Day 7 of flower. Cleaned up some of the lowers realized the strip is gunna be miserable. Put a humidifier in each tent so I can run the co2 with the exhaust low without getting the condensation. The trop juice 4 in the back right of the 5x9 is gunna be a monster.

Drying and curing always the biggest challenge for me due too constant climate change in my area, living near the mountains have its flaws too..🧐 Oh well still love growing..✌️

START WEEK 4/17/22 Not doing anything real crazy. Over time I seem to have removed most of the bigger fans. I am beginning to get an idea of how I want to defoliate what I want the canopy to look like. Having said that... these girls have been very hard to keep under control. I have definitely had some great OJT on my first grow and I still have a lot left to learn. All the plants are "icing up" real nicely, combined with the silver reflective walls everything looks and feels real CoooooooooooooL.🙏😱🙏 +I think the garden is doing well and overall is very healthy +ppm 1200 +pH 5.9 +temp and humidity are all over the place according to the passing cold fronts. The other day temp was 79 F and Humidity was 74% Today it is 54 F and 58 % *Ordering seeds today *Looking at one of the close ups, I think my plant looks like the description of Platinum OG that I have read about and viewed... I must be doing something right. Hey, the Neon Carrot colors are super pretty. *Oddly enough the smell is beginning to change... at least on the lemon tipped plant, from gas to fruity. Go figure. ? July 18: Plants are recovering from hail damage 7 days ago. Weather is good now but it’s fairly hot reaching 30 C the last couple days and about 21 C overnight which is quite warm for Edmonton. Starting force flowering tonight. That is 10 h darkness plus 2 h virtual darkness using 730 nm far red light at dusk to initiate dark mode. In garage at 9 pm, few seconds of 730 nm far red and then out of garage at 7 am. 12 h darkness within the ‘26 h day’. Your mileage will vary at different latitudes but that timing works for me here at 53 N.

Top dressed with some more soil. The top was looking depleted and just want to keep it from completely taking all the nutrients from the soil. Added a mix of power bloom with azomite and glacial rock dust. I watered in with some pure protein dissolved into hot water then added to the water I was using at diluted levels. The second watering they got this week was with molasses. which also does a good job of dropping the ph of my water to the perfect level and a little bit of Epsom salt because I ran out of my cal mag and also want the plant to have plenty of sulfur. Buds are looking cool and remind me of little pine trees. At first glance it seems like they are starting to foxtail but the buds are fattening once the new growth on top starts to expand more. the main colas are almost a foot long each, but hard to tell because the planetary buds around the main colas are blocking them from getting a good picture. Amazed by how frosty the sugar leaves and even some of the older fan leaves are. Her smells are mostly sweet and candy-like. got a little sneek peak of what her fade should look like from one of the leaves being severed partially with a nice yellow and purple. She put on a decent amount of weight this week but towards the end,I can tell she's starting to slow down. Looks like it will still bulk a little more but noticing fewer white and more orange hairs. hoping all my plants finish around 8-9 weeks. i want to try to harvest them all at the same time if i can.

It's a shame my ventilation system came in a month after I grew mold but at least I can make some brownies with about 25 grams of some pretty dank bud.

We’re officially in the final week for my Strawberry Gorilla Automatic from Fast Buds! 🌟 This beautiful girl has had a very quick flowering phase, but looking at the trichomes, they’re right where they need to be so no complaints! She will be flushed throughout this week and then harvested and hung up to dry next week. I’m super happy with how she’s developed!😋

Very nice stretch! This girl actually looks like the plants I have been trying to grow (for this stage). Still dialing in the nutes for consistent growth. Light defoilation only, skipping LST for this baby. Probably just good genetics on this one rather than any skill on my part.

Finishing up this week, turned mostly cloudy last week. Plan is to chop her when trichomes are about 30% amber... likely this weekend. Going to stick her in the dark on Thursday and hopefully chop on Saturday. Tester buds seem great, nice strong head buzz, took a few branches off for my husband who prefers the head type high. Chopped her this morning... she hung and drying. We ended up with 7.3 wet ounces. Will update next week with dry weight. Smells a bit diesel/fuel like with sweet berry/grape type undertones. Skunky aroma started at the end of the week right before chopping her. Male plant did end up pollinating some of the bud. I have been finding a few green seeds here and there. Main tent doesn’t appear to be totally pollinated, a few seeds sporadically throughout the grow but most of the bud seems clear of seeds thankfully.

Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

Can't believe we're at the start week 5 already. This is such a beautiful process. Things are looking good - I started defoliation on all the ants this week. I figure, the little one isn't getting much bigger, the big one is so bushy the light is having trouble getting thru even with LST, and the bag seed seems to be a photoperiod plant so I have all the veg time I need to recover on that one. Update: The bigger girl started flowering on day 32! Let me know what y'all think!
