Week 3: 4 of the ladies showed sex this week. The big girl popped pistils on day 18 and the other 3 ladies popped pistils on day 20. I hope ill get another week of veg before the growth spurt and fill out their pots. Training: during the 4 days of ponytailing i noticed the aggressive growth on the side branches, cant say it had a big effect as bending has. This week i held the branches down with wiring to create nice strong branches and ive been leaf tucking everyday. I lock the leave blades together with lower leaves to hold them in place but they wont stay down. Im trying to avoid selective deleafing till after the big growth spurt. Nutrients: the ladies had their first feeding last week and 2 waterings ph'd to 6.5 with 2 dry days between every watering. Ill be giving their 2nd feeding on day 25. Im raising the dosage of Canna Terra Vega from 0.5ml/L to 1ml/L

3rd week

The heat wave has just passed, after 15 days of hell no serious problems to report, few burnt tips, some spots where the water has fallen on the leaves. My gorilla now shows a sativa-like leaf pattern. Huge plant, still stretching, cheesy flavor when rubbed. Stay safe Bros

Starting this week with a bud a & bud b feeding. I stopped feeding nutes as often and only run the whole lineup on Sunday. Through the week I use mostly water with the finish, CalMag and swapping out the fire/prime. I had garden hooks in for LST that I pulled up. Brought back the scrog net for support. Learning day by day!

Going really well really happy with how the ladies have grown and how they are developing I seem to be getting taller plants back side of the tent I can only put this down to changing light to more powerful one but they all seem to be happy and doing great

Plants are getting too big for enough light coverage, so had to buy a second grow light. As noted before, the plant was getting out of hand and growing at many different heights making it difficult to set the optimum light distance. So, I went a little crazy and did some serious pruning (yes, during flowing, I know). Also trimmed off a number of fan leaves that were either beginning to yellow or were otherwise blocking valuable light from the many of the smaller buds. Fortunately my plants are very resilient and are finally at mostly equal heights now. Hindsight 20/20: I now have a better idea of how to route my plants using the ScrOG method. I found a well written blog that answered all the questions I had that other article didn't. Bottom line: Instead of allowing the main branches to grow through the netting and re-route the offshoots, I've found it's better to keep the main branches under the netting and allow the off-shoots to grow through instead. Think of it as the plant growing sideways.

Cali crasher is doing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She is starting to bulk. She has a nice resin layer going and good aroma starting to develop. Nothing else to report at the moment. Since I can no longer get the humidity below 58% and the rust spots on some of the sugar leaves are getting bigger, I decided to harvest . Unfortunately I couldn't wait for the perfect time, so luckily I don't have any clear trichomes , about 75% cloudy ones and the rest amber. 67 Day's from Seed to Harvest

This was a big girl to harvest. She came in at 417.3 g dry, which is a personal best for me. Additionally, I received 36g of nice trim for my tincture. The buds aren't the biggest I have grown, but they are some of the tightest! I really enjoyed growing this clone. She filled out the tent well using a type of SCROG to get the most out of the grow area. I dried the buds on a drying rack for 10 days, and then gave them a nice rough trim. Since this is all for personal use, I don't worry about making them pretty, just functional. She is a sticky girl, and gummed up my scissors more than once. That is a good problem to have! I put the trimmed buds in my Grove 1/2 gal bags for the cure. I have found these bags to be EXCELLENT to cure my buds. No burping is required, they preserve the terps, and keep the humidity between 58 and 62. Perfect! My best harvest to date!

Amber is coming in nicely, top to bottom - starting 1 week flush! ~As one only can in *Hydroponics (& coco). It's not "bro science" it's biology 101. It does not boost thc, it does nothing to terpene production. Simply put - we are ensuring/pushing a fall fade, that in soil you may or may not get naturally as nutrients are always present, (I'm not seeing growers emulate late fall weather outside of ice bathes-about all there is for soil). Color change! With that you geeeeeet *the breakdown of chlorophyll, and a better taste as a result. The final week! 12 weeks since germination, 11 since first sprout. These Apollo F1's vastly outgrew their advertised size and bud density. I will be cutting them down tomorrow and updating with the harvest page and photos soon. Great second grow!
