Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

Veg30, las plantas crecen bien, necesitan una pequeña defoliación y ajuste de LST, quizás mañana. Veg31, este será la última defoliación y entrenamiento durante un buen rato, se puede decir que ya tienen la forma deseada, ahora solo hay que dejarlas crecer. Veg34, se regó con pH 6.0 y EC 2.0, el drenaje tuvo los mismos valores, entonces el próximo riego será con una EC mucho más baja. Las plantas siguen creciendo bien, se quitaron un par de hojas, ahora tendrán 1~2 semanas más para que estiren antes de pasarlas a 12/12.

Welcome to my next grow/experiment! Amnesia haze holds a special spot in my heart ever since I experienced it at the Amsterdam cannabis cup in 2012 - really looking forward to this one. I have plans to top once and hopefully be successful at making a clone to reverse. From there I’d like to maybe make some F1, and S1 seeds as well as breed it with the cultivar sharing the tent: Mephisto’s White Wedding. Started off germinating on Saturday 2/3 by soaking the seeds in a cup of water for 24 hours before transferring to a wet paper towel. On Tuesday 2/6 tap roots were present and they were moved to rapid rooter plugs and put into a humidity dome. On 2/11 they had sprouted up 3” and were transferred to the top fed RDWC system. Filled the reservoir following General Hydroponics 10 part chart at light strength and diluted by 50%. SE7000 is ~30” above at 40% providing ~270ppfd.

Overall, this is 9th week of flower for the entire F'22 grow season. With French Macaron beginning week 7 flower and Afgooey #1 and #2 in mid-week 5 of flower. The Afgooey #3 is just starting to form tiny budlets after an extensive defoliation as she's squatty with lots of foliage. Updates & Observations - a lot of maintenance this week from continual ph'ing and flushing as Afgooey #2 has joined the French Macaron with low ph runoff readings. Given I'm growing in a living soil mix with periodic top dressings and teas every 7-10 days, I'm stumped. So, no more feedings for the French Macaron until harvest. Decided that next watering I will flush both girls with fresh rain water captured/stored which I have stored outside in 30 gallon barrels. Rain water tested at 7.2 ph, which to me is good enough for the flushing. It's raining for 3-4 days next week, so this will exhaust existing supply and replace with fresh rain water. Perfect timing. Will update next week.

Flowering day 12 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone ☺️. Once again a wonderful week goes by 😀. It has developed so far and is now slowly starting to develop its flowers :-). As soon as the first forms of buds can be seen (I think in 5-10 days) 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom per liter of substrate are added. In the third week, 1 g per liter of substrate is added so that it lasts through to the end :-). This week it was poured 3 times with 1 liter each 👍. The entire tent was also cleaned and the electronics checked for functionality. The humidifier was refilled every day and fresh osmosis water was drained into the tank for the coming week ☺️. The plants have all been checked for health and pests 👍. Next week the bamboo sticks are inserted towards the end for support and the lowest shoots are removed so that at the end the energy is not wasted in the lower area 👍. Still no sign of flowering. Transplanted Novarine plant 2 into a 50-liters container. The spot is under a big shorea plant. Shorea is a South East Asian medicinal tree. This is minimum light spot in my yard. Hope she would flower. I choose plant 2 because I think plant 1 will stretch even further. Plant 1 was also moved to a shaded spot under an tree jasmin. This Millingtonia, Indian cork tree. I have sweet flowers all year round. People told me that dried tree jasmine flower mixed well with weed and is good for people with ashma and sinus. Kind of useless since why would asthmatic people even smoke? Plant 3 is my back up until I come up with a way to put her into flowers. Clone are doing nicely. And I am growing 3 clones from plant 1 and only one clone from plant 2. I’ll be donating the rest to friends with weight and blood sugar issues. By year end, I probable keep only one or two clones. One clone from bigger branch is growing just fine without any benefit form lighted grow box. Feeding plants with mid-level dose of cow manure tea and earth worm casting tea to keep leaves healthy. They should have been given a light dose of fertilizer. However, the flowering purslane are also eating and feeding soil microbes. Got my paws on triancontanol and brassinolide. Perhaps these will jolt Novarine THCV into flowering. Triacontanol won't dissolve in neither water nor alcohol. And it is emulsified with polysobate. Mixing of Triacontanol Triacontanol does not dissolve in polysorbate. It is rather emulsified. Means that it need to be melt and there need to be water added. My steps, 1) heated 70 grams of polysorbate in a big heat resistance glass cup. I used a beaker. Mix in 5 grams of triacontanol. And it does not melt. 2) Put in 100 cc of water and put in microwave. After the mix is boiled, triacontanol melt. There is foam. So a bigger cup and a spillage plate would prevent problem with my better half. 3) After heated, the mix is better. Then I added hot water from to make total 250 CC of solution. Then, the mix is clear. 4) Label the dose with pencil. This works better than labeling with ink. I use 5 cc at a time for my entire garden. 250 CC would last me 50 doses. No need to buy so much. This is cheap. Let’s see next week how effective they are.

Another day another week and coming along nicely only difference this week is I have started pumping some overdrive through them now seems as it’s week 6 flower. 2 weeks on that then hopefully ready for a flush with pure water and a few days dark then harvest time. I’ve got a feeling the papaya is going to be ready before the cookies waiting for.my microscope for my phone to come then will update with some pictures of the trichomes.

------GENERAL COMMENT------ Nice and easy, liking to grow this girls, they are vigorous and i already can see white roots at the bottom of my 15l pots, so they rooted very well. Training wise, just some FIMing in the two girls. Had an issue with the humidifier forgot to turn off and almost burnt my LED, as the humidity raised to 99%, like growing underwater lol... ------SM.BLUEBERRY COMMENT------ FIMimg did not have a good effect on this girl, topping would be better, so basically I'm not seen a lot of branching out for now.

The time has come when she no longer puts her strength into growth but into the flowers :-). It was poured 3 times this week with 1.2 l each time. When watering, there was 1 g of GHSC enhancer per liter of water as every 2 weeks 👍. Of course, as always, the tent was cleaned every day and the humidifier refilled. The complete filter system was also checked again. I filled the tank with fresh osmosis water for the coming week. I wish you all a nice week. Been a slow week. Been trying to fill out as much of the Scrooge as I can. I will be defoliating in a couple days. I still want to see if any more sites will reach above the trellis. The feeding is still the same 4g B1/B2 of Floraflex and 2gs of Bulky B per gallon. Thank you all again for tuning in to my diary see you all again next week.

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She's over 5 feet tall now and is stretching! She has maintained excellent vigor, color and has shown great resistance to pests and other stressors! 7/6- Yesterday we had a thunderstorm pass through early in the day, which provided about an inch of rain in a short time. I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod approx. 3g of water from the well, via garden hose.🌱🚿. 7/8- The daily watering continues, as does our blistering hot🔥weather. All is well with the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and today, after watering her with 5g of well water, I gave her a good going over, looking at all the leaves topside and underneath and removing any leaves that were either yellowing or had other issues.
