its been a hot dry week but the girls have fared it well. mound design and soil content have helped keep moisture in the root ball of the plants. Hopefully we get some rain this week otherwise im going to be spending a day just watering them. fingers crossed for rain. We need a rain dance here.

I had a good week. Been cutting back on the nutrients and I’ve been adding some unsulphured black strap molasses into my mix. Hoping it helps the microorganisms in the soil.

I went ahead and sprayed her down with Neem oil and I'll keep an eye out to try and determine what the culprit is. 5/6- Rain showers today handled the watering duties and all I did was to add some straw to a couple of bare spots on the mound. 5/8- I'm not seeing much in the way of any new damage to the leaves of the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet FF. I will continue with the Neem oil preventative, along with spreading some powdered cayenne pepper around the base of the plant to take care of any slugs that may think of trying a taste of sherbet! This week basically was just feeding the soil with molasses ( 5ml per 1 litre ). And Reverse osmosis water. Environment control during this stage is of high importance. Since the plant is moving from its adolescence to teenagehood, so to say lol, it's really vital to keep the conditions steady. Other than that, this week was a breeze. Thanks to any and everyone that's viewing my diary, I do appreciate the support. 💚🌿

Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiod plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. The Purple Urkle has just undergone the topping of 8 florets, you can see the 4 fresh florets just cut. So we are at 8 very small branches growing my program for photoperiodic plants is to get to 16 wait a few days and move on to flowering. 16 Tops as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. You are going strong from the beginning there was a bit of a shortage but as I explain this week during the topping everything changes. We are in competitive days, the world lives the competition in a lively way and so if someone were to ask me or were interested which is the best of the photoperiodic plants I have inside for now I would say the Purple Urkle. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the tops to split them, we always take care not to damage the new branches in growth. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and perfectly fit at this point and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now they are a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil and from the start and add nitrogen only if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what he does. Remember the cold temperature makes the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer so be careful to give the right amount and to dry the plant in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances. Another stress free week. I am a bit worried i have had no issues so far so i expect some horrid stuff to come and get me soon!! She just keeps taking food and getting fatter.. She is long and the branches are getting to the point of falling over so i will come up with a plan for that.. Worse problems to have though right??😂 The smell is quite complex. First its old skool skunky but then it had a bitter smell. I know bitter is a tste but thats what it is.. Nothing else to say i feed her twice a day lights on and just before lights off. I am keeping an eye and i may start to give her a drink in the middle of the day. I noticed her top coco is a bit drier then it has been. Thanks for looking, Stay safe Grow well.

Ok so finally decided to move the girls into the flower tent so switched to 12/12 also flowering under a 315watt cdm 3k bulb the new cdm light is doing wonders for the girls

Observe. The stem that snapped clean off in week 5, the resulting stress seems to have made a 2ft solid massive cola, probably the biggest individual I've grown, albeit she had signs of stress, and I felt like she was a little behind in the floral development compared to others, but as the rest of the plants start to settle down with packing on mass, the stressed colawas just getting started. Super interesting to see the difference that the snap made to the base of the stem overall, as I know before the snap, they were all the same girth or thereabouts. Neat little lucky accident, maybe I'll try something next grow.

Beautiful pheno the one that I have right here, I didn't expect to see such a great pheno of Jack orange, the buds are very dense already, it's not the strongest smelling plant in this run however she has a very unique and different smell, you can feel some citric tones mixed with sweet flowery notes, it's really weird in a good way, stay tuned to see how this lady performs until the end!! 💚❤️💛👨‍🌾

This lady is going from strength to strength following last weeks slug attack! I'm sure it may have slowed growth just a little while she was repairing the wound created by the slug munch. The weather has been nice and consistent, all adding to the healing process and the low stress training encountered. 👍🏻
