Day 70: Brain Cake seemed thirsty and wanting more nutrients: Topped off water yesterday, added +3ml of hyro A&B and +1ml of power roots & pure enzyme. EC went from 0.8 -> 1.0 Day 71: Brain Cake is showing symptoms, many top leaves have deformed tips and light interveinal chlorosis starting on opposite end of the tip and dark interveinal chlorosis at the end of the tip. EC is 0.8-0.9 (not very accurate meter :/ ) Not sure whether this is a nutrient deficiency or excess/lockout. The ph has been between 5.6 and 6.5 most of the time the past week, the reservoir change was 4-5 days ago. Plagron indicates to give more hydo A&B in proportion to their roots and enzyme nutrients in the first weeks of flowering (during veg these are given in proportion), so maybe these new problems are due to the different balance of nutrients that I may have times wrongly. Finally the problems may be due to the water reservoirs holding approx 12 liters in practice and the Brain Cake drinks approx 2-3.5L a day so maybe the water res is very unstable but after a day the PH usually remains in range and the EC usually drops a bit the first day after adding nutrients and stays pretty stable the rest of the week. Any suggestions are more than welcome! Day 72: Yesterday evening made an upgraded reservoir for the Brain Cake dwc (as we suspect the leaf problems may be due to instable water because of small res and roots nearly completely filling the res). Now the Brain Cake is in a 60L box with approx 32L of water, EC set to 1.0 and ph 5.7-6.5. She seems to be happy, nice and perky this morning. FYI the roots seem more orange in the video! They are on the white side though, just a bit of stain from the nutrients but looking very good overall.

Started this week off strong. Decided to switch out the extra Grow Big for extra Tiger Bloom since it’s a lower concentration on N and higher P. New growth is a good color and no tip burning. Raised the lights and turned them up to 100% for the rest of flower. Sour Kush is starting to stink up the tent! NCH is looking like she wants to finish soon, but buds haven’t fattened up and trichomes are still a mixture of clear/milky. Feed pH 6.2, EC 1.8. Water pH 6.3, EC 0.8.

These lights are a bit hot so I’m gonna upgrade to my Luxx 645s for the rest of this run.

10/10/2022 - 64 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 Fifth week of flowering for my Bruce Lemon Diesel 🍋⛽🌻 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - this week I keep serving and adding Jungle Indabox Environ X - bud stimulator 🌼🌸🌼 Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud - I canceled the bud stimulator mix and stayed with Jungle Indabox because the girls got a little burnt, the classic brown color appeared on the tips of the leaves 🍃🍂 I stuck with Bud Candy, all my girls need plenty of carbs 🍭🍭 Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand Training: With Orange Sherbet, I didn't do as much defoliation as with BCN, it wasn't necessary, I mainly cut off the large leaves that shade the light 🍃🍃 LST: some of the strings I used to attach the twigs to the edge of the flower pot loosened, so I had to re-tie them 🌴🌴 Light: Believe - the best light of sponsor Mars Hydro TS 1000 💡💡 In general: The plant is strong, manages nutrients well, absorbs as needed. The buds form along the entire length of the branches, they are dense and it is already clear that there will be many of them. Hey guys :-) Today a new diary starts with a strain from Amsterdam Genetics that I'm really looking forward to ☺️. I put 2 seeds to germinate. The more beautiful phenotype is kept in this diary, the other one is of course also preserved and is grown to the end 👍 . Of course everyone will be on instagram. (Maybe I will spontaneously start an extra diary with each phenotype, depending on whether time permits. Since I still have 3 seeds left, they will also come in the course of time 😃. The seeds were placed between damp paper towels to germinate. As soon as the first life appears they come to root in rockwool cubes and a greenhouse hood where there is a very high humidity. In addition, the greenhouse is heated so that the roots can develop nicely 👍. This passage is fertilized with the Greenhouse Feeding Bio line 💚. I'm really looking forward to growing with Amsterdam genetics because everything I've had from them so far has been very good 👍. This girl scout cookie is a big girl next to here Bruce Banner sister, and about 3weeks younger. I've not done much this week, tucked away any leaves covering bud sites and trimmed about 3 leaves that couldn't be tucked. Biobizz triple, bloom, grow and top max. Homemade nuits and just tap water. She's taken up her canopy space up in the grow cupboad so she's all set.

Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. Did some minor defoliation, and added final nutes before flush. Although stunted in veg, the outer two smaller plants are flowering well, thickening up, and smelling dank af... the center largest plant is still dealing with some type of deficiency that's been very difficult for me to diagnose. It's still chugging along with lots of bud spots, but the kolas aren't nearly as thick and seem like they might turn out larfy. It's also drinking the same amount of water much more slowly than the other two smaller plants... kinda strange right? Ps. I kinda f-ed up the compost tea and fed it to the plants before knowing it... I let the tea brew for 72 hours and should have stopped at 48 hours... plants didn't seem to mind too much though (I don't think the center plant's deficiencies have anything to do with the overripe tea.) and don't pay any mind to my nute percentages, I can't deal with that rn 😂
