I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Hubo un error en el smartphone y perdí las fotografías que tenía de los primeros siete días información etc. 💩 De todas maneras, esto está genial! Los primeros siete días fueron realmente lentos, yo fui paciente y ella lo agradece. En las fotos se detalla las fechas desde el primer brote el día 13 de Febrero, los cotiledones se asoman por primera vez en el mismo momento, la ultima foto subida es del 25, el video del dia 26 de Febrero. Estas chicas son rápidas! Días totales desde brote hasta el video: 13. Riego: 200ml cada 3 días, alejados del brote. Ph: 6.3-6.4 EC: 440 020+/020- HR: 80% 5+5-. Manta térmica 24x7 con plato. . !! .19 horas de luz: 2 x TS600, 90 Watts 5+/5- LATERALES. !! .11 horas de luz: 1 x 100Watts CENTRAL. !! . La idea es tener un pico de luz asimilando la naturaleza pero sin dejar de lado los soportes laterales, la luz central se enciende 5 horas después de los laterales y se apaga 3 horas antes de que estos se apaguen. I'm slowly running into the problem that the RUNTZ is just getting too big. The buds could be developing a bit better. I was really unsure whether the seeds were just the feminized variety, but they are definitely automatics. It's really insane how well and massively the genetics grow. It's just crazy!

Started with flushing

ordered 10 gallon pots for the 2 blue dream and pineapple express they are going into a different tent. Plan on replanting Friday. Autos all are doing fine, think I've been having issues with cal mag hopefully I can get it sorted out. All the plants are pretty big at this point except the gelato #33 its so small lol. Very crowed in a 4x4 and the plants need more room maybe moving the photos out will help the autos out and let them spread out more. Ordered some Recharge, excited to try out. I heard about it on dude grows lol great podcast 👏 Picked up some blue planet liquid seaweed and also their gold shield silica, also excited to try. Lastly got some Dynomyco to add in. Both blue dream and pineapple express are in their new home another 4x4 tent. Only running 1 halide at 400 watts and a small mars led. Will boost the light up significantly during flower with 1200 actual watts and change out to super lumen hps. Running a terrabloom carbon scrubber out of the second hid hood all powered by a 6 inch AC Infinity cloudline venting outdoors. Also using another 6 inch to bring in fresh air and have a portable ac to keep it nice and cool I think its important to mention after every grow I like to go in and clean out my tent. Vacuum up leaves/dirt, Wipe down all surfaces of the tent(I use paper towels and water in a spray bottle) and also clean off my lights. Wipe them down make sure the glass is cleaned(It makes a big difference). I grow strictly for my own personal consumption and I want the cleanest product.

The light I had wasn’t strong enough but it worked. Definitely am happy I upgraded to a 720 watt light.

#Crop King Seeds Planting 3 Seeds Using 2 Different Techniques to germinate the Seeds - The First 2 Seeds were germinated (Jul 2nd) using the water / paper towel technique * The seeds were dropped in a half glass of bottled water (It stayed afloat) and kept in a closed dark area. * After 12 Hours the 2 seeds were pushed down to reach the bottom of the glass using my finger. * After 24 hours the 2 seeds were transferred / Now using the paper towel method to complete the germination - The last seed was germinated (Jul 3) using just the paper towel method * This method took longer to break the seed surface. On Jul 6 Decided to transfer all 3 seedlings into the Aerogarden. * Seed G1 had about 5cm roots. Some flowers already sprouting * Seed G2 had about 3 cm roots. Still had seed top. * Seed G3 had only just cracked . No length

She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.

WEEK 1 of flower. This is insanely quick, veg for three weeks and on week 4 we are flowering strong. It is raining a lot, so i had to use a top dressing, ingredients on the week 3, to manage the soil nutrients till the end of the cycle. About two table spoons. Watering once a week, with the mix above, otherwise rain is taking care of them, very natural as a grow, nothing much complicated, no science fiction with fertilizer or chemistry. I’m curious about the yield, and how much can i pull out of this way, with minimal work and a nearly inert soil. Let’s see how this experiment turns out.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. 12/6/22 Day 49: Starting to see preflower she is really starting to stretch now! She doesn't like to be fed very much actually less than anything i have grown so its been kind of a learning curve 🙃. Fed yesterday with nutes but will probably use plain water next 3 waterings... ph has evened out to about 6.2 and ec runoff is 2.8 and ppm is right at about 1390

The plants are growing and getting fatter and thicker by the day. I can see shoots of red pistins on the flowers and they are very sticky. The smell starts to be noticeable but I have a carbon filter so I'm sorted for now I do consider to bring ac unit

Rough week, seeing the full effects of nute burn and at the same time cal mag deficiency. Making some newbie mistakes here, didn’t realize how often I needed to give them cal mag so fan leaves started to yellow. Also didn’t realize the importance of watering until runoff with the medium I’m using so there was some build up causing the nute burn. PPM was 4000 when I flushed. I finally think I’ve got it all figured out thanks to friends with much more experience whom I should have reached out to sooner. Oh well, expected to make some mistakes and learn from them my first time around. Still have some big fat frosty colas! Can’t wait to take what I’ve learned into the next grow!
