Well I will be running this girl again very soon as she has produced some of the sweetest smelling buds I have grown so far . The colour purple is found around the buds and the tricohmes have a very good stickiness to them which makes for some great quality medicine . The team at the actual company seed stockers were very easy to deal with and they answered all my questions . I'm honestly going to run her outdoors this spring in southern Ontario she will be big girl outdoors for sure ... Just starting week 5 will keep updating as I go been having a couple issues lately with some of the top fan leaves, they've been starting to get a couple brown spots on 3-4 of the fan leaves not sure what the problem is yet if anyone has any suggestions let me know. Update: Just ordered in a new ph meter from Apera I'm pretty sure my cheap $15 dollar ph meter was all sorts of messed up. UPDATE: ec going in .7 runoff ec .86, ph going in 5.7 runoff ph 6.6 I'll see if the ph goes down now that I have the new ph meter my old one was definitely off. UPDATE: Got the EC down to .4 gonna start slowly introducing nutrients back in, also got the medium pH down to 6.1 from 6.6. Finishing up week 5 think I've gotten things under control now just need to get my EC back up now showing a couple signs up deficiencies on some leaves but nothing too bad, I'm thinking Week 6 will start flower. Did a Flush this Week now looking back on it I shouldn't have done that that caused my plant to go into a deficiency, what I should've done was not flush with half strength nutes I should've used normal strength nutes but just lower the ph more that was the real problem.

Really love a set of scales to keep track of weight too. pH and EC are both critical for thriving plant health, but temperature also plays a pivotal role in achieving optimal growth. It also happens to be the fundamental parameter that's most commonly overlooked. When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 °C (65 - 72 °F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. If your water is too warm, you could risk starving your roots of oxygen as warm water cannot hold as much dissolved oxygen as colder water. On the other hand, if your water is too cold, this could shock your plant roots, decrease plant metabolic rates, and stunt plant growth. Peace out.

16.2.25: I decided to check out the lower canopies of all plants to see if I need to get rid of any foliage. I did get rid of a few small branches and leaves. However, whilst I was doing this, I saw more garden pegs from my LST remaining. There were about 6 or more in Pink Mist alone. Additionally, on Watermelon, there were some left in, too. I'm so annoyed to see that because the plants are really stretching, and I could've potentially disrupted this by leaving the pegs in for all this time without realising it. 🤞 that I haven't compromised things too much. We'll see. I watered today with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing the following nutrients; ♡ .8g Green Leaf Nutrients PK booster ♡ .5g Ecothrive Biosys I ordered quite a few things for the garden. I got Greenleaf Nutrients Sea K(elp) and Mega Crop Parts A+B. To go with their PK Booster I got last month. I'm excited to try it all together. Next run, maybe just using these. We'll see how it goes. 18.2.25: The plants are going crazy for water! Everything is getting used right up so fast! Today, I decided to add some more Black Strap Molasses to add some carbs and other micronutrients. I'll add the jar with the label in the photos section above. I watered a very small amount to each plant. What I put in: ♡ Black strap molasses 150g ♡ 2g Sea K(elp) Greenleaf nutrients. The plants drank this up within a few hours. I'm going to try and hold off on watering in hopes that my Ecothrive Life Cycle will arrive so I can top dress and water it in then. 20.2.25: My Ecothrive Life Cycle arrived yesterday, and the plants are ready for their top dress and a good watering in. I have some Biobizz Light Mix, Canna Coco,and perlite. I'm going to use this as a base to mix my amendments in. I'm going to fill my 5 gallon bucket with about 4.5 gallons of my top dress mix. I will distribute this across 6, 4-5 gallon pots. Then I will water in well with Greenleaf nutrients Mega Crop Parts A+B and Sea K(elp). I've made a crude attempt to video mixing my top dress. Watching the time lapse shows me how my plants are doing throughout the day. Unfortunately, I am only setup to download the data once a week after the grow has already happened. I noticed on the one from week 5 that there would be times it would show growth, and then later in the day start to droop. I figured this might have to do with my watering schedule, I did not want to over water, so I only did it every 2 days. Then I bumped it up to 1.5 days, but now I am watering every morning and that seems to have helped a bit after watching this weeks video. Next week should show better results I hope. So far each time I check them they seem to be doing well. I would like them a little taller, but I can't complain on how they are doing. I upped the nutes a bit this week as well. Do you think I should water more than once a day? When is the best time to water, just before they start daytime or just before they hit nighttime? Or somewhere in between?

Day 81 - Rock machine & Doctors Choice #1 getting cut down today! I am so glad I decided to let them go another 2 weeks because buds on both plants got much thicker the last 2 weeks. DC#1 has a strong fruity smell & has purple hues all over the bud & the Rock machine is caked in crystals and has more of a gassy smell!
