE'VE GOT GOOD WEATHER COMING UP THOUGH WITH TEMPS IN THE 70'S. I THINK TOMORROW ILL CLEAN/SANITIZE THE CAGE AND WASH/SANITIZE THE GROW BAGS. 5/12 Looking and lifting some of the pots I found some that were pretty much totally dry. I watered the majority of all the plants. If soil was moist I left it alone. If it looked a little dry I gave it a little water. I didn't measure the water but it wasnt even ALL of what I had left from LAST WATERING (which was like a qtr gallon If that). I just don't want to over water. The ones that I went light on last time were the ones that were dry. Plants seem to explode after watering but this wasn't nearly as much. Everything is looking great. It's easy to tell these are all indicas due to the structure and leaf shape. Much different than even the Chem Dog #4 which doesn't LOOK as "indicay" as some of the others. I wanted to bring them outside today but it's only 50 out. I'm not going to make the same mistake as years past and stress the plants. When we get a nice warm day I'll bring them out. Other plants are ready to be topped or fimmed but I haven't done it yet. Also need to clean the cage and wash the bags. 5/13 It's 60° at 9am so I think the girls will be going outside for a little bit. Didn't fully water but I used what was left of the gallon and gave them that. Some are much drier than others. I'll probably give them a full watering tomm. I only gave them a little today because I didn't want them drying out. I FIMMed a Special Kush today. WE'LL see how the hst turns out. EDIT: WENT AND BROUGHT THE GIRLS OUT FOR FOUR HOURS IN INDIRECT SUNLIGHT. THE TENTH PLANETS WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD AN ISSUE. JUST MINOR HEAT OR LIGHT ISSUES WITH A COUPLE FAN LEAVES. EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMED LIKE THEY SHOT UP IN SIZE. THE LARGER CONTAINERS STILL SEEM KINDA MOIST BUT SOME ARE DRY. I NEED TO GET ON A STABLE WATER SCHEDULE. ITS HARD WITH DUFFERENT PLANTS OF VARYING SIZES. STILL HAVE A LOT OF WORK TO DO. 5/14 One plant was super light today and was a little droopy. I WATERED EVERYTHING TODAY USING APPROX A HALF GALLON. I brought them outside for the second day. I left them out for about 3hrs. It's hot today. I'm still floored that chatgtp gave me exact directions for hardening my plants off at my exact location taking the weather into consideration! That is awesome. They're all doing good. Pink kush is the slow starter this year. Kind of like purple punch was. The only plants that had ANY damage on them was the two 10th planet's and its not really damage. It's just a LITTLE mottling on the leaf and the serrations pointing down. It's weird because this strain did great here last time. The Special Kush #1 and the Pink Kush would probably be fine to leave out soon. Hindu Kush parents make those strains extremely resilient. The one chem dog #4 looks out of place with all tjis big fat indica leaves. I'm hoping the topping and fim-ing will take. It looks like it will. 5/15 Everything is looking great! I have some work to do bit then I'll be over to bring the girls out for a few hours. I'll edit this when I do. EDIT: BROUGHT THE GIRLS OUT FOR THREE HOURS TODAY. I THOUGHT THE TENP WENT DOWN TO 73 BUT TUAT WAS INDOORS. OH WELL. THEY STILL DID GREAT! THEY WERE ALL LOOKING OUT OF THE LEAN-TO LIKE SUNFLOWERS! THE STRAIGHTEN OUT AFTER BEING UNDER THE GROW LIGHTS. I'M PLANNING TO CONTINUE TO HARDEN THROUGHOUT THE WEEK. STILL NEED TO CLEAN BAGS AND GROW AREA. I HAVE 'A' CAMERA DOWN. TRIED TO FIX IT TODAY BUT I WOULD GET RO THE LAST PART BUT THE CAMERA WOULDNT READ THE QR CODE ON MY PHONE. I EMAILED THE COMPANY BUT IF I DONT HEAR BACK BY TOMORROW AND I CANT FIX IT ILL JUST BUY ANOTHER CAMERA TO ADD TO THE SYSTEM. ITS THE OLDEST CAMERA I HAVE AND ITS DONE ME 5 GOOD YEARS. MAYBE ITS TIME TO RETIRE IT. 5/16 I watered a few of the girls this morning with a small ring around the pot. I brought them outside and am leaving them for 3.5 hours today in the lean-to. They get indirect light without all the wind this way. I'll slowly increase the hours outside until there is enough daylight for them to go outside without revegging. When I put them out I noticed that a few were light and since it was close to 80° I watered most everything. I used under a half gallon. I'll see how they do from here and then move forward. I fixed my down security camera and secured my cage. Now I just need to finish hardening off, clean/sanitize bags/environment and put them in tjeir final homes. I'm not rushing it though. I've learned my lesson with that. 5/17 Plants did great yesterday and were perky and praying this morning. It was HOT yesterday too. Got into the low 80's. It's 57° degrees at 9am and it's overcast and sprinkling. I haven't decided if I'm going to bring the girls out today. It might be a good day to try some direct sunlight. I'll update whatever I decide to do.

- Week 6 - ----- Day 36 ----- No feeding today as it was tomorrow so nutrient line up isn't up yet. I'll do that tomorrow. Ladies are perfect, I can't wait. less than 30 days away. ----- Day 37 ----- Today is feeding but back left is behind the other 3 again, gave the other 3 500ml of tap water (10ppm) to prevent turgor pressure loss while back left dries up. Should be feeding in 3-4 hours. 23L 1100-1500ppm (new feeding, so ppm end is not known atm) 6.4 pH Plants are insane, big Bertha has become middle Bertha as the other stems have fattened up quickly. Speaking of which plants are in bulk period, 3~ weeks left so it's an exciting time to watch them fatten up. **UPDATE** Fed at 1000ppm 23L 6.4pH The removal of FloraNova Bloom, and letting the chelated Diamond Nectar go to work on the molasses brings down the "accountable" parts by the machine I use. 1000ppm is full strength on all fertilizers being used. I might add more molassses in the future and bring it up to 2ml/L, and maybe a smidge of epsom salts next feeding via foliar or direct feeding after I do some research. No more KoolBloom liquid, KoolBloom powder begins and she's a strong one. ----- Day 38 ----- Yesterday back left plant has me unnecessarily anxious. It didn't need watering till 2 hours before lights off. What I did is fed the other 3 90% of the feeding, and only gave back left 10% (closed the irrigation heads till the end of feeding). I'm HOPING it was the plant transitioning from pre-bulk flower to bulk-flower stage, and maybe it slowed down photosynthesis to concentrate on hormonal changes. I dont know I'm anxious and just talkin out loud. I'll know within 72 hours if there's a major issue with back left. Plant looks fine, i'm just paranoid. Pictures later today around mid light cycle. Buds are getting insanely fat. **Update** Was bored. Here's some wicked shots. Still 25-27~ days left and its big bulk time. Can't wait to see them at the end. ----- Day 39 ----- Everything is great. Feeding late tonight or potentially tomorrow depending on back left plant. I want to make sure bottom center of the root zone has dried out and doesn't begin to mold before I water again. This will also help prevent fungus gnats in the soil. I'll keep the other 3 away from turgor pressure loss, but they got 90% of the feeding last time so I expect them to dry by the time back left is. *** Update *** Now the other 3 plants who were faster on water intake than back left yesterday have slowed down. Weed growing knowledge at a Horticultural greenhouse scientific repeatable level is pure fucking garbage. I have 6~ books and checked dozens of sites and there was major conflicting info on water intake. That's the problem with cannabis, it was illegal for so damn long horticulture practices and knowledge never molded or were used in the process and now it's anyone's fucking guess as to who is telling truth or is spouting bullshit bro-science. Don't even get me started on names. What a stupid god damn naming system "counter-culture" created... I'm growing wedding cake.. WEDDING CAKE? Wtf. That's stupid as shit. Give weed botanical Latin names based on appearance and technical factors PLEASE!!!!!! If I could name this plant it would be (Cannibas v. hybrid 'multa-magnum-fragum-gemmae-dulcis') why? It's due to it being a; Cannabis plant, hybrid variety 'multiple big bud strawberry candy' showing off multiple long bud stems smelling of candy, Is that more convoluted and arrogant than Wedding cake? YES, it is. Is it better? YES fuck your stupid wedding cake name. That's dumb. And you should feel bad. Still want to argue? Name it Cannabis v. Hybrid 'crustulam nuptias' THERE! Wedding cake. fuuuck! 99.99% of plant names are Latin. Anyways... back to the point... I hypothesize that there is a secondary transition portion of flower where the plant (like in stretch transition) pauses its growth to move the hormone and nutrient production to other sources. This secondary pause happens JUST before bulk session begins. This hypothesis states roughly that up until final big bulk period (last 3-4 weeks), fan leaves and sugar leaves could still be produced by the plant during a "predator" or "high weather event" situation that would cripple the plants photosynthesis for final bud/seeding production during early to mid stage flowering. Once the plant has reached adequate nutrient reserves or some other time or light cycle based trigger, it removes the hormonal/internal production/ability of sugar/fan leaves still being potentially produced out of the internode stem cells and fully stops that ability and concentrates 100% of growth on bud structure and protection of bud structures through THC/CBA/CBC/CBD etc. (Im a little tipsy, can't spell cannabinoid leave me alone...) production. Tonight I will at 30 minutes before lights off be judging the water requirements during sleep of each plant to prevent turgor pressure loss, and to allow each plant to finish this transition and get back to major water intake by feeding tomorrow morning. It's insanely obvious somethings changed. I Was worried that leaving back left plant with stagnant water in the bottom saucer (pot doesn't sit directly in the water but is 3 inches above it) had released mold spores and started destroying the root mass of the back left plant but: 1) No obvious plant death signs, weakness or other aspects of it being a slow death from bottom up. 2) The other plants did the same damn thing within 48 hours.... and the back left plant is by far the largest and gets the most "light" due to its size hence it would most likely (HYPOTHESIS) finish its secondary cycle a bit faster due to just volume and weight. Listen i'm not gonna say this is all 100% correct knowledge, It's based off feeling and "knowing" plant cycles as a greenhouse certified Horticultural Technician. Repeated efforts to grow and replicating situations that created these things over and over is the real proof and will come in time. One major benefit is the fact I WILL be re-flowering these for the VERY LEAST 3 full flowering cycles as long as they don't die during flower to veg transition. I will be getting them THC tested EVERY SINGLE flower cycle to prove without a doubt the "maximum maturity" possible of a weed plant re-veg flower cycling, just like how we know by the 5th or 6th successive clone, the DNA will deteriorate and the grow will be stunted or a lesser bud high and yield. God I fucking ramble when I'm bored and tipsy. ----- Day 40 ----- Fed at 1350ppm 6.3pH 23L Plants are doing great. **Update** Little fun video from mid light cycle. Roughly 20-25 days left. Will finish at 30% amber 70% cloudy and will cut branch by branch as they are done, not in a rush to do 1 single cut and will let them survive to re-veg easier and less stressful. ----- Day 41 ----- Easy day. Here's some pics. Just basically have to watch the grass grow today. ----- Day 42 ----- Big photo day, used ruler for most shots. End of beginning of bulk, big bulk starts tomorrow. Could probably feed late night tonight but I'm going to just give 500-750 ml of water depending on roots needs before lights off. Tomorrow will be a big feed for first day of week 7. Tropicanna Glookies tips on back right are beginning to darken and become purple. I am hoping this whole plant turns purple in last 2-3 weeks. We will see. **Update** Back right plant is starting to turn purple and FAST. Pretty awesome.
